"We wanted to show the GOC that we hadn't given up." Delilah explains why she and her guerrillas took part in the offensive in an interview.
Falmart. The cosmos. 665 imperial calendar.
The gods' attempts to crush the unknown entity had ended in humiliation. To further insult to injury it was clear as day light that the newcomers were expanding and would sooner or later make their move on sadera.
Hardly knew that she needed to stop the rising power of the newcomers. She needed to find someone with what she thought had the same weapons and tech as the newcomers and would crush them but would be passive enough not to expand further into Falmart.
She found a way soon enough to take out two birds with one stone. She would open a newly created gate in Ginza Japan. She had intended to open the gate there anyway. She sent visions of when this gate would open to her priest to spread the word around the empire.
It would open on the newcomers holiday called Christmas. She watched as the word spread and Molts planned a Christmas offensive. Prefect.
This is when her plan would go into motion. The empire would send half of its forces into Japan thus sending 100,000 men to their deaths. This and what she expected to be a costly but a Pyrrhic victory for the empire would further weaken it. Hardly to further weaken the newcomers sent out 5 of her apostles to assist the empire and some gods followed in suit.
The newcomers would be heavily weakened and would be crushed alongside the empire by the JSDF who she knew Rory would convince that the newcomers were some force of evil. She would also deal with those stubborn and traitorous dwarves who had always staved off worshiping her as well.
Thus the arrogant empire and Falmarts biggest threat would be taken out in one swoop. The JSDF would lack the numbers and will to fully occupy Falmart so they would stay by Alnus hill.
She was going for victory and nothing would stop her.
Falmart. Imperial palace. 665 imperial time.
Molt had called up his commanders and the kings of his Vassal states though Elbe was no longer present due to it rebelling and being annexed by the empire.
Zorzal was also present but Molt would try to sideline his idiot son to the best of his power. He and Count formally had drawn up plans for some of the early stages of the offensive.
Molt was not an idiot and had some grasp of the technological gap between him and his enemies. He had hoped to counter this by using unorthodox tactics. The Hayro tribe has already infiltrated after much effort the capital of the organization Paradise city.
While the early plan was for this attack to simply be a distraction for the main push into the former territory of the warrior bunnies he had switched up the plan. The 500 Hayro tribe members would be reinforced with an additional 200 more Hayro tribe members.
The attack on the capital would no longer be a distraction, it would be a decapitation strike. They would kill off the 3 leaders of newcomers.
Molt knew taking over Paradise city was impossible even though Zorzal argued otherwise. But killing off their leaders wasn't. Then came the part of the warrior bunny guerrillas. The Hayro tribe had already tricked them into launching a full scale guerrilla offensive on their former capital and smaller settlements.
Then came his son's part. He would march his army to the former warrior bunny capital and mop up the weakened newcomer and warrior guerrilla bands. His son was more than eager to do this part even more so when he heard that Tyuule was still living in the former capital.
The kings of the vassal states were for the most part to act as a reserve and backup if Formal, who was leading the assault through the gate when it opened, needed reinforcements. Though 20,000 soldiers from the vassal states would be utilized during the Christmas offensive.
Molt after the meeting with the generals read the report of the estimated number of troops that would partake in his offensive.
80,000 Sadera legions under Zorzal for his march on the former warrior bunny capital.
20,000 troops from the vassal states under duke Ligu would march to take the large former warrior bunny settlement of Narna.
1,000 members of the Hayro tribe were spread out an currently attempting to infiltrate various newcomer positions. with 700 of these in their capital and the other 300 spread out along multiple small settlements.
100,000 troops under count Formal ready to march to Alnus hill when the gate opened.
200,000 troops from the Vassal states serving in reserve for Formal under the Duke of Algu.
150,000 legions under Molts personal command spread out around Sadera as a reserve and defensive force.
800 knights of the rose order who were to defend Itálica from bandit raids due to most of Italica's men being drafted into the legions for the offensive.
Finally the 840 members of the warrior bunny guerrilla bands who the Hayro tribe had manipulated into attack the former warrior bunny capital under a warrior named Delilah (Yup she's back)
This was the amount of men and people in general he had at his disposal for this grand undertaking. Falmart would be saved from the menace that is the newcomers and their organizations the Global Occult Coalition, the Chaos insurgency, and their heretics and false god worshippers the church of the broken god.
