Ichigo busted in the hospital room after getting a call that Uryu was in the hospital.

Ichigo: Ishida!!

Orihime: Ichigo!

Ichigo saw Orihime, who was the first one to make it to the hospital.

Ichigo: Orihime? You're already here? Where's Chad and (Y/N)?

Orihime: Chad didn't answer his phone. He's probably working at the construction site at this hour. (Y/N) said he'd be on his way but it's been a while since then.

From the other side of the hospital curtain, Uryu's voice could be heard.

Uryu: You even contacted Kurosaki? That wasn't necessary.

Ichigo: Ishida

"Unnecessary, he says"

Coming into the hospital room was Uryu's father, Ryuken.

Ryuken: As always, he still talks big.

Uryu: I thought I wasn't supposed to have visitors. What if my wounds get worse from having all these people come in?

Ryuken: Are you an idiot? Who do you think operated on you? Something like this won't worsen your wounds.

Ryuken continued.

Ryuken: A novice who nearly died because he was cut down by an enemy shouldn't go telling a doctor what not to do.

Ichigo: W-Wait a minute. Cut down by an enemy?! What's he talking about, Ishida?!

Uryu: It's none of your business.

Ichigo: What do you mean it's not my business?! You were cut down! If you can't handle it yourself, then we'll have to do something about it together! Say something!

Ryuken: Sharing information is vital. Are you going to let my kind efforts go to waste?

Uryu: You keep out of this!

Ryuken: Oh? That was so close. An utterance another five hertz higher in pitch would've reopened your wounds.

Orihime: Uryu.

Uryu: I'm sorry, Inoue. Right now, I really don't have anything to say. Go home.

Orihime: All right...

Ichigo and Orihime exited the hospital room. Ichigo wasn't too happy to know that he couldn't help Uryu in his time of need.

Orihime: Ichigo?

Ichigo snapped out of his thoughts and turned his attention to Orihime.

Ichigo: Oh right! Sorry you had to come out this late, Inoue. Let me take you home.

Orihime stuttered in shock and embarrassment.

Orihime: Huh?! No- Uh... really?!

Before Orihime could give a clear answer, Ryuken stepped in.

Ryuken: I'll take her home in my car. You should get home quickly. Your old man seems like the type who'd give me grief if I kept you out too late.

Ichigo: I understand. Thank you very much.

Ichigo ran off, but as he made it halfway through the hallway, he bumped into (Y/N).

(Y/N): Oh... Ichigo. Are you heading home already?

Ichigo: Y-yeah... I'll see you later...

(Y/N): Before you go-

It was too late as Ichigo ran off already.

(Y/N): *sigh* Don't beat yourself up about it too much, Ichigo...

(Y/N) continued his way down the hallway and saw Orihime standing next to Uryu's father.

Ryuken: You're just in time, (L/N).

(Y/N): Mr. Ishida? Orihime? What's the situation?

Ryuken: I was getting to that. Uryu wasn't cut down by a Hollow. But it wasn't by a Soul Reaper, either. But I guess you already knew this, don't you (L/N).

Orihime: Huh? What does he mean, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I ran into the guy who did this to Uryu. It was a Fullbringer, no doubt.

Ryuken: As I expected... I checked the residual Spiritual Pressure on his wounds, and as you've said, it belonged to a fullbringer.

Orihime: I'm a bit confused on what this "fullbringer" thing is...

Ryuken: To put it simply, they're humans with supernatural powers such as you and Sado. If they are targeting humans, Uryu, a Quincy, generally falls into that category, as well. If we're to assume that Uryu was attacked by someone going after humans like themselves, then it means the next one to be in danger is either you or Sado.

Ryuken then started to walk away.

Ryuken: (L/N). Make your visit quick. I'll take you home as well. There's something I wish to discuss with your father.

(Y/N): Alright.

(Y/N) entered Uryu's hospital room and took a seat. Despite not being able to see him due to the curtain that separated them, (Y/N) could still see a vague silhouette of Uryu.

(Y/N): How are you holding up?

Uryu: I'll be fine...

...

...

(Y/N): Do you remember anything about the guy that attacked you.

Uryu: I can only remember one of them clearly...

(Y/N): Only one? That implies you knew another fullbringer was present in the area. So there really are two of them lurking...

Uryu: Huh? You saw the second?

(Y/N): Yeah. While I fought the Fullbringer took you out. Jinta was attacked by the second fullbringer

Uryu: Did they escape?

(Y/N): Yeah.

Uryu: I wish I could give you more info but everything is still a daze at the moment.

