Roughly 6 and a half years ago

A woman could be seen buckling her seatbelt as she got into her car. The two kids sitting in the back of the car could be seen sitting in the back seat sleeping after a long day at school. The woman's phone then began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey (M/N), soooo... I gotta work overtime so I can't make dinner tonight. Sorry for putting you on the spot like this..."

(M/N): Again?

"Hey I don't like it either... But they need me on another case. But if it makes you feel any better, I was planning on taking vacation after this case is over and done with."

(M/N): Well then I have something to look forward to!

"What's this? My loving wife wants to spend valuable time with me? I'm flattered-"

(M/N): Once you get time off, we'll get to fight like old times sake. I've been dying for better entertainment!

"..."

(M/N): I was just joking! Relax! Don't worry, (F/N). I'd be glad to spend time with you.

(F/N): "I'd hope so!"

(M/N) could only chuckle at her husband's childish behavior.

(M/N): Well I'll talk to you after work. I have to take the kids home.

(F/N): Right, right! The longer I stay on the phone the longer I'll be at work.

(M/N) and (F/N) said their goodbyes as they hung up and (M/N) started to drive.

As (M/N) was driving she thought back at how much her life had changed in the last six and a half years. She was essentially a different person. She went from fighting for survival on a daily basis to living in peace, away from the drama. She did occasionally miss the thrill of battle. There was also one other thing left on her mind.

(M/N): *thinking* I wonder if Wiz is doing alright...

(M/N) still feels guilty about leaving Wiz by herself in Hueco Mundo. The (M/N) of the past would've probably said something like "She's been under my wing for nearly a century! She'll be fine", but now, (M/N) truly wonder what she was doing with her life. Was she still fighting against Baraggan? Did she die?

(M/N): *thinking* No no... Don't think negative thoughts... Wiz is fine. She's strong.

(M/N): *thinking* Maybe Urahara could find a way to travel to Hueco Mundo. I could travel there myself, but with my strength alone, searching for Wiz could take forever and I'm not sure I can handle the journey by myself. I would feel better if (F/N) was there to help. Would I be too selfish for asking (F/N) to help me search for Wiz during vacation?

(M/N) was taking out her thoughts as she felt a huge spiritual pressure suddenly appear in the area. And the spiritual pressure was one she was all too familiar with.

(M/N): He's here?

(M/N)'s now calm and gentle demeanor slowly started to regress to her original cold personality. She immediately remembered that her two children were in the backseat of the car, currently asleep.

(M/N) then felt spiritual energy being charged.

(M/N): He wouldn't...

(M/N) immediately dove into the backseat of the car to protect the two sleeping children. An explosion went off as (M/N) covered the two children with her body as best as she could. The car flipped over and (M/N) dragged the two children out of the car as safely as she could.

As she got out of the car, she looked up and came face to face with the last person she wanted to see.

(M/N): Why are you here, Aizen!?

Aizen: My... would you look at that. The infamous (M/N) La Parca. You don't look as dangerous as you used to. What happened? As the World of the Living made you soft?

(M/N): What are you doing here?

Aizen: I simply wanted to see how my valuable test subject was improving. It seems you still haven't recovered all of your spiritual pressure.

(M/N) was in a horrible spot, she wasn't at full power and she had two children to protect. Aizen didn't fail to notice either.

Aizen: What's this? Are they your's, (M/N)?

The moment Aizen took a step forward, (M/N)'s spirit separated from her Gigai, returning to her arrancar form. This time, she held onto two katanas instead of her usual one. Aizen was intrigued.

Aizen: Despite your declining strength, you still decided to train. That's good. I assume the new katana is your zanpakuto?

(M/N): Leave. We have no business with each other.

(M/N)'s words were drenched in venom. Her heart and mind was racing. She was ready to snap at the mere sight of Aizen. The only thing keeping her sane was the fact that her kids were currently behind her.

Aizen took another step and began to speak.

Aizen: Now-

(M/N). without hesitation, dashed in with superhuman speed. She swung her katana straight at Aizen's neck. However Aizen caught it with his fingers.

Aizen: Please take this seriously. If you want to kill me, at least call your zanpakuto's name.

