Breaking the Rules

Anirudh Oberoi was a man of discipline. Rules were meant to be followed, and order was the foundation of everything.

But today, he had broken his own rule.

Arnav stood before him, his face a mask of cold fury.

Ayush and Aryan sat nearby, watching in stunned silence. Avni, still sore from her training, leaned against a pillar, smirking. "Well, well, well. Looks like Mr. Perfect finally messed up."

Anirudh shot her a glare, but he knew she was right.

He had crossed a line.

And now, he had to pay for it.

The Punishment Begins

Arnav’s voice was sharp. "Fifty push-ups. Right now."

Anirudh’s jaw clenched. "Seriously?"

Arnav’s gaze darkened. "Sixty."

Ayush whistled. "Oof. He’s not playing around today."

Anirudh didn’t argue. He simply got down on the ground and started.

One. Two. Three.

His muscles burned, but he didn’t falter.

Fourteen. Fifteen.

Avni folded her arms. "Wow. For once, I actually feel bad for you."

Ayush grinned. "Nah, this is karma."

Thirty. Thirty-one.

Sweat dripped from Anirudh’s forehead, but he didn’t stop.

Aryan leaned in. "I think he’s dying."

Avni snorted. "Nah, his ego won’t let him quit."

Forty-nine. Fifty.

Anirudh pushed up for the final time, his arms trembling slightly.

He stood, breathing hard but keeping his posture straight.

Arnav gave a single nod. "Next time, follow the rules."

Anirudh didn’t reply. He simply walked away.

As he passed, Avni grinned. "Hey, Anirudh bhai, how’s it feel to be on the other side?"

He shot her a deadly glare. "Shut up."

She laughed.

Ayush clapped him on the back. "Don’t worry, bro. You survived. Barely."

Anirudh sighed.

One thing was clear—he was never making that mistake again.
