It's been a week since our meeting with Aditya and his family and i got to know that they shifted back here, so basically aditya and his family used to live just beside our house but then shifted to the other city and now they are here again,
Well i was happy because my bond with Aditya was always good . He understands me like a true friend, our previous conversation about him was still fresh in my mind, and in this past week Aditya is doing everything to cheer me up,
Just like right now, he has come to pick me up After university, i sat inside the car without any questions,
He started driving the car but just then i realized that he is not taking the route which leads to my house but instead he took a different route, i turned my questioning gaze at him.
He looked at me and signal me to calm down and i did,
He stopped the car at some i assumed infront of a building which is not fully build, it was still under construction,
"Why are we here?," i questioned him,
"I will kill you and bury you here so that no one can find you," He said, i snickers.
"What was my biggest dream in childhood do you remember?," he asked with, his eyes glistening with excitement,
And i tried to think, what was his biggest dream,
Oh yeah,
"you wanted to open a biggest showroom with every car," I told him, he nodded and look infront.
"You still didn't answer my question," I nudged him,
He smiled and said "i did,"
I was confused but then it hit me, this building, is he fulfilling his dream, my eyes widened and i could feel the proud feeling inside of my chest,
He sensing my reaction chuckled and took me inside,
I gasped as i looked around everything, the building was under construction from outside but from inside it was well furnished, the colours, the interior was the same we once discussed,
I could not help but hug him ao tightly as it was his biggest dream from childhood. He always was so passionate about things,
He wrapped his one arm around my waist, hugging me lightly,
I broke the hug and smiled at him, "Congratulations, i am so proud of you," i told him, he smiled,
He started giving me a whole tour of this showroom
I was immensely proud of him. Aditya came from a modest, middle-class background and had a small, close-knit family consisting of his mother, his sister, and his grandmother. His father had passed away when he was just 12 years old, and I still vividly remember the moment when he broke down, hugging Aviyaan, his emotions pouring out. That moment marked a turning point-Aditya took on the role of the family's pillar, stepping up as the eldest son with incredible strength and responsibility.
And now looking at him, accomplishing everything with his hard work and consistency, i was so contended,
After everything we once again sat in the car and now he was driving me home, he asked me if i want to eat something from outside but i told him that i will eat in the house and invited him as well, as it's almost lunch time, He told me to not tell anyone about the showroom yet as he wanted to surprise everyone and showroom was still under construction,
I nodded!
He stopped the car infront of my house and i trekked my way inside, him trailing behind me,
"Aditya, come beta," Shreya Aunty's voice reached my ear.
Aditya went towards her touching he feet, and she caressed his head blessing him.
"Ye aap dono kahan ghoom rahe ho akele akele,"
"Where are you two wandering around alone?," Sharanvi asked, picking the cucumber from the plate and eating it,
"Nowhere," I said and sat beside her signalling aditya to come and eat,
I glanced at Sharanvi, who was staring towards the stairs with a sly smirk on her face, her eyebrow raised as she winked at him. I followed her gaze in that direction and spotted Aviyaan standing there, a scowl etched deeply into his face.
Ignoring him, I shifted my attention back to my food just as Shreya Aunty's voice broke through my thoughts.
"When is your appointment with the doctor next?" she asked.
"Uh... tomorrow," Shanaya replied casually.
Shreya Aunty nodded thoughtfully, and I looked over at Aditya, who was staring at me with a puzzled expression. I leaned in closer to him and whispered the information. As soon as he processed it, he choked on his food, and I couldn't help but face-palm myself in frustration.
His eyes widened as he looked at me. "Really?" he asked in disbelief, and I gave him a simple nod.
"Aviyaan, we haven't seen Ranbir in so long," Aadhav Uncle said, pulling me out of my thoughts. Now that he mentioned it, I couldn't recall the last time I had seen Ranbir Bhaiya either. I looked up at Aviyaan, and I swear I saw something in his gaze-something raw, something unspoken. Anger. Rage. It vanished quickly, but it unsettled me. Shanaya's face went pale at his words, though she managed to pull herself together quickly.
Aviyaan cleared his throat, attempting to sound nonchalant. "He is busy," he said, his tone clipped.
Shreya Aunty chimed in, "Tell him to come and have dinner with us someday," and Aviyaan gave a quick nod in response.
Once dinner was over, I made my way to my room to change and freshen up. After completing my routine, I stepped out of my room, only to feel a firm hand close around my wrist, pulling me into the shadows of a nearby corner.
"What are you doing?" I demanded, struggling to free myself from the grip.
"Why were you so close with him?" Aviyaan's voice was sharp, intense.
"What the hell is your problem? Just leave me alone!" I snapped, wiggling and attempting to pull away. Before he could respond, a strong, forceful hand gripped his shoulder and yanked him back. I stumbled slightly and turned to see the source: Aditya.
"Mad," Aditya muttered, his voice firm as he took my hand in his and began leading me away from the confrontation.
Why was Aviyaan acting this way? This wasn't like him at all. I thought back to all the good memories we had shared-the laughter, the conversations, the bond-and struggled to make sense of this sudden, aggressive behavior.
Aditya took me toward Sharanvi, and I looked up at her, uncertainty clouding my thoughts. I still hadn't asked her why Aviyaan wanted to speak with her. If it were important, she would have told me by now, wouldn't she?
I walked toward them, and Sharanvi stepped in closer, her gaze scanning me from head to toe. I stared back at her, confused, unsure of what she was trying to figure out.
She reached out, her fingers brushing against the pendant around my neck-the one I wore nearly every day. It was the first gift Aviyaan had ever given me. I knew I shouldn't wear it anymore. It was a constant reminder of him, of feelings I knew I needed to let go of, but I couldn't bring myself to take it off. It had become a habit, something I wasn't strong enough to break. Taking it off would feel like completely erasing him from my life, and I wasn't ready for that. The day i would take that pendant off would be the day i would forget about him completely.
"You wear this all the time?" Sharanvi asked, her voice soft, inquisitive, and laced with something mysterious.
I nodded hesitantly.
"Oh," she said, her tone holding a kind of knowing intrigue that left me unsettled.
Her smile was sly, enigmatic, and she turned away, disappearing into the crowd without another word.
I stood there, staring at her retreating figure, a strange unease gnawing at me. What did she mean by that? What did she know? And why did Aviyaan's strange behavior linger in my thoughts, twisting and knotting my mind?
"Leave her Elaina, she is psycho," Shahmeer said, but i just couldn't shake of the feeling that have been erupted inside me,
~✧♡❥❥♡✧~ Update!!! What could be the reason behind Sharanvi's this strange behavior ??? Do vote and comment See you bubye... Love you 🌷
