Wiz stood on top of her giant Hollow minion. The Giant Bull Hollow buried half of its body in the sands of Hueco Mundo.

Wiz: You've been cooped up for so long, it's about time you stretched your legs Asterius.

Wiz patted the bull on the head before turning her attention towards Isane.

Wiz: Miss Lieutenant, may you please attend to the 3 injured bodies on the field?

Wiz gestured to Chad, Renji and Rukia. Isane just nodded as ran towards the rescue team. Mayuri looked at Wiz and thought to himself.

Mayuri: *thinking* That arrancar woman indeed has interesting gadgets and gizmos. Even her abilities are much different from the normal arrancar. It's quite surprising how she was able to stay off of the Soul Society's radar.

Mayuri stared at Asterius. The stare didn't go unnoticed by Wiz.

Wiz; What's the matter, scientist? Interested in Asterius?

Mayuri: Curious is a better word. What classification of Hollow is it?

Wiz: Asterius here is created from multiple bones from my own body so he would be classified as an arrancar like myself, despite not fitting the description of a typical arrancar.

Mayuri: Oh? An interesting being this one is...

Mayuri's curiosity immediately changed into intrigue.

Wiz: Right!? My beloved Asterius has been hungry for so many years as I lacked the power to feed him a proper meal. But now that's changed.

Wiz looked down at Asterius,

Wiz: It's time to get moving! Lunch won't walk to you.

Asteris then started to swim through the sands of Hueco Mundo, eating it as he moved. He was slow but with every move he made, he shook the ground beneath the group.

Wiz turned around to face Mayuri as he stood in the same spot.

Wiz: You can witness Asterius' strength from there. Honestly, any closer and you may accidentally be a victim. I don't want you or the other Shinigami to be collateral damage.

Mayuri, although interested in the monster, didn't like being told what to do.

Mayuri: Don't get full of yourself, arrancar. As much of an enigma this beast of yours is, it won't compare to my creations. Nemu, come with me.

Nemu: Yes, sir.

As Mayuri was walking, he was stopped by Byakuya, who decided to question him.

Byakuya: Why did you stay behind, Mayuri Kurotsuchi?

Mayuri: How odd. That doesn't seem like something you'd care to know.

Byakuya: There should be more things that are of interest to you in the World of the Living. So why stay here? What are you plotting?

Mayuri: Oh? How very cautious of you. Don't worry. I'm not planning anything that'll scare you. It's just that, at the moment, the corpses over here are more interesting. That's all. Once the battle in the World of the Living is over, someone will open up a Garganta from the other side. I'll use that to go to the World of the Living, and take my time to examine each of the corpses.

Byakuya could only stare at Mayuri.

Mayuri: What is it?! I asked you, what is it?! If you have something to say, say it!

Byakuya: Well... I never expected you to say such a thing. I was a little surprised.

Mayuri was confused by Byakuya's sentence.

Mayuri: What?

Byakuya: That thing you just said... It sounded as if you were implying that sending Ichigo Kurosaki to the World of the Living would end the battle. It sounded as if you believed that Ichigo Kurosaki would be victorious.

Mayuri: Nonsense. Absolute nonsense. I never expected such words to come from you, Byakuya Kuchiki.

Byakuya then turned and started to approach Yammy. He still decided to talk to Mayuri as he walked towards the battle.

Byakuya: Then I apologize for assuming. I'll make sure to make his death as swift and clean as possible so that you have ample time to study his body.

Byakuya then left Mayuri by himself. Mayuri could only sign in annoyance.

Mayuri: That's if that beast doesn't devour the body first.

With Kenpachi

Kenpachi had a huge grin across his face. Anytime Yammy knocked him around he would just get back up and return on the offensive.

Kenpachi: Ha Ha! You're pretty quick for a big guy!

Yammy: Stay down, damn cockroach!

Kenpachi then started to block Yammy's attacks. Kenpachi then swung his blade, which Yammy narrowly dodged. The force of the swing sent a shockwave that cut through the sand.

Yammy went in for another punch but got interrupted by-

Byakuya: Hadō #1. Shō

Byakuya was able to knock Yammy off balance, messing up the angle and timing of his attack.