(Y/N): Don't worry about it. Just get some rest.

(Y/N) got up from his chair. Before (Y/N) could leave, Uryu stopped him.

Uryu: (Y/N).

(Y/N): Yeah?

Uryu: Be careful out there. Their way of suppressing spiritual energy is much more complicated than other spiritual beings. They could get the jump on you at any moment.

(Y/N): I gotcha. Thanks for the heads up. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

And with that, (Y/N) left the hospital room.

After taking Orihime home and arriving at the (L/N) residence. Ryuken and (Y/N) walked in and were met with (F/N), Asuka, Calavera and (S/N) in the living room.

(F/N): Ryuken?

Ryuken: (F/N). You know why I'm here, correct?

(F/N): Yeah, take a seat. I've just got around to informing my coworker here about the supernatural. You and (Y/N) came just in time. I'll be discussing what I know about our culprit.

Ryuken: You've already gotten that far?

(F/N): Not by investigating.

Ryuken: By that explanation, that must mean you have a lengthy explanation coming up.

(F/N): Yeah. Take a seat.

Asuka: So who's this mysterious person that's targeting your family?

(F/N): Not just my family... So far, they've only targeted people that have supernatural abilities. They came after Ryuken's son and then Calavera.

Calavera: That guy with the suspenders said he wanted to "send a message".

(Y/N): He said that? He told me I wasn't who he was expecting but I was a "close second". Whatever that means.

(F/N): That's because he was trying to get my attention.

Everyone besides Ryuken was surprised.

(S/N): W-wait a minute... Dad, does someone have it out for you? Like... they want you dead?

(F/N): That, I'm not entirely sure yet. But what I do know is their identity.

(Y/N): Wait, you know the identity of both of them?

(F/N): No, only one. But he's the most dangerous of the two we know now.

Asuka: O-okay... Who is he?

(F/N): Shukuro Tsukishima.

Asuka: Wait a minute, you mean-

(F/N): Yeah. The very same one.

(F/N), (S/N) and Calavera all gave each other confused looks.

(Y/N): So... Are we going to get context or...

(F/N): Long story short, the person you encounter is a childhood friend of mine, who went missing. And now, for whatever reason, he and his little sidekick are starting to target people with supernatural abilities.

Ryuken: Have you gotten any information out of him?

(F/N): Unfortunately not. He didn't let anything slip. But that changes now. Asuka.

Asuka: Y-yes?

(F/N): I'm putting in for vacation. I'm solving this issue this week.

Asuka: You can't be serious? You need all the help you can get to investigate this-

(F/N): There's a reason why Mr. Aoi allows me to take cases on my own. And this is one of them. How many people do you think know about the supernatural in the office?

Asuka couldn't answer.

(F/N): Our opponents may be humans this time around but they aren't normal humans. They're superhumans. Ordinary bullets won't hurt them. And they can easily evade law enforcement. If they wanted to, they could possibly level this entire city.

Asuka: Okay Okay! You've made your point...

(F/N): If you're really scared that these guys can take me down, don't be.

(F/N) got up and threw his arm around (Y/N).

(F/N): I got my partner in crime right here. Ain't that right, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I'm surprised you're willing to take me with you.

Ryuken: I'm sure you're forgetting an important detail, (F/N).

(F/N): And that is?

Ryuken: One: Your son still has to attend school.

Two: Your son is currently helping Kurosaki get his powers back.

(F/N): You're acting like I'm telling him to skip school. I'm doing all the investigating. I'll just let him know when it's time to fight.

(Y/N): Fine by me.

As the conversation wrapped up (Y/N), Calavera, and (S/N) all went to bed. (F/N), Ryuken and Asuka were outside, getting ready to head to their respective homes.

(F/N): Asuka, do you need me to take you home? I can't say if anyone who's connected to me is safe, even if they don't have supernatural powers.

Asuka: Usually I'd be fine going home by myself. But after everything we've talked about, it'll probably be better to have company.

(F/N) tossed Asuka the keys to his car.

(F/N): I'll be there in just a second.

(F/N) turned towards Ryuken.

Ryuken: So what do you plan to do with this "Tsukishima" once you find him.

(F/N): He's responsible for putting your son in the hospital and he targeted my daughters. Whether he's my friend or not, I'll have to kill him. There's no telling what he's up to.

Ryuken: I don't doubt you have the power to do so. What I doubt is your heart to go through with it.

(F/N) didn't say anything as he walked towards his car.

Ryuken: Just as soft as ever.
