After Aizen's retreat, the Soul Society immediately began treating the wounded.
Groups Seven, Ten, Eleven, and Thirteen all help to heal Captain Komamura! Lieutenant Abarai has received stage six treatment. Groups Eight and Nine, prepare for transport! They're all seriously wounded! Let's move it!
Rukia was currently worried about her brother's condition.
Rukia: Brother! Brother!
Relief Team Shinigami: Please stay back. He is being treated right now!
Captain Komamura, despite being taken out in one hit by Aizen, got right back up. He brushed off his injuries.
Komamura: I'm all right. See to the others...
Relief Team Shinigami 2: P-Please, Captain Komamura!
One of the Advanced Relief Team leaders, Yasochika Iemura was currently helping out as well.
Relief Team Shinigami: Excuse me, Third Seat Iemura. What should we do?
Iemura: Help treat the Ryoka.
Relief Team Shinigami: Huh? B-But
Iemura: You must've realized by now. They saved the Soul Society. Now move!
Relief Team Shinigami: Y-Yes!
Just then Unohana joined in.
Iemura: Captain Unohana! What is the condition of Captain Hitsugaya and Lieutenant Hinamori?
Unohana: They've escaped death. It's up to them now. Isane is continuing to treat them. Who's left?
Iemura: Captain Kuchiki and the (H/C) Ryoka boy! It doesn't seem like the blonde Ryoka needs our help.
Iemura gestures towards Ichigo where he was being healed by Orihime.
Unohana started healing Byakuya before moving onto (Y/N). Unohana was honestly surprised at how much (Y/N) has done in the Seireitei in the last few days.
He fought two lieutenants
He fought her and escaped with his life
He unlocked Bankai two days after said fight.
She heard he fought Soi-Fon and forced her to surrender
He apparently took down Gin and Tousen before the rest of the captains arrived.
He had the ability to summon Hollows.
He was certainly an interesting child. One that Aizen took an interest in. That wasn't a good sign.
Soon enough (Y/N) woke up. Albeit extremely fatigued.
(Y/N): I'm not dead, am I?
Unohana: Fortunately no. We're glad you are still with us.
(Y/N): I'm not going to be arrested am I?
Unohana: Oh heavens no, we're way past that at this point.
(Y/N): Thank goodness. I don't know if I have any more fight in me for the day.
Unohana: I doubt any of us do.
As Unohana and (Y/N) continued their small talk, (Y/N) heard two familiar voices closing in.
Sentaro & Kiyone: (Y/N) are you okay!
(Y/N): I've had better days but I'm just thankful we're all alive at the end of the day.
Sentaro: I had full faith in your strength!
Kiyone: You? Faith? You ran away from Captain Soi-Fon screaming how (Y/N) was digging his own grave.
Sentaro: T-T-That's completely false. What about you? You were practically crying a river after we left.
Kiyone: blushes Now you're just fabricating stories!
Hearing the two bicker made (Y/N) chuckle.
(Y/N): How about you two agree to disagree.
Kiyone: That would be for the best.
Sentaro: Yeah, who cares about arguing, we should celebrate our survival.
Kiyone and Sentaro entered (Y/N) and Unohana's conversation as (Y/N) was being healed.
(Timeskip) Next day
(Y/N) had most of his injuries healed and decided to have a walk around the Seireitei. Now that he wasn't in danger of being arrested, he could safely walked the streets and admire the view (of anything he or his friends didn't manage to destroy)
As he was taking his stroll, he ran into a familiar face.
(Y/N): Fancy meeting you here Soi-Fon.
Soi-Fon met (Y/N)'s gaze, but she didn't seem too happy.
Soi-Fon: Oh it's you.
(Y/N): Yikes, the cold shoulder. What are you doing out here, if you don't mind me asking.
Soi-Fon: None of your business. And speaking of business, I have some to attend to.
(Y/N): Do you? Or do you just want to avoid me?
Soi-Fon: You're definitely talkative. *mumbles* you remind me too much of that idiot Urahara.
(Y/N): You know Mr. Urahara? Nevermind, dumb question. Mr. Urahara and Yoruichi are pretty close, of course you would know him. You seem to have a bit of distaste for him. How come?
Soi-Fon: I blame Urahara for a lot of things. The most important one being the reason why Yoruichi left the Soul Society in the first place.
(Y/N): Was he really?
Soi-Fon: Of course! He had to put some sort of spell on Yoruichi. There's no way someone of Yoruichi's calibur to think so highly of someone so lazy and carefree who was so bad at his job.