(M/N): I didn't want to give you the chance to defend against my attack. But considering that my surprise attack didn't work, I have no choice.

Keep them at bay, Inochiryoku no Ha

(F/N)'s POV

(F/N) was currently in his office working. He was dreading all the extra work that was piling up on his desk. (F/N) started to mumble to himself.

(F/N): Stupid case... Someone else could've taken it... I could've been at home with my beautiful wife and kids right now, but here I am working... *sign* I can't wait until I'm on vacation...

As (F/N) was ranting to himself, he felt a huge spiritual pressure suddenly appear. He wasn't aware of who it belonged to but he wasn't stupid enough to not investigate it. But before he could even leave the office he felt another spiritual pressure raise. He was well aware of who it belonged to.

(F/N): (M/N)???

(F/N) got up from his desk in a flash and ran out of his office. Everyone in the office was confused at (F/N)'s sudden action. (F/N)'s junior colleague, Asuka, who was sitting nearby, looked up in confusion.

(F/N): M-Mr. (L/N)? What's the matter?

(F/N)'s superior, Mr. Aoi, the man who was pretty much responsible for (F/N) and (M/N) meeting in the first place was also present, now with a prosthetic leg.

Aoi: (F/N), where do you think you're going? We still have work to do!

(F/N): THE WORK CAN WAIT! MY WIFE'S IN TROUBLE!

(F/N)'s outburst caught everyone off guard. Aoi and Asuka looked at each other for a second before Aoi looked towards everyone else in the office.

Aoi: Everyone, prepare to get the ambulance on the line!This is serious! Once we get the location, inform the ambulance immediately! Ms. Ito... Come with me. We're going to follow (F/N).

Asuka: H-huh? W-wait a minute what do you mean?

Aoi: (F/N) said his wife's in trouble and I believe him. We have to make sure he doesn't get himself in the same trouble.

Asuka: I-I'm confused...

Aoi: Listen up! (F/N) wasn't a normal one. The look on his face when he stormed out of this office reminded me of that day.

Asuka: That day?

Aoi: The day I lost my leg... If (F/N)'s getting himself anything like what we experience on that day, he'll get himself hurt or worse... (F/N) never told me what happened that night after he ran off by himself but it must've been something that none of us could possibly imagine.

Asuka: This seems bigger than just a normal emergency... So why tell me all of this?

Aoi: Besides me, you're the only person (F/N) seems to trust completely. So I'm telling you this in good faith. Now let's go.

Asuka: Right!

As the two ran out the station they realized that (F/N) was long gone.

Asuka: I can't see him anywhere... Where did he go? He didn't take any of the vehicles... How did he get away so fast?

Aoi: Something definitely isn't right. We'll drive around the area.

Meanwhile (F/N) was soaring through the air on his way towards (M/N)'s location.

(F/N): Hold on (M/N)... I'm on the way...

(M/N)'s standard katana transformed as she activated her Shikai.



Her second katana vanished as she also used her resurreccion.

(M/N): *thinking* I can't use Segunda Etapa because of my injury... The only thing I can do now is hope that this is enough... I'm still not quite strong enough to hold my Bankai for too long. Simply using resurreccion and Shikai in conjunction is going to burn massive amounts of energy.

(M/N) rushed towards Aizen and swung her katana at Aizen swiftly, so fast that even her afterimages mirrored her attacks.



Aizen blocked them all by summoning a barrier in front of him.

(M/N): *thinking* just keep storing energy...

Aizen: It seems your speed is still intact. Though I am curious. What exactly is your zanpakuto's ability?

Aizen then reached for his sword, however (M/N) swung at him again, stopping him from grabbing his sword.

(M/N) tried to swing at Aizen's neck again, but unfortunately it didn't make contact as Aizen evaded the attack.

(M/N): *thinking* Crap... At the very least, I need him to block the attack with that barrier of his... If he keeps evading, my shikai is useless...

(M/N) continued her assault by delivering a barrage of lightning fast slashes towards Aizen.



Aizen, who was able to finally draw his zanpakuto, blocked all of her attacks.

Aizen: A nice attempt but I must say, I'm a tad disappointed in this display, (M/N)...

