Anirudh’s Wrath

Avni sat in the living room, arms crossed, glaring at the floor. Across from her, Anirudh stood with his hands on his hips, seething.

"You escaped from the house in the middle of the night," he growled. "Do you even realize how dangerous that was?!"

Avni rolled her eyes. "I wasn’t kidnapped, Anirudh. I was just at a party."

Anirudh’s nostrils flared. "That’s not the point!"

Ayush and Aryan stood off to the side, trying their best not to laugh.

"Man, she’s got guts," Aryan whispered.

Ayush smirked. "She’s playing with fire."

Anirudh turned to them. "And you two! You knew she ran away and still let her go!"

Ayush raised his hands. "We tried to stop her—"

Aryan grinned. "Okay, when you say it like that, it sounds bad."

Anirudh ran a hand through his hair, trying to compose himself. Then, in a calm but deadly tone, he spoke.

"You all are grounded. No phones, no going out, no fun. And Avni, if you try sneaking out again—"

Avni smirked. "You’ll what? Lock me in a dungeon?"

Anirudh’s eyes darkened. "Try me."

A slow smirk formed on his lips.

And he had plans.
