"The Civilians had begun to shower us with kisses as we walked through the city." A GRU P operative in his memoirs.

Falmart. GRU P command tent. 9 pm. December 27th. 1 AEE.

Boris and his organization GRU P had been assigned to retake the city of Narna. This city was really all the empire had to show for their failed offensive and Clark wanted the GRU P to rip it out of their hands. The city had fallen due to lack of security and the general belief that the empire's legions weren't insane enough to walk through a freezing blizzard to get to the city.

Sadly this was proven wrong. Boris had currently 1,500 troops at his disposal, 30 tanks, and several other combat vehicles. The city itself was divided by the Tippett river.

The imperials had made the curious choice to instead of raising the city as they usually did and occupy it and dig in. Either way the city would be retaken and its 5,000 inhabitants freed from Saderan oppression.

Boris planned to split his forces in 3. 900 men under the command of Colonel Dimitri would lead the tanks against the northern defenses of the city. 300 men led by himself would cross the river and push into the city from the east. And finally 200 men under Cornel Alexi would be paradropped into the inner city to take the temple of Emory which was where the imperial army headquarters was located.

Now Ariel recon had reported that the imperials had dug earthworks in front of the cities already existing small wooden walls. The main issue facing Boris forces was urban warfare. They wanted to limit civilian casualties.

The imperial army was numbered to be an estimated 20,000 strong. Boris hoped that the imperial commander gambled most of his men in a defense of the walls and the outer earth works.

But then again he could only hope if civilians died in this battle it was a worthy sacrifice for liberation

Falmart. Temple of Emory. 11 pm. December 27th. 665 imperial time.

"Sir our scouts have reported the enemies beginning their advance on the city." Said one of the Imperial Legates Legionaries.

"Our outer earthworks won't last long against those horseless carriages. Tell the men in the outer earth to buy the main army time to position itself in the city. The battle may be lost but we will make them pay for every inch of the city. Use the citizens as human shields or kill them. They have no use for us." Said the legate

"Yes sir." Said the Legionary.

Falmart. Outside of Narna. Battle group 1. 11:05 pm. December 27th. 1 AEE.

Leon watched as the tanks began to advance toward the earthworks. He and his comrades advanced forward. Some were riding on the tanks themselves. Others rode on the Armored Humvees. He was on one of the lead Humvees.

Then the arrows begin to fly. A rain of arrows erupted from the earthworks and his Humvees machine gunner answered by firing the 50 Cal. He heard the tanks begin to unleash their payload on the earthworks and the yells of the horrified Saderans. "Ok disembark and take those earthworks comrades." Said his Sergeant as he and his comrades in his Humvees got out and ran forward.

This was repeated by the other Humvees as they ran towards the battered earth works. Well they tried to run through the 3 foot snow made it hard to do that. They were soon upon the dazed imperials trying to recover from the point blank tank shells landing on their earth works.

They mercilessly gunned them down but then came under fire from the archers on the walls. Several of his comrades were hit by the arrows but they never sustained any serious wounds. He quickly killed off a couple of the archers on the small wooden walls with his AK as the rest were dispatched by tank shells blowing large holes in the walls.

He and his sqaud quickly advanced through the holes but almost immediately came under fire from crossbow men and archers hiding in the buildings of the city. "Ah fuck." Yelped one of his comrades in pain as he got an arrow to the shoulder and was dragged off for medical attention.

"Mage fucking look out-." Screamed one of his comrades before a ball of acid was sent flying their way he managed to just barely get out of the way. Others weren't so lucky and he saw two of his comrades screaming in agony as the acid ate through their skin exposing their bones.

It was a gruesome sight and produced an awful smell. Arrows and balls of fire rained down at them as they found themselves briefly pinned down behind the brown down walls. He returned fire now and then tried to get a good hit on the defenders hiding in the houses.

Soon the T-90 tanks moved up and began to shell the houses with the defenders in them turning them into heaps of rubble. He and his unit pushed up along with the other units and once again came under arrow fire as they tried to make their way past the houses that the tanks had reduced to rubble.

Several legionaries threw their spears and shields at them from the top of buildings before being utterly mowed down. One of these spears got a hit and impaled a man straight through the chest killing him.

