Aishwarya's pov

I woke up next morning when i heard noises of servants in the chamber doing their morning duties. I wasn't visible to them as the thick curtains were around the bed.

I stretched my body . I was wearing ny blouse maybe Ranjeet made me wear it. The day went like nothing special happened except the servants gossiping when they saw the marks on my chest and neck while bathing me. So embarasssing...

I read some books to get through the day. I mean i have to find a way back. I can't get attached to anyone here. Not him....

It turned pretty late and i heard some weird noise in the deeper part of the library. I followed the noise ... Yeah i watched horror movies and still followed the voice rather than running away -_-

Suddenly everything went black as someone hit my head . I fainted... Yeah..stupid me..

When i opened my eyes , i was sitting in a cave like structure, my hands tied behind my back and legs tied together. My head hurted as i tried to move... Maybe bleeding a bit.

It was dimly lit by fire torches making it look even creepy. Suddenly i heard some noises and i knew what to do.

I fainted back ... Pretended to faint .. :)

I heard footsteps approaching.. maybe two guys . They were talking with each other.

" According to Queen's orders , she needs to die here"

" Queen will kill us if she survived"

" But it'll be a waste to just kill her. Look at her.... Let's have some fun before killing her"

That bitch!!!.... I'll kill her once i get out of here. Behen ki pakodi... Kha fas gyi bhagwan ji!!!....

Suddenly, a third guy called them both and i knew... it was my chance to save myself.

I instantly found a sharp rock and started cutting the ropes. Thankfully, i succeeded in time.

I got up and picked a heavy stick like structure then started walking out sneakily.

Aaj bcha lo bhagwan ji... Ek to muje smjh ni aata... Muje mr jana chahiye ? Ki jinda rehna chahiye? ...

I hit two guys on the head while sneaking out. And thanks to my luck i found a way out. But as soon as i got out. I felt like my body froze when i saw that red light emitting from the top of that cave.

And when i looked around it was the place where i was warned not to go.

" Shaapit Vatika"...

Suddenly i felt a sharp pain in my heart... So painful that i felt like someone was taking my soul out of my body...

I clenched over my chest.. my breathing got heavy and i couldn't stand anymore. My heart hearted ...so badly

I heard the voices of horses and footsteps. I turned around and saw Ranjeet riding his horse with a cold expression with his men following closely.

My vision got blurry...and i fell on my knees out of pain. My body felt so weak , so vulnerable. Like my soul was leaving my body..

In no time , Ranjeet got off his horse running to me. He caught me in his arms before my head hit the ground.

I couldn't breath or hear anything... That red light.. it was that light..

" Aishwarya...aishw~~...ai..."

His voice was getting blurry every second. His face full of worry like he was losing something very precious to him.

" Ranjeet..."

My voice barely a whisper. His face was the last thing i remebered before i fainted.

All i could see is all the memories flooding through my mind. All the memories of Princess Aishwarya and the 21st century Aishu...

Something is happening ... Something is changing... The pain in my chest is no more but my head is a mess.

Someone's calling my name. What is happening? Ranjeet? ... But it's a women's voice.

" Aishu... Aishu...beta! Please beta wake up"

Someone's crying... Why? Why does hearing her cry makes me sad?

I opened my eyes slowly and it took all the power in my body to even open my eyes. It feels like i woke up from a long sleep....a deep sleep

A ceiling...a white ceiling..not the heavily decorated ceiling of the palace.. but a hospital?!!!

Suddenly , i saw a women's face in front of me ...crying

" Mumma..."

I managed to speak and she hugged me tightly while crying..

" Oh my baby~ ... Oh my god~ you woke up.. Aishuu"

She ran and called the doctor. For the next few minutes or hours , doctors and people were running around me

And i was just trying to get a hold of myself and the situation i was in...

What happened? Did i travel back in time?yeah... I did..

" Do you remember who am i ?"

My father asked... He is the fourth person to ask the same question after my mother , brother and my bestfriend Deeksha.

Well not before they shed some happy tears after the awakening of the legend... Me... (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)

Sighs...

" Dad... I have not lost any memory"

So basically.... I was in a coma for three months straight after that accident.

The real question is.. where is princess 's soul then?... The only conclusion is..

" She is dead"

I murnured to myself.

Was it all a dream? Or did i really travel back in time? What is reality ...what is dream? I don't know anything...

Time skip...

It's been a month . Since i regained my consciousness and doctors said it was a miracle how fast i recovered.

Like who cares... I'm just happy , i woke up. But , everyone around me are taking extra care for me. They don't let me go out alone . I'm not a baby...i just got into an accident.. -_-

But...

I have everything. But i feel like something is missing. I know what that is. But...

I miss him. Everyday...everynight i dream about him. I hear his voice calling my name. His care , his touch , his voice , his face , his arms ....

I miss him...

I know i shouldn't....but i can't help it.

I'm going back to college. Everything seems back to normal. But a part of me is missing. He has it...

" Aishu...Aishu!!!! Heyy!!"

I heard Deeksha nudging me by her elbow as we were in class .

" Get out of your imagination dumbo! Focus!"

I smiled.. I'm back.. back to my people. I should forget everything.

" Yes mam!" Giggles*

Just like that , days passed ...and it's already been 1 month and fifteen days since i came back.

I was sleeping in my room when i suddenly heard his voice calling me so desperately.

" Aishwarya...."

Tears slipped my eyes.. i want to wake up. But I can't... I can't get up...

Mumma... I'm scared.. it feels so weird like I'm under a spell. I want to wake up but I can't.

My whole body feels numb. Like someone else is controlling me.

" Come back to me!"
