(Y/N) was in front of his house. After being missing for three days (nearly 4), he knew he was going to get an earful from his sister and his friend.

It was already nearly dinner time. (Y/N) wasn't sure if (S/N) ate or not. She wasn't the best of cooks. He also didn't know if Soi-Fon was eating anything good either. Calavera was probably just as worried as the other two. He didn't mention a word to her either. Their only hope was if (F/N) came home early to cook for them.

(Y/N) decided to stop procrastinating and enter the house.

(Y/N): *sign* Here's hoping I get off easy...

(Y/N): (S/N)? Soi-Fon? Calavera? I'm-

Calavera: The audacity to leave us all in the dark!

If it was one person he wasn't expecting to lecture him, it was Calavera. Just then, (S/N) bolted down the stairs, hearing her brother's voice and Calavera's outburst.

(S/N): (Y/N)!

(Y/N): H-hey (S/N)...

(S/N) run towards (Y/N). (Y/N) originally thought she was going in for a hug until

(S/N): You idiot!

(Y/N) was met with a dropkick. Granted, (Y/N) couldn't feel it, but he could definitely feel the intention.

(Y/N): I deserved it...

(S/N): You don't look hurt at all! After all that effort!

(Y/N): Guess being almost superhuman does that to a person. I guess I have one more person to scream at me today. Where's Soi-Fon?

(S/N): Looking for you.

(Y/N): Huh?

(S/N): She said she had an idea where you went, but didn't know the location. She's been on a wild goose chase ever since.

(Y/N): How long was she looking for me?

(S/N): Since this morning. She didn't bother going to school today.

(Y/N) debated to himself for a bit. Will she stay out until she found him or will she come home to sleep and return to her search the next day?

(Y/N): Say, do you think she'll come back home eventually or do you think she'll stay out indefinitely?

(S/N): Not sure...

(Y/N): I guess if I just raise my spiritual pressure she'll recognize it, but I don't want to risk another arrancar showing up out of nowhere... Guess I'll just have to search for her the old fashion way.

(Y/N) took some money out of his wallet before giving it to (S/N).

(Y/N): Order some take-out for the three of us. I'll make sure to bring Soi-Fon back before the food gets cold. Wanna come with Calavera?

Calavera: I think I'll stay here... I feel like I'd be interrupting a moment if I do go.

(Y/N): Huh? Well if you say so.

(Y/N) once again, swapped to his Shinigami form and took off. As (Y/N) left the house, his first stop was to Urahara Shop. (Y/N) felt that if anyone knew the location of everyone in town, it would be Urahara. Upon arriving at the shop, (Y/N) saw Renji sitting outside.

(Y/N): Yo, Renji.

Renji: Huh? (Y/N)? Where have you been?

(Y/N): Training.

Renji: That's it? Man, you had us scared for a bit... You suddenly went missing and Soi-Fon came storming into Urahara's Shop looking for answers.

(Y/N): Soi-Fon's been here? That's a surprise.

Renji: What are you doing here anyway?

(Y/N): To find Soi-Fon actually. I thought if anyone could pinpoint her location it would be him. Or Yoruichi.

Renji: I see, you just want to cut the search time down.

(Y/N): Yep. Anyways, why are you outside?

Renji: I sleep outside.

(Y/N): Huh? Why don't you just sleep inside, I'm sure Urahara would allow it if you asked.

Renji: Nevermind me, just get going.

(Y/N): Alright fine... I was just looking out for my friend...

(Y/N) walked into the shop and was met with Tessai tidying up the shop.

(Y/N): Mr. Tsukabishi!

Tessai: Well look who it is? Young (L/N), we were worried about you!

(Y/N): Sorry for worrying you all. Where's Jinta and Ururu?

Tessai: Jinta should be in the back of the shop with Ururu.

(Y/N): And assume Yoruichi is out?

Tessai: *chuckles* Yes she is.

(Y/N): Then I'll make another educated guess and say Mr. Urahara has already clocked out for the day.

Before Tessai could answer, Urahara came out from one of the rooms in the shop.