These 3 organizations would be crushed under the boots of his legions. Falmart would be saved.
Falmart. Somewhere in the forest. 665 imperial time.
Delilah's Hayro tribe allies had promised to assist her in her retaking of the warrior bunny capital from those human filth. She would lead her 840 warriors on their assault on the former capital.
The main targets were the Dwarven embassy, the former queens palace (It was rebuilt as a museum to display warrior bunny history by the church of the broken god.), and finally Tyuules house to kill the cowardly queen.
Each target held its own reasons for an attack. The attack on the dwarven embassy by her warriors would scare the dwarves from working with those newcomers. The attack on the former queen's palace and taking it would symbolize the return of the old ways. Finally her leading her 40 best warriors to kill off the former queen would wipe the shame she had brought on her people by giving in.
400 warriors would attack the embassy and the other 400 would attack the imperial palace.
The last 40 as she had mentioned before would follow her on her attack on Tyuules house.
All this would culminate in her people fully revolting against their oppressors. She was eager to get this on with but the Hayro tribe suggested an attack on the newcomers holiday they call christmas because most of their soldiers would be too relaxed or off enjoying the holidays for there to be any organized resistance.
This was a reasonable suggestion and would lessen her forced losses to those newcomers black rods which she wanted some of her warriors to get ahold of.
She just had to be patient and train her warriors on counter measures for their enemies' advancement in technology for now.
Falmart. Paradise city . 1 AEE.
A month had gone by since my visit to the dwarves and Uriel called me on a daily basis to ask questions and to talk. It helped a lot in terms of staving off loneliness. She had sent me pictures of her latest attempt to replicate our weapons.
While it definitely wasn't a successful attempt she had made another musket. I had to give it to her because she was stubborn. While I had advised her to get some more sleep this came from the guy who had shit sleep so I doubt my advice has much weight behind it.Either way she played off my advice.
I am currently preparing for another meeting with the other 2 GOI leaders. I took an Antidepressant pill and drove over to our HQ. I entered the room where the engineer and Robert were waiting for me.
"Glad you came. Now take a seat we have much to discuss." The engineer said. The engineer still wore the typical chaos insurgent gas mask to hide his identity. "I see you in a much better mood than usual, Clark. Is your chronic depression and PTSD wearing off." Mused Robert being a jackass in general. "Yes I've been taking my fair share of Antidepressants Robert can we get on to business." I Said sharply.
I had no fucking intention of sitting through another bullshit meeting of playful banter and both of them being jackasses.
"So on to the main topic of this meeting. Should we start allowing the warrior bunny's to form their own police force and to lift our previous restrictions on them." Said the engineer crossing his arms and leaning back on the chair.
"I don't mind the idea as long as we hand the rabbits outdated gear or just pistols and low caliber weapons and that we still keep GOC and insurgents to still act as an occupation force" I said. I personally didn't mind the idea but of course I still didn't feel comfortable enough to lift all restrictions on their kind after what they did.
"Makes sense we can't give them our latest weapon. How is progress on the airfield for the former warrior bunny capital coming along by the way?" Robert asked me. "So far so good we should have it done by late November." I answered.
The GOC had placed funds and materials into the creation of an airfield for the warrior bunny capital. We hoped to make a civilian airport so people could travel from paradise city to the warrior bunny capital easier and Vice Versa.
This of course all went back to our plan to industrialize warrior bunny land. We had begun genetic modifications for their race increasing the chances of a male bunny from 5% to 20%.
Along with this the GOC had also modified their fertility on engineers request so the chances of them having quadruplets increased to 40% so we could give their population a boost from all those years of war with Sadera.
"Now for our next topic gentlemen. The Church requests that it can begin sending missionaries to convert the dwarves." Asked Robert.
The Engineer eyes him suspiciously and I physically and mentally sighed. "Define convert. Let us not forget how the church converted an entire city once when we were back on earth by tainting its water supply with the clock 's virus and how the foundation and the GOC had to deal with the mini apocalypse your organization created out of that." I said, sighing and not trusting a word coming out of Robert's mouth.
