She was sitting silently on couch after guest went, Varnika was using her laptop doing work when she saw advet coming inside house with his friends she looks at them when his friend saw her he widen his eyes "Bro ! I thought you were lying but seriously! The famous buisness tycoon is your damn wife-" nischay said as yuvaan just rolled his eyes "Yes a wife whom he doesn't even love neither she does" advet raised a eyebrow looking at yuvaan who smiled innocently "Isn't it Advet ?...do bhabhi love you" he tried to tease him while advet glanced at Varnika who was silently seeing him a mischievous smile came on his lips he smirked sitting beside Varnika "she loves me a lot right honey" he look at Varnika innocently who was about to shook her head when nischay sat another side of Varnika encircling his arms around her shoulders "Acha ? Such me ? Then how much" advet smirked looking at Varnika "inhe toh mujh pei itna pyaar ata hai ki" Varnika glanced at his teasing face she knew what was going on in his little brain "mat pucho kitna pyaar ata hai aap par" she smirked he raised his eyebrows she stand and bend down a bit since advet was sitting she came near his lips "man toh karta hai inn hotho sei hoth milake saase pii jau apki" she smiled innocently and left advet widen his eyes looking at her yuvaan and nischay burst in laughter "bhabhi do kadam aage hai" nishchay spoke patting advet shoulders untill his face turned serious "Advet ! That's Arnav ! He ran away" Advet eyes darkened "I said that if he isn't dead kill him what those dogs were doing on that time !" Nischay sighed "we don't know...but he didn't ran away by himself someone have helped him" advet stare calmly at nischay untill they heard the voice of glass breaking they quickly glanced at table which was now broken due to gun shot , the gun was in advet hands yuvaan rolled his eyes "paise per pei nahi pharte- maids clean it tu chal humare sath!" He called out for maids then hold advet hands and nischay did same . . . . Varnika was sitting when after sometime advet enters in room she rolled her eyes he did same she raised her eyebrows he did same "are you copying me?" He asked she looks at him in disbelief "sometime i ignore you then suddenly I seduce you then suddenly I act cold towards you now even I am copying you? Mr sabharwal you are copying me" he chuckled she looks at him with side eyes gaze "I will be honest why are you so funny?" Varnika looks amazed she sat comfortably and asked "and who said I am?" Advet also sat beside her comfortably "why do I need someone words ? You are now in front of my eyes" Varnika just stare him casually "but you were the one who used to believe on media words more" Advet nodded nonchalantly "used to" Varnika didn't mind his words silently using her laptop his eyes went on her face she was looking focused yet beautiful her hair strands were on her face he was staring her for straight 10 minutes noticing how she wore the sari he picked when suddenly Varnika asked "why are you staring me continuonsly?" He came out of his thoughts "aapko dekh kar toh lambha bhi tham jaye phir mohtarma ye aankhe kya chiz hai?" He spoke casually still staring her eyes she looks at her surroundings "excuse me? There's no one in room...if mom will come you can act like this" he rolled his eyes at her in annoyance "pehle biwi bolti hai romantic nahi hai phir ban jao toh believe nahi karti hai...kon si fursat mei bhagwan nei aapko banaya tha ?" She stop her slight smile "wo kya hai na...mei aur sab biwiyo ki tarah nahi hu" she spoke and glanced back at her laptop using it "should I ask you something?" She looked up from her laptop and nodded "who is your real parents-" Varnika cut him off "they died-" "how you end up with Malhotra family" Varnika shrugged her shoulders "they were my parents friends" he nodded understanding her words "And what happened on that day" he asked she glanced at him she knew where this conversation was going "baat baat par gun nikalne mei konsa maza ata hai aapko?" She asked rolling her eyes while he smirked "I might make you roll your eyes in same way honey...but with pleasure..and that time I won't have this gun with me but-" she glared him "I dare you to countinue" He shrugged his shoulders "I love dares" Varnika raised her eyebrows "And will you complete this dare?" He shook his head "I would like if i complete the things which i said" varnika look at advet with done face "did god forget to gave you even a bit of shame" advet nodded "unfortunately" varnika sat silently when advet suddenly spoke