Byakuya: Hadō #73. Sōren Sōkatsui

Two beams shot out of Byakuya's index finger and middle finger, aiming at two of his legs.

Yammy: You again! I'll have to get rid of you first!

Yammy started to charge a cero but immediately the ground started to shake viciously. Asterius was starting to pick up speed and he came quick enough to reach Yammy. One of Asterius' hands came out of the sands that he was engulfed in and forcefully pushed the cero down Yammy's mouth.

Yammy retaliated by attempting to choke Asterius. Asterius took his other hand out of the sand and copied Yammy, choking him back.

The tie was broken when Wiz, who was still on top of Asterius casted a wind spell.

Wiz: Blow away!

The wind spell forced Yammy to let go of Asterius as He started to tumble over.

Wiz then flew into the air and entered her resurreccion.

Wiz: Sow Chaos, Alta Hechicera

Wiz then casted a gravity spell on Yammy.

Wiz: Stay!

This gave Asterius time to charge up a devastating punch, dealing a brutal blow to the head. The beatdown continued as Kenpachi jumped in and cut off one of Yammy's arms. Byakuya casted another Soren Sokatsui that took off the other arm.

Yammy: That's enough! You're all dead-

Yammy was interrupted by Asterius digging back into the sands of Hueco Mundo, this time his entire body was in the sand.

Wiz, while flying, casted another spell.

Wiz: Everyone please evacuate! This next attack will be a destructive one!

Everyone in the area back off giving Wiz ample space.

Wiz: Meteor, Rain Down!

Wiz released multiple meteors on top of Yammy. Yammy tried to counterattack by using a Cero to shoot down the meteors, but right as he was about to release the cero, Asterius dug up from the ground below Yammy, knocking him upwards towards the meteor. Yammy eyes widened in shock as he was pelted by multiple meteors.

As the meteor shower ended, the surrounding area was completely leveled. Yammy was lying on the floor, bleeding out.

Yammy: Damnit... I can't believe it... I lost to some pathetic shinigamis and that damn witch...

As Yammy was slowly dying, Wiz called Asterius back to her.

Wiz: Alright Asterius, good job.

Byakuya: So she truly does feed that being with hollows...

Kenpachi wasn't listening as he was looking around for Yachiru.

Mayuri then made his way forward as he spoke directly at Wiz.

Mayuri: I do hope you don't mind if I study this corpse before you have your beast eat it.

Wiz then looked at Asterius before signing.

Wiz: Sorry boy, but the meal will have to wait a bit.

Asterius simply buried itself halfway through the ground yet again, waiting patiently.

Wiz turned to Mayuri and signaled him to start his studies.

(Meanwhile) With Ichigo and Unohana

As Ichigo and Unohana ran through the Garganta, Unohana decided to ask Ichigo a question.

Unohana: Kurosaki. I want to ask you something. You encountered Sosuke Aizen at the Sokyoku Hill once before, right?

Ichigo: Yeah. What about it?

Unohana: What did you think?

Ichigo: There wasn't much to think about. He had monstrous strength. I was completely helpless. He didn't even use his Shikai. It was a one-sided battle. Even when (Y/N) challenged him, it was a landslide victory for Aizen.

Unohana noticed something when Ichigo was talking.

Unohana: "He didn't even use his Shikai." Did I hear that correctly?

Ichigo: Yeah.

Unohana: That's good.

Ichigo: Huh?

Unohana: The fact that you had such a large difference in strength was your greatest fortune. I shall tell you now, Kurosaki. At the moment, you and (Y/N) are probably the only people in the World of the Living, Soul Society and Hueco Mundo who can fight Sosuke Aizen.

Ichigo: What do you mean?

Unohana: We, the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, Kisuke Urahara's men, with whom you are acquainted with in the World of the Living, as well as Sosuke Aizen's subordinates, the Arrancars and the Espadas... Everyone who is possibly involved in the battle in the World of the Living has seen Aizen's Shikai. That's right, Ichigo Kurosaki. Everyone but you and (Y/N) (L/N). You both possess a Spiritual Pressure that rivals that of a captain and neither of you have not seen Kyoka Suigetsu.

