Ganzir. July 18th. 2020.

"Alright let's move" I yelled to my men as we began to pull back towards the center city. The foundations of SCPs were upon us, and we ran like madmen towards the gate. One of our guys was nabbed by several with many voices instances and was being eaten alive. as he was, he gave us a thumbs up as encouragement as he was ripped apart.

Soon we saw a similar sight down the line. The guys in the back knowing they weren't gonna make it bought us time to rush to the gate as they were swarmed. Me and the lads were swatting away or burning scp 150 instances as they swarmed us trying to burrow into our skin. if they got into one of our guys' skins, they pulled out their pistol and shot themselves.

Bang. Bang. Bang. 3 guys had stopped and blown their brains out. We finally reach the gate. "Alright members of the UNGOC with me buy the Other GOIs time to get through the gate. "I barked at my men. "Yessir." they responded in unison. We began to lay waste to the advancing foundation MTFs and SCPs. I don't know how many we killed as we mowed them down by the hundreds

I could see director fines office in the distance and scp 2191 (vampires pretty much and big lampreys pretty much) were climbing their way to the top of the building as she fired down on them with a squad of guys in mech suits.

I looked back at the gate to see if the other GOIs had gone through. It seems they had. I took out my phone. "Alright scanning time, give me your id. And make it quick the foundation shits head are upon us. "I said. One by one each of my men handed me their Id's that I scanned with my phone if my phone beeped, that means they had been chosen to cross over if not they stayed behind. Out of the 50 remaining men in my company only 9 had been verified to crossover to the other side. "Ok you 9 go." I barked as they ran through the Gate looking back regretfully.

"Ok one of you lads scan my card." I said as I whipped out my Id card as gunshots continued to echo through the city. One of my men scanned my card. The phone beeped. "Wait what! How am I allowed to go? I don't want to leave you behind guys. Someone else will go in my place." I said. Why was I chosen to live and not them? Why? Didn't matter anyways as 2 of my men grabbed me before I could put up any resistance and threw me into the gate. "Sorry Lieutenant, its protocol." They said as I was thrown into the gate.

"No please. I don't want to leave you lads behind." I screamed as the gate began to close. I had no choice by this point the gate seemed to be fading out of existence and I ran to the other side without looking back.

I finally made it to the other side after some running. I was greeted by a sight I hadn't seen in the past 15 hours. Sunlight. Jesus the land was beautiful. Millions upon millions of civilians were sitting down and crying and thanking God for escaping. I saw the insurgents and church members doing the same. I fell on my knees. Why had I had to live, and my lads had to die.

I saw several others of the chosen few GOC members who had been chosen to live and sent through the gate. Many were crying and breaking down in tears. I was close to having a similar reaction to them.

Many questions other than why I had been chosen to live floated in my head. I wondered if God had played a part in why the gate had ended up in this beautiful landscape. It seemed untouched by civilization. Whether it was God or some unknown power they had taken pity on humanity and had seemingly given us a clean slate to start on.

Falmart. 1 AEE (After the End of Earth) earth time. 665 imperial time.

Manroe watched as the Engineer stood on a rock on the hill and prepared to address the millions of people on the hill. We were all battered bruised and traumatized. he watched on as the Engineer began his speech.

"17 hours ago, Ganzir fell, and we made it across the gate. We have been to hell and back. However, as through every major disaster in our history humanity endured. When the horror of the foundation was released on humankind our species endured. Now we will endure once more. To the remaining members of the insurgency, the GOC, and the church we are no longer separate factions. We cannot let bitter rivalries get between us again. The Insurgency, the church, and the GOC pledges to die in the dark so humanity can live in the light."

He finished his short speech but by this point we all agreed with him. Petty differences had now been a thing of the past. The engineer looked out and laid his eyes on a mountain range and the forests in the distance. "This hill isn't large enough for all of us. We make for the mountains and forests to the northwest." The Engineer said.

Thus, began humanity's long march to shelter.

The Engineer took careful count of the number of materials and made a rough estimate of the amount of people he would be leading towards the mountains. So far the remnants of humanity had.

567 anomalous weapons. (Most of these weapons were handled by the GOC.)

10 replicators. (Each replicator can replicate one specific thing, guns, ammo, building materials, etc. GOC)

enough food for 4 days. (If rationed properly)

5 military trucks. (GOC)

10 vans (Chaos insurgents)

23 civilian cars and trucks.