I had completely forgotten we had to deal with bullshit like this in our meetings. "The church is beyond that my friends. We now are solely focused on the defense of humanity." Robert said calmly.
Now I smelled some high level bullshit coming from him and I hated it. "Oh really explain the fuckery you've been pulling with the wariror bunnies." I said I was pissed. "They agreed to convert to our religion and Mekhane." Robert said, defending himself. "Convert is one way to say manipulated." Joked and mused the Engineer.
I hated the fact the Engineer was fucking joking about the fact that the church was trying to play fucking god and convert people. The church was still sticking to their bullshit ways even though now that we had left earth there was no way they could get the pieces needed to assemble their god. So by this point they were just fucking around the populace.
"Either way put a pause to your conversion operations and your request to convert the dwarves has been denied in every possible way." Said the Engineer, finally being more serious about this shit.
"Now on a more light hearted topic. We'll be granting our personnel leave for the holiday of Christmas, the Engineer said in a calm and happy manner. "Sounds lovely." I said genuinely. "Of course we will be taking our leaves as well. Now our leaves will last until New Year's Day while our men's leaves will end the day after." Said the engineer.
While I thought it too early to be talking about Christmas, it was September. It didn't really matter. A nice vacation seemed like something to look forward. I might use it to visit my best and currently only true friend Uriel.
"While the church doesn't celebrate the holidays of non believers. But a break would be nice." Robert said starting with a passive aggressive tone and then ending in a thankful tone.
"Glad we got this out of the way. Meeting dismissed gentlemen." Said the Engineer.
The meeting left me with a bittersweet feeling. We were getting a much needed break for Christmas but the church was still trying to pull its usual bullshit which I hated.
When I was back at Ganzir and fighting sairs by side with my former enemies I had respect for the church and them fighting alongside our men to defend humanity for one last time.
Now that I'm a general, a politician, and the leader of the Global Occult Coalition I realized the shitty kinds of people that ran the church. People who twisted their gods words to gain power. The insurgency I have a bit more respect for since they at least changed their ways a bit and they have moved on from being a terrorist group.
I drove back to my apartment. I wanted to coordinate a meet up for Christmas with Uriel. I called her on the Phone. "Hey good news I'm having a break from the 25th of December to Jan 1st want a chance to visit my city."
Falmart. Imperial Palace. 665 imperial time.
Zorzal had just finished another awful love session with one of his concubines. Ugh why couldn't they be like Tyuule he thought. They lacked her beauty and the aura to be saved.
Still he was eager to ruin the newcomers' pathetic holiday. They needed to face the wrath of his mighty legions. Oh how they would quiver in fear. He would put an end to the cowards and take what was rightfully his.
Zorzal was happy that his father had given him the honor of assaulting the warrior bunny capital. He would march in as a hero and liberator.
He was the great prince Zorzal of Sadera. He was even happier that his cowardly sister who played soldier with her little order would be too busy playing soldier with her rose order defending Italica from bandits to take part in this glorious offensive.
Everything was going his way. His older brother Diablo was too busy in the senate to take part in this silly offensive as well. Something he was glad because his brother would have given him annoying restrictions to what he could do.
Of course nothing would be complete without his best friend Herm Fule Maio a man who his sister had not only hazed to allow him into the rose order (This is something that happens in the manga and generally leads to herm hating Pina and also leads him to develop massive insecurities that he tries to hide by acting pompous which leads to his downfall.) but she had also then kicked out.
His sister truly was a fool. Herm was a loyal ally and a great general in Zorzal eyes so his sister had seriously blundered by making an enemy of his friend.
Zorzal decided to help his friend's wounded pride by giving him 24,000 legionaries to command so he could assault one of the new cities those new comer heathens were building. It was apparently called Dien Bien Phu ( This city has a large Vietnamese majority thus the city was named after the greatest victory in Vietnamese history.)
The newcomers had strange and pathetic names for their cities. He heard no glory in that name. Still he couldn't wait to crush those fools that resisted his fathers glorious empire.