He a couple of guys manage to make their way to one of the houses that had the imperials in them. "Ok get ready to breach. Three, two one, Breach!" He yelled as he kicked down the door and found a sword instantly swung at him by an imperial guarding the door. He dodged it and rifle butted the man in the head before shooting him dead. "Ok, two of you secure the first floor, the rest with me." Boris said as he and his squad made their way up to the stairs.

He could hear gunfire from the other buildings as a similar situation unfolded in them. He tossed a grenade up the stairs and it exploded killing two imperials in wait. He and his men rushed up and quickly captured the one Saderan soldier that quickly raised his hands in surrender.

He looked out one of the windows and saw some of his comrades in the other houses dropping dead imperials out from the windows of the second or the rare 3rd floor. "Ay how many imperialist rats were in your building." Jokes one of his comrades yelling across to him from the building his squad took. "5 I think." Yelled Boris back.

"Ha, mine and more. I got 10 in mine. Whichever squad gets the most kills gets free drinks and some bonus money." His comrade yelled back. "You're on comrade." Boris yelled back.

His squad exited the house and saw the tanks begin the enter the city. They advanced at a leisurely pace as one tank with an unnecessary level of destruction but with a fine sense of theater busted through the remaining parts of the wooden walls that were still standing.

He heard Gun fire from deeper in the city meaning the Paratroopers must have dropped in.

Falmart. Narna. Paratrooper battle group. 11:27 pm. December 27th. 1 AEE.

Cornel Alexi landed on the roof off one of the many houses dotting the city. It was more of a large town than city really. Either way the temple of Emory was in sight. His omen had more luck in their landing spots and had landed in the streets themselves and weren't stuck on roofs like he was.

Alexi managed to somehow climb down without breaking his neck which was a miracle since the house was slippery due to the snowfall. The whole surprise part of the operation was ruined by the fan fair they got from the warrior bunny civilians that had woken up to see him and his men dropping in.

It looked a bit like there's pictures of the liberation of Paris. His men were receiving hugs, kisses, and thank you from the civilian's. Oh boy would the men of the other battle groups be jealous. Any legionary's that tried to intervene were shot on sight by his men. He heard gunfire from the outskirts of the city and it seemed that the assault on the outer walls were going smoothly.

His men after walking past the large crowd that had gathered around them began to push towards the temple. He had most of his men begin to secure the area around the temple while he took 20 men to storm the temple itself. He saw some civilians watching from their homes as his men prepared to storm the temple.

The temple was huge on its part though based on what Intelligence had told him it was just one big room inside it for worshippers so it wouldn't be a painful room by room ordeal much to his happiness. No barricades had been erected since the imperials hadn't expected an assault from the sky.

The 6 guards outside the temple were shot and his men rushed in finding a very surprised imperial legate and his staff.

"Put your fucking weapons down and get on the fucking floor." He shouted in Saderan as he and his men pointed their Aks at them. The legate reached for his sword to which he promptly shot him 3 times. "Anyone else wants to try that." He hissed at the staff. They nodded in no and he and his men marched them out.

He then saw the tanks from the first battle group appear out of several of the streets. "How were the fighting comrades?" He asked. "Wharf at first they pinned us down for a good few seconds at the wall and then a couple of streets but after that the imperial army began to bug out as the Americans would say." Joked one of the operatives riding one of the tanks.

"Any losses." Alexi asked. "4 dead and 8 wounded that's about it." The man on the tank responded. "Don't forget about the burn marks on the tanks from the mages fucking fire balls." Said the tank driver joking as he popped his head from out of the hatch.

"Any news from Boris." Asked Alexi. "Yes. They apparently found a large portion of the imperial army fucking deserting." Said the soldier on the tank laughing. "Did they seriously not want to fight us?" Asked Alexi amused. "Well 2,000 of them certainly didn't." Joked the tank driver.

"They'll be sent to the Gulags soon enough." Joked Alexi.

"How does Stalingrad sound as a name for a Gulag?" Asked the soldier on the tank. "Lovely." Responded Alexi smirking.

"I swear like the imperials just gave up halfway through the battle." Said the tank driver annoyed.''Did you want more action." Asked Alexi. "Of course I did." Said the tank driver as his crew laughed from the inside of the tank.