Aizen swung his zanpakuto with intensity. (M/N) blocked it and the force of the attack caused the roads to shatter. (M/N) was at least glad her children weren't caught in the crossfire. Aizen continued to swing his blade and (M/N) simply blocked all of the attacks.

Aizen: Are you not going to fight back?

(M/N): Oh, but I am...

Aizen: Hm?

Aizen swung his zanpakuto again, however (M/N) blocked once again. (M/N) then uttered to herself.

(M/N): Kinetic Energy, stop.

Aizen was then frozen in place.

(M/N)'s katana then started to glow as she prepared a fatal attack.

(M/N): *thinking* Potential energy stored... Kinetic Energy RELEASE!

(M/N) swung her sword as she released a massive amount of energy at Aizen. Aizen was still frozen in place by (M/N) previous attack and took the full brunt of (M/N)'s attack.



As the explosion cleared, (M/N) looked around for Aizen, but he was nowhere to be found.

Aizen: A magnificent display, I must say.

Aizen was standing right behind (M/N). (M/N) immediately backed away from Aizen as he stood there with a smirk on his face.

Aizen: I've figured it out. Your ability that is. Your ability is Kinetic energy manipulation.

(M/N) was in awe at how quick Aizen put the pieces together.

Aizen: You were willing to clash blades with me to store up energy and release an attack you would normally never be able to use in your condition. You even froze me in place by stopping kinetic energy from flowing, essentially keeping me in a "potential energy" state. That was quite a tactic you've used. However, my spiritual pressure far outclasses yours, which means I had the ability to break out of your trap the moment you placed me in it.

(M/N) was sweating bullets. Had she been fighting anyone else, she would've already won this fight, but of course, being the brainiac he is, Aizen had to put the pieces together.

(M/N): And what do you plan to do now that you know?

Aizen: That ability is dangerous, despite the time it takes to put it together. Although you're weak now, if you were to potentially regain your strength, you'll no doubt be a threat with something like that.

(M/N): So you plan to kill me like I knew you would? Hmph, fine then?

(M/N) deactivated her resurreccion as she then concentrated all her spiritual energy into something else.

(M/N): *thinking* I can't use resurreccion while using "that", but it's my last chance...

(M/N) sheathed her sword before she uttered the words.

Aizen: Oh? You've also unlocked Bankai? That's quite surprising. I guess I'll have to get serious as well...

Shatter, Kyoka Suiget-

(M/N) didn't allow Aizen to use his Shikai, as she moved in front of him in an instant with her sword aimed for Aizen's chest. Aizen narrowly dodged the attack.

Aizen: Your speed increased dramatically. What did you do?

(M/N): ...

Aizen: No answer? Alright then.

Aizen dashed towards (M/N) however, Aizen stopped as he saw multiple clones of (M/N) materalized out thin air.

(M/N): Urahara told me about your ability. The ability to fool the senses, was it? Although not the same, I think I can replicate it a bit. Have a taste of your own medicine.

All of the (M/N) started to charge at Aizen. Aizen swung his sword at a multitude of clones, but as his blade made contact, his blade slipped right through them.

Aizen: ???

Aizen then got cut from behind, straight down the back. Aizen quickly turned around and casted Hadō #73. Sōren Sōkatsui striking (M/N) in the chest, leaving a huge hole.

Until (M/N) vanished into thin air. Another (M/N) reappeared out of thin air.

Aizen: What?

(M/N): Surprising isn't it, Aizen? You could fool other's senses but you yourself aren't immune to having your own senses played with.

Aizen: Hmph. A neat trick, but I'm close to understanding this trick of yours...

(M/N): I'll just have to land the decisive blow before you can find out!

Aizen: Can you? All I need to do is catch you once. Once you've seen Kyoka Suigetsu's activation you'll be under my whim before you die.

(M/N): That's if you have the chance to activate it!

(M/N) continued her onslaught she moved like light, teleporting and landing hits on Aizen's body that he had a hard time reacting to.



Aizen keep concentrating on (M/N)'s movements before he casted Bakudō #30. Shitotsu Sansen, locking (M/N) in a triangular formation of energy.