Ichigo: So as long as me and (Y/N) don't see Aizen's Shikai, we won't fall under his complete hypnosis?

Unohana: That's right. Your advantage is very important in this battle. No. More accurately, if you lose that advantage, this battle is over.

Unohana's voice got a lot more serious.

Unohana: Kurosaki... No matter what happens in this battle from here on out, do not look at Sosuke Aizen's Shikai. Ever. Got it.

Ichigo: Thanks, Unohana. I'm glad I heard that before I went into battle. Hearing that is more than enough. Then it's decided. (Y/N) and I are going to defeat Aizen!

The path that Ichigo and Unohana were walking on was starting to get weaker. Unohana noticed it immediately.

Unohana: Um, Kurosaki... Care to let me run in front of you?

Ichigo: Huh? No, that's okay. If you're worried about my Spiritual Pressure consumption, I'll be... fine.

Ichigo then felt an unusual intensity from Unohana.

Unohana: Kurosaki... Care to let me run in front of you?

Ichigo: Yes. Please do.

Ichigo's mind started to wander.

Ichigo: *thinking* She's kinda scarier than Kenpaachi... How did (Y/N) stay in her presence for so long?

Ichigo: I'm sorry.

Unohana: Don't be.

Unohana took the lead and the pathway immediately became a lot more solid.

Ichigo: Whoa... The path looks so nice when done by a captain's Spiritual Pressure. In fact, the difference is so great that it's making me sad.



Unohana: What are you talking about? We're no different in terms of Spiritual Pressure.

Ichigo: Huh?

Unohana: From what I can see, your wounds have healed. Yet, you were making a mess even in your best condition. Your sloppy Spiritual Pressure is just not suited for this sort of task.

Ichigo: Sloppy? Th-That's not true! If my Spiritual Pressure were completely recovered, I could do a little better!

Unohana: You look a little too awake to be daydreaming.

Ichigo: Hold on! Don't you think you're being a little mean?! I'm not daydreaming, or joking! Take a look at this! I only have a right sleeve, right? When I do Bankai, my Shihakusho changes too. And it seems this transformed Shihakusho is also part of my Bankai. As proof of that... When Inoue healed my wounds earlier, only part of my Shihakusho was fixed. Normally when Inoue heals me, it'd fix my Shihakusho as well. So I asked her why. Apparently, Inoue can heal wounds quickly, but it takes her a while to revive a person's Spiritual Pressure. But Rukia and the others were in trouble, so I hurried off. I went off without having my Spiritual Pressure restored. So this is all the Spiritual Pressure I have right now! See? If I were at my best, I could do better!

Ichigo's lengthy explanation caught Unohana off guard. But the explanation was a revelation to Unohana.

Unohana: *thinking* His Shihakusho is less than half of what it usually is. Does that mean that he only has half of his Spiritual Pressure? I was under the impression that his Spiritual Pressure rivaled that of a captain at his best!

Unohana: Kurosaki, you should run in the front. I'm going to restore your Spiritual Pressure as best as I can while we're on the move.

Ichigo: On the move? While we're running? You can do that?

Unohana: I can. When healing with Kido, we start by restoring one's Spiritual Pressure. The restored inner Spiritual Pressure and the healer's external Spiritual Pressure then heal the body itself.

Ichigo: Okay... No wonder (Y/N) wanted to learn that healing Kido thing. It sounds handy.

Unohana: It is. Speaking of, would you say (Y/N) has as much spiritual energy as you?

Ichigo: Hm? No, I think he has a bit less, but he's better at managing his thanks to his ability to steal spiritual energy.

Ichigo then remembered something.

Ichigo: Unohana, may ask what this object is?

Ichigo took out an orb that Wiz instructed Unohana to pass onto him.

Unohana: That arrancar claimed it was an object she created that contains spiritual energy. She instructed that (Y/N) receives it so that he can restore his spiritual energy.

Ichigo: I see. I'll keep it safe then.

Ichigo and Unohana continued their way to the battlefield.