(Y/N) sat there a bit stunned before letting out a chuckle. The allegations Soi-Fon was making of Urahara was honestly comedy to (Y/N).
(Y/N): Pfft.
Soi-Fon: And what's so funny.
(Y/N): I'm sorry, I just found it kinda funny that you assumed Yoruichi is under a spell of some kind. And also I think this is the first time I've heard anyone insult Mr. Urahara the way you did.
Soi-Fon: I'm simply telling the truth.
(Y/N): So do you have proof that Mr. Urahara has some "mind controlling" spell or is it just a gut feeling?
Soi-Fon: Proof, no. However, if you knew the Yoruichi I knew, you'd be able to tell right away.
(Y/N) could definitely hear the denial in her voice.
(Y/N): So what makes me so similar to Mr. Urahara.
Soi-Fon: You both know how to push my buttons.
(Y/N): If you're talking about yesterday's fight, I kinda had to. I needed you to fight recklessly to make sure my plan went well.
Soi-Fon: Well first impressions aren't looking too well.
(Y/N): Pssh. First impressions always sucks. Come on, now that all the fighting is over, how about we start over.
(Y/N) put his hand out for a handshake.
Soi-Fon: Just because we aren't enemies anymore doesn't mean we have to be friends. Now excuse me I have to get going.
And with that Soi-Fon walked off.
(Y/N): Well the conversation was longer than I thought it would've been. So that's a plus.
???: I'll say. She at least seemed to open up to you a little bit.
(Y/N) turned around and saw Yoruichi standing a few steps behind him.
(Y/N): Oh, Yoruichi. How long have you been listening?
Yoruichi: Well I was coincidentally in the area when I saw you two bump into each other. I couldn't hear a thing but considering she spent more than a minute talking meant you did better than most people.
(Y/N): Is it that bad?
Yoruichi: Oh trust me, it is. Well I'm off. Don't forget, we're leaving in a week.
(Y/N): Gotcha, see yea Yoruichi.
(Y/N) then decided he had enough sightseeing for today and thought to make a visit.
To the Fourth Division to meet with Unohana.
(Timeskip)
(Y/N) stood in front of the Fourth Division Barracks. He was hoping Unohana wasn't busy with any important task. Considering the amount of people that were involved in the whole Aizen situation, there were many people who were still injured.
(Y/N): Now that I think about it, what is the proper etiquette in the Soul Society? Do you announce ahead of time that you want to visit or do you just knock and get permission to enter? I should have probably asked Rukia before coming here.
???: *chuckles* Don't worry, you can just walk in.
(Y/N): Hm?
(Y/N) turned around and meet eyes with Unohana's lietuenant, Isane Kotetsu.
(Y/N): Oh Ms. Kotetsu, sorry. I hope I wasn't in your way.
Isane: Just call me Isane. And don't worry I just got here.
(Y/N): Right.
As Isane and (Y/N) entered the barracks they had some small talk.
Isane: So, what brings you to the Sixth Division barracks?
(Y/N): Well originally I wanted to ask Captain Unohana for some advice and Kaidou, but the more I thought about it, she may be busy with healing everyone that got hurt during yesterday's incident. So I thought, I could probably stop by to help out.
Isane: I see. I'm sure Captain Unohana would be happy to assist you.
(Y/N): Really? Well, I still want to help out. It's the least I could do after all the hospitality you showed me and my friends, despite our original intentions.
Isane: Well I'm sure Unohana would appreciate more help. Thank you.
(Y/N) and Isane got to the medical ward and were met with many shinigami in bandages or in beds. (Y/N) wondered how many of these patients were actually victims of him and his friends. He couldn't place all of the blame on Aizen and his posse alone. Just then (Y/N) heard the voice of the woman he was looking for.
Unohana: I didn't think I'd be seeing you so soon, (Y/N). Is there an issue?
(Y/N): Oh, no not really, actually I came here to help out. And to ask for a favor, if it isn't too much.
Unohana: Oh? And what might that be?
(Y/N): Can you teach me how to be as proficient at healing as you are?
To be continued
The manga pretty much skip the entire week that the group spent in the Soul Society before returning home, only showing the last 2 days (and even then, there wasn't much scenes). So I'm going to create a mini arc of (Y/N)'s adventure in the Soul Society during that week break. This is how I'm going to flesh out the (Y/N)/Soi-Fon dynamic while also having (Y/N) get acquainted with most of the captains.