7 armored Humvees. (US)

11 armored Toyotas (Chadian and Taliban owned)

2 Abrams main battle tanks. (US)

1 leopard (Poland)

3 M42 dusters. (An outdated anti-air tank. Vietnam)

4 self-propelled Anti air guns. (GOC)

3 full tanks of water.

1 million extra layers of clothing.

50,000 pounds of medical gear.

50 large canisters of fuel and oil.

20 anomalous scanners. (Used to see if an object or person has anomalous properties. GOC)

5 vials of the clockworths virus. (Church of the broken god)

70 cybernetic parts. (Church of the broken god.)

12 memory chips (These contain the history of earth, music, and several gigabytes worth of video games and books.)

5 TVs

60 generators.

1,200 phones

157 creations by wondertainment. (Wondertainment)

Roughly 80,000 soldiers of the remaining militaries of the world.

5,000 members of the Chaos insurgency.

2,000 members of the Taliban and other terrorist organizations that joined in the defense of Ganzir.

1,000 members of the church of the broken god.

500 members of the UNGOC

Roughly 2 million civilians that escaped Ganzir.

One thing became clear to the engineer after reviewing the supplies the remnants of humanity had. They need to gather food. He sent out several of his insurgents on hunting missions into the forests as human ties battered remains part marched to the forests and mountains.

"Sir permission to speak freely." Asked one of his insurgents. "Granted." he responded. "I think we are being watched." Said the insurgent nervously. "I know tell the others to get their weapons combat ready and to prepare for the worst on our march. We've already dealt with enought shit the men are granted to shot first ask question later if whatever is watching us tries to fuck with us." He said grumbling. "Understood sir." Said the insurgent.

Delilah watched from the trees hidden from sight of the invaders. She had honestly no idea if they were invading or not. They had marched into warrior bunny territory but unlike the imperials who were clearly preparing for conflict these strangers seemed to be simply walking through without any idea of really where the borders were.

It didn't surprise her. She had to admit this was part of her species. The warrior bunny tribes were often nomadic with entire villages simply moving around. This made it very hard to identify proper borders so she couldn't be totally mad at the strange men for simply having a lack of idea of where borders were.

She certainly wouldn't pick a fight with these men. Wait there were woman and children. This shit down the idea of trying to get some of the members or her tribe to launch and ambush.

The children and women on their part seemed traumatized. She moves stealthily (or so she thought) through the forest. She save several metal horseless carriages making strange noises as they moved through the forest and men in all black with a mask on there face, men with blue helmets with a pentagram on it, men who seemed half man half machine and carrying massive battle hammers, and more men with a variety of different colored uniforms.

It was a strange sight to behold most certainly and the column of these men stretched on for around 12 miles. When she reached the end of the column (she still thought she was hidden from sight) she found out that these men seem to have come from Alnus hill possibly.

What bugged her the most is that these men seemed to have come out of nowhere. Based on their body language they looked more like refugees than actual invaders and they didn't seem to have sorts and shields. They were carrying black rods around so maybe they were magic users.

She did consider the following. She would inform Tyuule about these men and then to prevent the invasion of their homeland by the imperials they would bait the imperials into attacking these mysterious men and women.

She still thought back to the thousands of children that were with them and shuttered at what the imperials would do with said children if her plan came into effect and they did attack these people but it was a worthy sacrifice to prevent an imperial invasion. Plus they probably were as bad as the imperials so they deserved it. Right?

I walked along side the my fellow GOC personnel. Funny how we were now being lead by the leader of the chaos insurgency.

The column stretched out for miles upon miles. My part of the column had just gotten out of the woods after a force march. We saw the mountains close up for the first time. They look beautiful along with that we saw that the front of the column had march into a massive valley in between two small mountains.

Once we entered the valley it was a sight to behold. Jesus Christ this reality had been touched by god.

The valley had a river running in it with several lovely meadows and a couple of trees in the mix. Flowers bloomed and I saw a deer or two walking about without any fear of the many civilians and military personnel inside the valley.

Heck one of the children began to pet a deer as it ate some grass. It was a lovely sight indeed and I saw the first genuine smiles since this whole mess began.

It was clear by this point that we'd be settling here. Some of my boys in the GOCs engineering core (well what remained of it.) began to map out the valley for the construction of the city. By night fall the last of the column and vehicles had arrived.

The last to arrive were the hunting parties we had sent out to forage for food. This place had plenty of game to hunt and combined with the rations me and 2 million survivors of Ganzir wouldn't be going hungry any time soon.