Aizen then smirked as he raised his sword towards (M/N).

Aizen: Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu.

Aizen activated his Shikai in front of (M/N).

Aizen: I've won. This has been an interesting show of strength and intelligence, however this is where I must dispose of you, (M/N) la Parca.

(M/N): It's (M/N) (L/N) to you...

Aizen: I see, my apologies.

Aizen raised his sword and slammed it down on (M/N), however in a split second, (M/N) broke out of the spell and dodge the attack, firing a cero point blank in Aizen's face.

Aizen brushed off the attack and looked at (M/N).

Aizen: You still struggle? You've seen my Kyoka Suigetsu. I have control over your senses.

Aizen swung his sword again, but (M/N) just smirked. She stood in place and waited at the exact moment Aizen's sword touched her skin and teleported out of the way. (M/N) then charged a beam that looked nothing like a Cero at Aizen.

Aizen, shocked that (M/N) dodged his attack under Kyoka Suigetsu's influence, turned around and summoned another barrier.

The beam made contact with the barrier but immediately broke through and shot through Aizen's shoulder.

Aizen was confused for a moment, before thinking.

Aizen: This Bankai... Yes it's more impressive than the Shikai.

(M/N): Don't tell me you figured that out too...

Aizen: *chuckle* I didn't get this far without my deduction skills.

(M/N) knew that if Aizen truly knew of her Bankai abilities, he would have an easier time beating her.

Aizen: Thanks to your Bankai ability, you've found a way to evade my Kyoka Suigetsu. Your shikai ability was the ability to manipulate kinetic energy, but your bankai allows you to manipulate more than that. You can manipulate any kind of energy you see fit.

(M/N): *thinking* Crap, this nerd knows everything...

Aizen continued his explanation

Aizen: Light is made up of energy, so you've been manipulating it this entire time. You've bent light to create mirages to create look likalikes and even created a holographic image of you getting pierced by Sōren Sōkatsui to trick me. And lastly, you've prevented light from entering your eyes to make yourself temporarily blind as to avoid looking at Kyoka Suigetsu. If I had to guess, you're now bending light to blur my sword from your vision.

(M/N): Just knowing how I've been using light doesn't help you, there's many more ways to use energy now isn't there?

Aizen: You're right, but now your previous tricks won't work on me.

(M/N): That's what you think...

(M/N) looked around and realized that her and Aizen's fight had long moved away from her kids. She let out a sign of relief as she prepared her attack.

Aizen dashed towards her in an instant.

Aizen: I won't let you.

However as Aizen got closer, Aizen's vision suddenly disappeared. This allowed (M/N) to dodge the incoming attack and start her counterattack.

(M/N): You knew I was able to blind myself by preventing light from entering it. Did you really think I wouldn't be able to do the same to you?

Just then Aizen froze in place, just like he did when (M/N) launched her last trump card.

(M/N): This is where things end Aizen. I can finally get you out of my life for good. And I'll be able to live peacefully.

(M/N) just then the surrounding area started to drop in temperature. (M/N) spoke up.

(M/N): Aizen, you're a scientist right? So let me pick your brain for a second. I have a hypothesis. What would happen if all the energy in the world was hypothetically gone? What would happen? Personally, I think the world would have no way of generating heat. Without heat. Everything would eventually freeze over. Thankfully I'm not that harmless to kill everything on this planet. So I limited my ability to this exact location. Here, you'll freeze to death and shatter into pieces by my blade.

Aizen: Hmph... I must say, this scheme of yours is elaborate. I commend you. However, I must say that this is where I say checkmate.

Despite Aizen's body starting to freeze over, he was extremely confident.

(M/N): What's with the smug grin on your face?

(End Song)

Just then, (M/N)'s vision vanished. She couldn't see a thing nor could she hear. Just then a blade pierced (M/N) through her chest. (M/N) coughed up blood. The pain broke (M/N)'s concentrating, interrupting the technique she was using.

As (M/N)'s senses returned to her, saw an extremely long blade coming through her chest. She turned around and saw Gin from a distance, his Shikai activated. Shen also saw Tosen nearby. (M/N) was able to piece together that Tosen's ability was what stopped her vision in the first place.

