Two days after (Y/N) woke up

Wiz was looking at all the pictures that (F/N) had on display of the entire family that sat in the house. One of (M/N) with a younger (Y/N) and (S/N). Another picture with the entire family at the park. And one last picture of (F/N) and (M/N) at their wedding.

From the second floor Wiz heard a voice.

(Y/N): Yo, Wiz. Are you ready to go?

Wiz: Of course.

(Y/N): Good. Dad and (S/N) are waiting for us in the car.

(Y/N) as made his way downstairs with Calavera, he saw Wiz staring at all the family photos.

(Y/N): They caught your attention?

Wiz: Hm? Oh, well I just haven't seen (M/N) with such a positive expression before. She never smiled much in Hueco Mundo.

(Y/N): Every time you talk about mom's previous life, I have a hard time believing it's mom.

Wiz: I could say the same about your stories. But I can't deny this was her alright... I'm glad she found happiness.

(Y/N) allowed Wiz to think to herself for a while before he snapped her out of her thoughts.

(Y/N): We should probably get going. We shouldn't keep the others waiting.

Wiz: Right.

(Y/N) and Wiz left the house as they got ready to head to the cemetery to visit (M/N)'s grave.

(Timeskip) At the Cemetery

The (L/N) family sat around (M/N) grave reminiscing on the past.

(S/N): Listen, all I'm saying is that you were a bit of a crybaby when we were kids.

(Y/N): No I wasn't!

Calavera: I find that hard to believe.

(Y/N): Because she's lying.

(S/N): You watched Ichigo get beat up by Tatsuki constantly and was too scared to help.

(Y/N): I was smart enough not to fight a losing battle, alright.

(S/N): Yeah, Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Mom always came to your rescue.

(Y/N): If we're talking about embarrassing moments, what about the time you tripped in front of the entire audience during recital?

(S/N): You promised we'd never talk about that moment ever again! My friends didn't let me live it down for months.

Calavera: I need more context. Now I'm curious.

After a few minutes of sibling bickering, (Y/N) decided to feel thirsty.

(Y/N): Hey, you feeling thirsty? I'm thinking of getting something to drink. There should be a vending machine nearby.

(S/N): Yeah I'll come with.

(Y/N) and (S/N) got up and ventured off, with Calavera close behind. That left just (F/N) and Wiz at the grave.

(F/N): So what about you?

Wiz: Huh?

(F/N): Do you have any stories you wanted to talk about?

Wiz: Well...

Wiz took one more look at (M/N)'s grave.

Wiz: (M/N) doesn't know what happened after she got taken by Aizen.

(F/N): You two fought against Aizen and his goons, right? And (M/N) had to fight one on one?

Wiz: Yeah, Aizen got the jump on me and took me out. I'm not sure what happened afterward. Once I came through, (M/N) was gone and I lost my original form.

(F/N): Original form?

Wiz: Yes, I've only recently regained it thanks to (Y/N)'s friend, Orihime Inoue. But even when I met (Y/N), I wasn't in my true form originally.

(F/N): So what did you do when you woke up?

Wiz: Well...

(Flash Back) Roughly 30 years ago

In Hueco Mundo

Wiz woke up, feeling fatigued. She found herself in some ruins so ways away from Las Noches.

Wiz: Goodness... I took quite the hit...

Wiz looked around her surroundings but didn't recognize the location she was in.

Wiz: Where am I? This wasn't where me and Master were fighting... Speaking of, where is she? And where is that Aizen fellow?

As Wiz got up, she immediately felt something was off.

Wiz: My... I feel a bit out of it, today...

Wiz finally took a look at her appearance and was startled. She was slowly but surely shrinking in size. Wiz finally realized the most important detail. She reached for her head, and felt a crack in her arrancar mask.

Wiz: I see... so that's what's happening... I'm losing my power. If that's the case then Master must've left me here to finish business with that Aizen man and Baraggan. I can't stay here any longer and leave her to fight for herself. Who knows if those servants of his have recovered already from my previous attack.

Wiz clapped her hands.

Wiz: Asterius! To my side!

A giant coffin slowly started to emerge from the sands of Hueco Mundo. As the coffin opened up, the giant bull that Wiz was expecting to see was nowhere to be found.

Wiz: H-Huh? Asterius? Asterius this is no time for games-

Wiz then looked down to her feet to see nothing but a skull and boney hands about the same size as her roll out of the coffin.

Wiz: Is this all that's left of you Asterius? Is this because of my declining power?

Wiz cursed to herself as the dangers of the situation was starting to settle in.

Wiz: Damn it! I don't have much time left... Sooner or later my power is going to diminish to the point that it'll be pathetic. I may have to take a chance and head to Las Noches with what powers I have now. I just need to get Master out of Las Noches before I worry about what to do about my current situation.

Wiz looked down at Asterius' form and just signed in frustration.