Urahara: Not quite, my dear student. Although, how can I say such a thing when my student went to find another! *fake cries* Was I not good enough?

(Y/N): Don't be like that Mr. Urahara- Wait a minute... What do you know Mr. Urahara?

Urahara: All kidding aside, I knew you went to the Vizards for training. It was only natural. That was one thing I don't think I could help you with, unfortunately.

(Y/N): No it's alright. This was a unique problem that needed to be solve from a person with experience.

Urahara: Of course, but I must ask: Did you learn how to control your Hollow?

(Y/N): I did.

Urahara had a satisfied smirk on his face.

Urahara: Of course you did. Now then, I'm sure you didn't come this late to talk about your accomplishments. What was your reason for coming here?

(Y/N): I wanted to know where Soi-Fon is. She's been gone all day, and thought you'd know how to find her the fastest.

Urahara: Well, I have been keeping track of the shinigami's location since they've entered the World of the Living. Give me a second...

While Urahara decided to do... Whatever he does, (Y/N) noticed a notable pigtail peeking out from one of the doors. (Y/N) immediately knew it was Ururu and he assumed that Jinta wasn't too far behind.

(Y/N): Hey Ururu.

Ururu quickly retreated into the room she was in, but nearly a few seconds later she got pushed out of it by Jinta.

Jinta: Don't be a wimp!

Ururu: B-but-

Jinta: (Y/N) doesn't blame you one bit about what happened that night! Right, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): You mean the night of the arrancar invasion? Of course not! If I had taken the fight more seriously from the beginning, things wouldn't have turned out the way it did. Besides, Ururu, you probably did more than either me or Renji.

Ururu: Y-You really think so?

(Y/N): I know so!

(Y/N) put his hand out for a fist bump.

(Y/N): Don't worry, we can always improve so we don't make the same mistakes twice.

Ururu: Right!

Ururu fist bumped (Y/N) in return.

(Y/N): Thanks Jinta.

Jinta: H-huh? Thanks for what?

(Y/N): For reassuring Ururu. I know you're a bit hard on her but you always mean good.

Jinta: I-it's nothing like that. I just can't sleep if she keeps moping around like that.

(Y/N): Sure, whatever keeps you up at night.

Urahara: If you're done with your conversation, I have the info you wanted, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Oh right...

(Mini Timeskip)

(Y/N) was in front of his school at night time. According to Urahara, Soi-Fon was here. Luckily, with his speed he was able to make it there in almost an instant. (Y/N) saw Soi-Fon sitting on one of the benches in the school yard, she seemed pretty tired. (Y/N) walked up to her with caution, not wanting to startle her.

(Y/N): Hey, you doing alright there?

Despite the cautious approach, Soi-Fon still jumped in surprise. She must've been deep in thought.

Soi-Fon: (Y- (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Hey...

Soi-Fon got up a slowly walked up to (Y/N) before

*SLAP*

(Y/N): Yeah, I saw that coming. I deserved it though...

Soi-Fon: Of course you did. You went missing for 3 days with no explanation.

(Y/N): I know. I was being dumb and inconsiderate. I hope you can forgive me-

*hug*

(Y/N) definitely was taken off guard by the sudden show of affection. It felt almost out of character for her, if (Y/N) was being honest.

(Y/N): I have to say, I wasn't expecting this...

Soi-Fon: Shut up. Be lucky I didn't go on ahead and beat you up like I was going to do originally.

(Y/N): I never said this was a bad thing.

(Y/N): As much as I appreciate this hug, I did order food for all of us. It might be getting cold by now.

Soi-Fon, not realizing how long the hug was, quickly released (Y/N).

Soi-Fon: *blush* R-right. Let's get going. Also, don't mention this to anyone.

(Y/N): I don't see what's so wrong about a hug, but sure.

Soi-Fon: So what exactly are we eating for dinner?

(Y/N): I just allowed (S/N) to decide. I don't know what she ordered. Guess we're both in for a surprise.

And with that, (Y/N) and Soi-Fon made their way back home. (Y/N) decided that starting now, he needed a schedule to balance his now hectic life.
