Mayuri was no doubt surprised at the claim.

Mayuri: What was that? Did I hear you just say, "Reclaim Bankai"?

Urahara: Yes. To be more precise, I discovered a weakness in the means that Quincies use to steal Bankai. We can use that to prevent them from stealing our Bankai. Furthermore, we can use it to reclaim everyone's stolen Bankai. That's what I meant.

One of the R&D members exclaimed his surprise.

R&D Member 1: Wow! Kisuke Urahara is amazing.

R&D Member 2: Watch it, you idiot...!

Mayuri chose to ignore his two subordinates.

Mayuri: I see, I see. That is indeed a wonderful discovery.

Urahara: Well, it was a piece of cake for me! Well, it would be disingenuous to not give Miss Zulema her credit as well.

Mayuri: However, that is a whole other matter.

Urahara: Huh?

Mayuri: To place a communication device on my clothes without permission is a serious crime.

Mayuri indeed cut off communications. However that didn't stop Urahara from one uping Mayuri.



Urahara: Just kidding!

Urahara exited a Senkaimon directly behind Mayuri.

R&D Member: Ah! He's here in the flesh!

Urahara: Oh, did I scare you? Sorry about that. I was calling from inside the Precipice World. Anyway, I want to ask for your cooperation, Captain Kurotsuchi.

Mayuri: Humph. There's nothing I can help you with. As you can see, the Quincies have crippled the Department of Research and Development.

Oh, come on, what are you talking about? We have that place.

Urahara pointed at a door filled with light.

Urahara: Kudos to you, Captain Kurotsuchi, for identifying the properties of the Quincies' shadows. So, can I count on your help?

Mayuri said nothing as he walked into the brightly lit room with Urahara following slightly behind. The moment the two scientists got into the new laboratory, Urahara revealed a bag of black pills.

Urahara: These are Shineiyaku.



Mayuri: So that's what you were referring to, huh?

Urahara: Yes. With these, we can completely prevent our Bankai from getting stolen. I decided to remain in Hueco Mundo after hearing the report that the captains' Bankai were getting stolen. On his way to the Soul Society, (Y/N) came up with a great theory as to why his and Kurosaki's Bankai weren't stolen, which was because of their hollowfied Bankai. It's such an obvious reason, especially when I saw the arrancars with my own eyes.

Urahara started to explain.

Urahara: The turning point was the battle with Quilge Opie after he had consumed a Hollow. His appearance crumbled at the moment he absorbed the Hollow. I realized that he wasn't able to completely control its power. As I'm sure you know, Captain Kurotsuchi... With an Arrancars' Resurrección, the power of their soul is shaped into a sword and released to obtain greater powers. You could say that this skill is nearly identical to a Bankai. If the Bankai of the captains can be stolen, then the same should apply to the Resurrección of the Arrancars. However, not a single Arrancar had their Resurrección stolen. And it's not because the Quincies weren't interested in the Arrancars. It's a fact that they captured many Arrancars and turned them into soldiers. Yet, they did not steal their Resurrección. There can only be two reasons-

Mayuri: Either Resurrección can't be stolen or stealing them would be disadvantageous to them. Based on your Hollow research, you cannot find a reason why Bankai can be stolen but not Resurrección. In that case, it is logical to think it is disadvantageous.

Urahara: That's what I was thinking. And thanks to Miss Zulmea, I was able to get a hand on (Y/N)'s spiritual energy and analyze it. Through our combined efforts we found a safe way to temporarily hollowfy a Bankai for the average Shinigami. And that's what led to the creation of the Shineiyaku.

Just then, a R&D member got the attention of Urahara and Mayuri.

R&D Member: We've located the Spiritual Pressures of the captains both inside and outside the Seireitei! Tenteikura is ready. Communication can commence!

Urahara: Got it.

(Meanwhile) In the Royal Palace.

(Y/N) was laid out on the floor of the training hall as he had just gotten down with a sparring match with Ichbei.

Ichibei: So, how does it feel to wield your new zanpakuto?

(Y/N): At first it felt weird. My scythe was originally large but it was also a bit thin. This new zanpakuto kept the size but the weight increased. But now it feels like paper. It's strange how much I've seen an increase in my overall abilities in these last three days.

Ichibei: When you train on a Soul king scale, it's only natural. You're with the best of the best. However, do remember to keep that power in check at all times.

(Y/N): I've taught myself that fairly early. I'd be scared of myself if I didn't.

Ichibei: Well that's great to hear! How about we pick things up-

Ichibei stopped in the middle of his sentence as looked to be in a trance.

(Y/N): Um... Mr. Hyosube? Are you-

Ichibei: (Y/N), it's about time you and your friends make your return to Soul Society. They've returned.

(Y/N) knew immediately what Ichibei was implying.

(Y/N): Already?

Ichibei: Yes. Senjumaru will give you all your new garbs. I'll prepare your way back to the Soul Society in the meantime. You should stop by Kirio and refuel yourself. You can't go back to Soul Society without being at your best.

(Y/N): Got it!

(Timeskip)

(Y/N), Rukia and Renji all stood at the entrance of the Royal Palace. They all wore cloaks tailor made specifically for them over their usual Shihakusho.

(Y/N): Where's Captain Byakuya?

Rukia: Brother's cloak is still being tailored so he's going to be a bit late.

Renji: Is the cloak really important?

"It most certainly is!"

Ichibei arrived as he prepared a staircase for the three shinigamis.

Ichibei: Those cloaks on your shoulders that you don are an Oken. You'll need it to leave the Royal Palace.

(Y/N): Really? But I thought the Oken were inside of the Royal Guards?

Ichibei: Precisely. Senjumaru created those cloaks with her very own hair and bones.

(Y/N) looked at his own cloak in mystique. He was confused on how such a feat was even possible.

(Y/N): Who would've thought skin and bones would've felt silky and smooth...

Rukia: I'll say.

Ichibei: Now then. It's about time you three made your way to the Soul Society. Make haste, who knows what those Quincies have planned.

All three: Right!

Ichibei: It should take you-

(Y/N): Two hours.

Ichibei: Hm?

(Y/N): If I carry Rukia and Renji with me. I can get there in two hours.

Ichibei: Are you positive?

(Y/N): Without a doubt. Are you two okay with that?

Rukia: If you're confident then by all means.

Renji: Wait hold on-

(Y/N) ignored Renji as he picked his two friends up and jumped down from the Royal Palace into the Soul Society.

Ichibei: He somehow used his training here to not only improve his Shinigami abilities but his Hollow abilities as well. However he did it, I'm not sure, but it's quite impressive. (Y/N) (L/N), you truly are an intelligent mind.

I loved the idea of (Y/N) subconciously learning how to use Zommari's Gemelos Sonído, which would allow him to get to Soul Society quicker than Ichigo did. This also means Rukia and Renji would arrive to the battlefield earlier than usual.