Aizen: I never intended to come to this battle alone (M/N). We came to dispose of a potential threat.

Aizen then walked up to (M/N) and stabbed his sword through (M/N)'s heart.

Aizen: Goodbye, (M/N) (L/N). This was truly a test worth evaluating.

Aizen removed his blade from (M/N) as her body fell to the floor. (M/N) dragged her body slowly and painfully across the ground. Tosen walked towards (M/N), ready to take off her head but Aizen stopped him.

Aizen: Let her be. This will be the last time she'll be allowed to see her precious children.

Gin: Should we get rid of those kids after she croaks?

Aizen: No, they may prove to be worth looking into as well. Come on, let's go-

Just then a beam came flying at Aizen. Tosen jumped in to block the attack however he was sent flying, unable to defend against the attack.

Aizen wasn't able to sense the new presence and was taken off guard.

???: Was it you...?

Aizen: Are you referring to-

???: OF COURSE I'M REFERRING TO THE DYING WOMAN ON THE FLOOR!

(M/N): (F/N)...?

(M/N) saw the rage in (F/N)'s eyes. (F/N) saw nothing but red. (F/N) could only think of one thing. Murdering the man in front of him.

(F/N) fired off another laser from his pistol and this time it hit Gin. Aizen was surprised at the firepower (F/N) possessed. Aizen was about to draw his sword but (F/N) fired another shot. Once again, Aizen couldn't react to the speed of (F/N)'s gun and was hit through the shoulder.

(F/N): You better pray the next shot doesn't make contact with your head...

Aizen attempted to cast Hadō #4. Byakurai but was unable to. Aizen was caught off guard and in that moment of surprise, (F/N) aimed another laser at Aizen's head. Aizen narrowly dodged the attack.

No matter what ability Aizen tried to cast, he was unable too.

Aizen: *thinking* Is this his ability?

Aizen looked at (F/N) in intrigue.

Aizen: We'll be taking our leave... We've done what we've come to do.

(F/N): LIKE HELL I'LL LET YOU ESCAPE!

(F/N) fired multiple shots at Aizen but it was blocked by a Negacion as he, Gin and Tosen were taken back to Hueco Mundo.

As Aizen and his team escaped, (F/N) immediately ran to (M/N).

(F/N): H-hey, (M/N) come on. S-stay with me. Don't worry, I'm sure Urahara will be here soon...

(M/N) coughed up blood before she replied.

(M/N): Don't... Don't worry about me... Make sure... the kids are safe...

(F/N) picked up (M/N)'s body and ran back to the scene of the accident. As (F/N) got to the scene, he saw (M/N)'s Gigai that was still embracing a young, unconscious (Y/N) and (S/N).

(F/N): Kids!

As (F/N) called out to his kids, he heard a voice. His son's voice.

(Y/N): M-mom...

(F/N): (Y/N), come on, we gotta go! It's too dangerous here! I'll get (S/N)!

The resulting fight made the surrounding area look like a wasteland.

(Y/N): W-what about Mom?

(F/N): Don't worry, we'll get her help! We just need to get you and (S/N) to safety!

Just then, an ambulance showed up, alongside Mr. Aoi and Asuka.

Aoi: (F/N)! What's the situation?

(F/N): I have to get my wife and children to a hospital!

Aoi was so focused on meeting up with (F/N) didn't take the time to look at the surrounding area. Asuka was lost for words.

Asuka: Oh my God...

Aoi: Listen, we have an ambulance we can get them to the nearest-

(F/N): They won't do! I know a doctor personally who could help her!

(F/N) took out his cellphone, dialing Ryuken's number furiously. (F/n) knew that a normal doctor wouldn't know how to help (M/N).

For one, they were carrying the Gigai, which only Urahara would realistically know how to repair.

Two, Ryuken was a doctor who could see spirits and would understand the situation. And Ryuken knew Urahara, getting Urahara into the hospital to help with the operation would be easy.

There was only one problem though...

Ryuken was a quincy. He was known to kill hollows. (F/N) knew Ryuken stayed away from (M/N) at any chance he got. Would he really help him the situation?