"Alexi!" He heard as he saw Boris riding a tank as it came rumbling through the east side of the city. "Boris I heard you found a large group of imperials deserting." Said Alexi joking. "Yes I did." Said Boris smirking as he jumped off the tank.

"Most of the city has been liberated; this was a very quick operation." Said Alexi. "Yes most of the imperial army has retreated into the forest to the west of the city or have just surrendered." Said Boris. "The GOC is going to be happy with us." Said Alexi. "Yes indeed. So we don't have enough room in our transport trucks to carry the 4,000 prisoners we've taken so bring that number down to 2,000 if you catch my drift." Said Boris as he took out a cigarette. "Yes sir." Said Alexi.

"Boys, we have a job to do. We are splitting the prisoners into two groups to come and help me." Alexi said. His Paratroopers who had been fraternizing with the civilians or had been eating some rations.

They began to line up the Saderans they had captured and gathered them with the Saderans the other two battle groups had taken prisoner.

"Ok my fine gentlemen I'm not sure if you all have played rock, paper, scissors but you'll be taught how. You'll each choose a partner to compete with if you win against your partner you'll get to be in the going home group with will be matched to the woods before being released to walk back to your native lands." Alexi addressed the thousands of prisoners which had gathered.

He then went on to explain how you play rock, paper, scissors to the POWs. "Do you all understand?" He said to the Saderan POWs. "What if we or our partner loses?" A Saderan legionary asked. "If you lose you'll stay a prisoner simply. Now choose your partner." Alexi said.

The Saderan POWs began to of course partner up with anyone they hated in their army to try to beat them so they could be released. His men kept a close watch on them. After around 30 minutes or so of organizing the winners and losers into two groups he then addressed to the winners. "Congrats you'll get to go home. Men guide them outside the city." Alexi said as his men began to guide the winners out of the city. He followed soon after.

Once the winners group prisoners were out of the city he said. "You can now walk home." The prisoners began to immediately walk down the rode and cheer as they were free.

Alexi said to his men in Russian "Bump the prisoners off."

They nodded and opened fire and the prisoners walking home. Hundreds were mowed down before they even released what was happening. Several ram into the woods but many were killed before they could pull that off.

"That's what you get for attacking us on Christmas you rapist pigs." Said one of his men spitting on the body of a dead Saderan. Alexi counted some 1,471 dead POWs. Alexi didn't care if the ones who survived spread the tale of their harrowing event, fear would break them more and demoralize the Saderan army further.

"Ok burn the bodies and let's head back." Alexi said as his men began to pile up the bodies and dump gasoline on them.

Falmart. GOI HQ. December 28th. 1 AEE.

Uriel had left to go back to the Dwarven kingdom this morning. The JSDF forces had destroyed the army of the imperial vassal states at Alnus hill and seemed primed to make a move on Italica.

One of their recon teams were spotted engaging the massive red dragon and taking out its arm with an RPG. They had also met up with a type black anomalous threat (GOC code word for Demi gods or anomalies that had a connection to a god of some sorts.).

The type black in question was a gothic Lolita Girl with a massive Halbert confirming my belief that the gods of this world were perverts. I'd have to send the UIU after them, I joked to myself.

It was funny how the JSDF were riding high thinking they were the most technologically advanced group in this world while my men were using stealth drones to spy on them.

They'd probably make their move on Italica which was currently under siege by bandits and conveniently had princess Pina Co lada defending it, one of the targets for my operation to emotionally cripple Molt. If the JSDF headed to Italica I wouldn't give the green flag for the assassination of her as not to create a bad impression.

CI decided that he needed to form a task force of operatives from ORIA, UIU, GRU P, hai organization, and those psychopaths in the pentagram who I was sure were readying some kind of Cognito or BIO Hazard to experiment on the POWs in the camps.

Now of course like he had with the Dwarves he wanted to play a part in first contact.

Also I had to do something about his rapidly worsening mental state. The nightmares and auditory hallucinations I was now starting to suffer from had gotten worse since Uriel left.

Ugh fuck my mental state. I had to deal with my PTSD, internal feelings, and running an organization at the same time.

"How did Al fine do it?" was all I could ask myself.