Wiz: Sorry Asterius, but you'll have to return to me for the time being.

Wiz absorbed Asterius, hoping to regain a little bit of her powers. She just needed enough to make another heist in Las Noches and find (M/N).

Wiz: Now, there should be a secret pathway that I can use to sneak in Las Noches close by.

Wiz got up and quickly made her move.

(Timeskip)

Wiz could safely say she was feeling fear for the first time in nearly a century. The fact that she hasn't felt this way since teaming up with (M/N) spoke a lot about how strong the two were as a team. But between losing (M/N) and her powers slowly dwindling, she had to admit, she wasn't feeling confident. But she couldn't let her fear stop her from finding her Master. She'd gladly give up her life to make sure she was okay.

Wiz eventually snuck her way into Las Noches, however she quickly realized she wasn't too far from the throne room. Wiz summoned Asterius' skull, making it float. The skull was small enough to fit in her hand

Wiz: *whisper* Alright Asterius, look for the throne room , if (M/N)'s not there, then check the rest of this floor. We'll search Las Noches floor by floor until we find Master (M/N). Don't get caught, alright?

Asterius started to move across the hallway of Las Noches. Wiz moved in the opposite direction to cover more ground. After a half an hour or sneaking around Las Noches, Wiz found her way into a lab. A strange one at that.

Wiz was careful to not bump into anything as she looked through the items and notes that were present. The more Wiz looked through the lab, Wiz could only think of one thing.

Wiz: The head scientist is absolutely disgusting. These experiments are horrid... What was he trying to do? Though, perhaps it's hypocritical of me to speak when I've created Asterius from my own bones.

Wiz took a look through more notes.

Wiz: He even has notes on the rest of the Espadas. Previous Espadas too. Let's see here...

Wiz saw names and photos of some Arrancars she's encountered in passing with (M/N) during their centuries of wandering Hueco Mundo.

Wiz: Szayelaporro Granz... Espada #8 and owner of the research lab. Espada #3 has been recently replaced in the last few years. Nelliel Tu Odelschmanck has been replaced with Tier Harribel. Hm...Baraggan is considered the second strongest? Then who's first?

Wiz saw the name...

Wiz: Coyote Starrk... Strong enough to split his power in two and still surpass many others in strength huh? If he's so strong then where was he hiding this whole time?

Wiz then continued to look through the notes, hoping to find anything on Aizen and the other two shinigamis she fought. However, luck wasn't on her side as she felt a sudden spike of spiritual energy from Asterius, notifying her that trouble was coming her way.

Wiz: Guess that's my cue to leave.

Wiz took all the info she found and stuffed it in her small satchel and any small items that she felt nobody would remember. Wiz made her way out of the research lab as fast as she could without making noise.

Wiz then started to think to herself.

Wiz: So Master isn't in the throne room nor the research lab... Are there any jails here? There weren't any when Baraggan was in charge but who knows if they were installed after he was removed from power...

Wiz knew that Baraggan wasn't one to hold prisoners so the chances of (M/N) being her was a bit slim.

As Wiz was in her thoughts, she was snapped out of it as one of the walls in front of her was smashed through.

???: I knew I felt an unknown spiritual pressure around here!

Wiz noticed the identity of the newcomer thanks to the notes she took. This was Yammy Llargo. Wiz didn't have time to fight, now one Espada knew she was here, the others must know as well.

Wiz: Sorry Big guy, but may I kindly ask you to move out of my way.

Yammy: You have a lot of nerve sneaking in her after you and your friend made a mess of this place with that attack of yours. You're not leaving here alive.

Wiz was initially confused until she remembered her fight with Gin and Tosen not too long ago. She did summon meteors against the two of them. Some of the debris from the meteor must've hit Las Noches.

Wiz: I don't have time to play with you.

Wiz went all out from the start, activating her resurreccion.

Yammy used Bala, however, Wiz summoned a magical mirror that just reflected the attack right at Yammy. Wiz immediately teleported behind Yammy, freezing him before she casted another spell.

Wiz: Fall.

Suddenly, the gravity around Yammy got heavier and Yammy fell through the floor of Las Noches. Wiz knew she couldn't stay and fight, she had to immobilize anyone she ran into and escape as quickly as possible.

Just when Wiz thought things couldn't get worse. She heard another voice from behind her.

???: Geez, Yammy got put in his place that quickly?

Wiz immediately backed away, as she got a quick look at her opponent. As she got a good look at her opponent, Wiz was already cursing her luck.

Wiz: Of course I went from the most pathetic espada to the strongest.

Standing in front of Wiz was Coyote Starrk, clearly not in the mood for a fight.

Starrk: Sounds like too much work for you to handle. That can work out for the two of us. We don't have to fight, Just surrender and-

Then another arrancar ran up behind Starrk.

???: What do you think you're doing, Starrk? Don't negotiate with the enemy! Fight!