He had no choice but to-

"Don't bother calling. I felt the spiritual pressure from the moment they touched down."

(F/N) turned towards the voice and saw Ryuken.

(F/N): R-Ryuken! Listen I know you don't like her but-

Ryuken: Shut up. I'll help her this once, alright. I can't guarantee I could save her life.

(F/N): All I can do is ask you to try at the very least.

(F/N) looked over to (M/N) who rejoined with her Gigai, hoping to make transportation easier. (F/N) picked up her body and handed it to Ryuken.

(F/N): I'm putting my faith in you, alright?

Ryuken refused to say anything as he walked off with (M/N).

(F/N) prayed that things would get better from here on out. However, later that day...

It happened.

Oh boy... this is going to be one long Author's Note.

So I should start with (MN)'s shikai and Bankai abilities huh?

The translation for (M/N)'s shikai is Blade of Vitality while the translation for her bankai is Limitless Vitality Blade. I google translated it so if it isn't a good translation I'm sorry.

As explained by Aizen in the chapter, (M/N)'s able to manipulate kinetic energy. For those who aren't familiar with physics, Kinetic energy is a form of energy that an object or a particle has by reason of its motion. Basically, if it's moving, an object or person is generating energy. (M/N) essentially stores kinetic energy by clashing with a moving object. In this case, clashing with Aizen's zanpakuto. She's also able to stop kinetic energy. And because kinetic energy is movement, stopping someone from using kinetic energy basically means they aren't moving at all. Lastly, any of the kinetic energy that (M/N) stores up can be released in a devasting attack. It's a pretty good ability for someone who's lost alot of their power. The most simple counter to this ability is to simply avoid any of (M/N)'s attack so that she doesn't build up kinetic energy.

Now onto the crazy ability. (M/N)'s bankai is straight up just energy manipulation. However I didn't want it to be the standard energy manipulation you see in anime. As you saw, (M/N)'s main way of using energy manipulation was by bending light. As explained earlier, Light is made up of energy. In universe, (M/N) was most likely always preparing a strategy for her inevitable fight with Aizen. Here's a few examples and explanation how she used it in the fight.

-(M/N) Forming Mirages to fake her being hit by Aizen and by creating mirage images of herself.

Mirages happen when the ground is very hot and the air is cool. The hot ground warms a layer of air just above the ground. When the light moves through the cold air and into the layer of hot air it is refracted

-Shooting a beam of light through Aizen's barrier

Think of it like using the sun to burn an ant through a magnifying glass. When light passes through a magnifying glass, it bends or refracts, focusing the light rays and increasing their intensity at the focal point. This concentrated light can generate heat.

-(M/N) turning off her and Aizen's vision

This one's simple. You need light to see. Tosen as already proven that if you're blind or unable to see, then you're immune to Kyoka Suigetsu's effect.

-Dropping the temperature my absorb the energy in the atmosphere.

This one's just pure speculation and thought it was really interesting so I thought I'd try using it as an attack.

Now there's obviously way more uses for energy outside of bending light but the use of energy is so vast I literally don't know them all.

This is easily the most elaborate and comvoluted power I've introduced in this story and I don't see myself creating another one as crazy. Now that we've finished wrapping up that entire exposition let's move onto something else I sure you're asking yourself.

Did Ryuken intentionally let (M/N) die?

No. I feel like someone will ask so I'll come out and say it right now. Now if you watched TYBW, you know that Ryuken's wife (and Uryu's mother) died because of the Auswählen. And considering that the events of this chapter happened earlier on the same day, imagine Ryuken having to take care of two dying woman at the same time. He'd obviously try to prioritize his wife but that doesn't mean he neglected either. And no (M/N) is not a quincy, it's just coincidence that (M/N) was critically injured on the same day as the Auswählen. If you remembered way back during the chapter "True Form", I specifically said (M/N) died one week after the incident. For all intents and purposes, (M/N) simply died because of her injuries overtime.

Also fun fact: (F/N)'s junior colleague, Asuka was the coworker referenced in "The Wrap Up! (F/N)'s Story Part 2" that (M/N) was jealous of. Just a little fun tidbit