Starrk: Huh? But we can figure this out without fighting...

Wiz: Even if I were to believe you, jailing me would just mean waiting for your "boss" to come and kill me himself.

???: If you wanted to stay free you shouldn't have came here.

Starrk: Now, Lilynette-

Lilynette: No more talking! Starrk lets deal with her!

Wiz: Not if I have anything to say about it-

*POOF*

Before Wiz could finish her sentence, her body shrank in size. Wiz immediately knew what happened.

Wiz: My time is up...? Already?

Wiz thought she would have more time to use her full power before she eventually lost it. Then it clicked.

Wiz: It was my resurreccion. It drained my already diminishing power...

Wiz looked up to Starrk who now towered her in size. Starrk started to charge a cero.

Starrk: So it seemed you came into this fight already injured. A shame...

Starrk fired the cero. Wiz shut her eyes close,waiting for death. However, the cero flew past Wiz, hitting a wall and creating an opening to the outside of Las Noches.

Starrk: Leave...

Wiz: Huh?

Starrk: Your energy shrunk so much it feels completely different from what it was a moment ago. I doubt anyone would notice if you left right now...

Lilynette: What are you doing?

Wiz: Are you sure you won't regret this?

Starrk: Who knows...

Wiz used the chance to escape Las Noches as she desperately tried her best to contain her last remaining spiritual energy.

After Wiz left, another Espada approached Starrk.

???: Did you see the face of the intruder?

Starrk:... No... They escaped before I had the chance.

???: A slippery one I see? Well the intruder went through my laboratory, so I felt the need to know who was snooping through my notes.

Starrk: That's unfortunate... Hope it wasn't anything important Szayelaporro.

Szayelaporro: Hardly. Nothing I haven't already memorized.

Starrk: I see...

Starrk walked away nonchalantly. Lilynette followed close behind.

Lilynette: You sure that was wise?

Starrk: No.

Lilynette: Wha- *sign* So you just did it because you were lazy...

Starrk didn't answer.

(Flashback End)

Wiz: I didn't dare go back. I knew I wouldn't be as lucky as last time.

(F/N): So you just wandered around Hueco Mundo for the last 30 years.

Wiz: Hardly. Those notes and other apparatus I stole from Szayelaporro's Lab were a godsend after everything that had happened. I created so many items that help me with my constantly leaking spiritual energy. And I also was able to study up on all of the Espadas. I knew them like the back of my hand. I simply needed a team that was strong enough to help me make my dream a reality.

(F/N): And that's when (Y/N) and his friends came along?

Wiz: Precisely. Honestly, it felt too good to be true. The moment he told me (M/N) was his mother, I almost shed a tear.

(F/N): I'm glad to know that there was someone out there who was looking out for (M/N) before she came here.

Wiz: You say that, but you've done more than I could've ever achieved...

(F/N): Let's just chalk it up to both of us being a good influence on (M/N)...

Wiz: Sure, why not.

Just then, (Y/N) and (S/N) came back with the drinks.

(Y/N): So I forgot to ask what kind of drinks you like, considering Hueco Mundo doesn't have sodas, so I just brought back water. You can never go wrong with water.

(Y/N) handed Wiz a bottle of water.

Wiz: Thanks... How do I open it?

(Y/N) was starting to realize a trend in otherworldly beings. They had no idea how to use everyday items in the World of the Living. First it was Rukia, who didn't know how to open a juice box, then it was Soi-Fon, who didn't know how to work the television, and now it was Wiz not knowing how to open the water bottle.

(Y/N): Here, I'll show you.

(S/N): I got you water too, dad.

(F/N): Thanks.

Everyone sat back down as they continued to talk and enjoy the moment. As Wiz sat there, she started to think to herself.

Wiz: I can see now... Why you stayed in the World of the Living, (M/N). It's peaceful... I'm glad you got to experience it before you passed away...

So Wiz's flashback takes place immediately after the chapter "The Story of (M/N)" where (M/N) was taken by Aizen after saving Wiz. This backstory also explains how Wiz invaded Las Noches the second time (As she did bring this up way back in the chapter "A new Acquaintance").

This is also explains how the Espada even know who Wiz and (M/N) were. After fighting Aizen, Gin and Tosen in "The Story of (M/N)" and then invading Las Noches right after. I'm sure the Espada would be on the look out.

Wiz stealing info from Szaeylaporro about the different Espada also explains how she knew them despite not meeting every single one of them. She even knew Nel from the reports, as shown in "From Bad to Worse".

Speaking of Nel, I was originally going to write a Wiz vs Nel fight for this chapter but considering there was no direct date as to when Nel was kicked out of the Espada, I decided not to (I didn't want to mess up anything timeline wise). And this way, Wiz encounters Starrk. Wiz and Starrk spoke as if they knew each other in "(Y/N) vs Harribel's Conclusion! Wiz's Display in Power!" and this explains how.