"And...mrs sabharwal what you were saying in front of my friends? Hoth sei hoth milake saase pine ki? I won't mind tbh" he spoke coming near her face untill she pushed him "you had a girlfriend right ? Have some shame" he raised his eyebrows at her words "mere paas girlfriend? Kab?" Varnika rolled her eyes "on that day when dhruv was talking to you" he pressed his mind on that point untill he part his lips in amazement "aapko aab tak yaad hai ? Bada notice karti hai aap mujhe" she looks at him with a disgust on her face "notice or mei ? Even my shoes won't do it" he rolled his eyes until he spoke "aapne aab tak nahi bataya what happened that day?" Varnika sighed "he was drunk he might have done it due to being drunk" advet chuckled sarcastically "drunk? Honey don't think me as a fool he himself accepted it that he was in anger" Varnika nodded untill a frown came on her face "when did he? How did he ?" Advet shrugged nonchalantly "aapko laga mei uss sale haramjade ko jinda chhor deta?" Varnika eyes widen "you killed him" he nodded nonchalantly "I tried to but he ran away" varnika was looking at him with disbelief "you try to kill him just because he molested me" his eyes went straight on her "molested ? If a guy will stare you with that thoughts I won't take time to kill them in worst way possible I mistakenly gave him easy death but God wanted him to get torcher now he ran away if I will catch him again i will make him beg for death-" Varnika look at him and asked "Why would you even do something like that" he glanced at her his mouth was closed he himself didn't knew what to reply "you are my wife-" "a wife whom you don't love-" she try to cut him off but he was fast enough to again did it "and still you are my wife" he spoke and left Varnika runs her palms on her hair in frustration "I won't take risk of police" she shouted from inside the room but didn't listen his voice . . . . It was night Varnika was pacing around her bed using her phone untill she heard the voice of something breaking it was loud enough from kitchen she came out of her room thinking maid must have broken something she was looking downstairs from stairs untill she heard the sound again advet also came out of his room alone with Gayatri and Narendra who said "aren't guard are being too much lazy now days" advet look at his mother "maa aap andar jao hum dekh lenge and ykw ? Not alone take him with you" gayatri try to cut his words but advet said "it's just some maids isn't it varnika" varnika nodded as however advet make his parents go inside their room back he took his phone and spoke "let me check" varnika stopped him "i already need to bring water i will check and ask maid to clean it" she said as she went downstairs he casually started walking towards his room untill just in some moments he heard a loud voice from kitchen his face turned pale he with a lot t efforts turn towards kitchen to see it burning in ashes Gayatri and Narendra came out of room "Guards take them out of the house" he spoke and ran towards kitchen without giving them time

*Advet pov*



I burst into the kitchen, heart racing, feeling like I was stepping into a nightmare.for the first time ever in life I was feeling like a bastard to let her come alone! To make kitchen this big! "Varnika!" I shouted, but silence swallowed my voice. Memories from five years ago clawed at my mind, and panic surged through me. The flames danced menacingly, and I could feel the heat licking at my skin. "Varnika, where are you?" I yelled, desperation clawing at my throat. The kitchen was chaos, smoke swirling like a ghost. My eyes darted around, and then I spotted it-her sari, crumpled behind the counter. I rushed over, dread pooling in my stomach. She was there, unconscious, and time froze. Just as I reached for her, the door ignited, flames roaring like a beast. I scooped her up, adrenaline pumping. I couldn't let things repeat itself. Outside, sirens wailed, but I had to save her first. I burst through the door, and the fire brigade rushed in, battling the inferno. I laid her on the ground, grabbing a water bottle, splashing her face. "Come on, Varnika, please!" I begged, my heart pounding. After what felt like an eternity, her eyes fluttered open. Relief washed over me as I pulled her into my arms, holding her tight as if my life depended on it. The world around us blurred, and all that mattered was that she was alive.

Varnika rested her head on his shoulder "why are you scared" she muttered advet still didn't left her he had hugged her enough hard in his arms "Mazak lagta hai aapko ? You could have died" he spoke untill her eyes went on her arms it had red marks possibly due to being so close to fire she also had but he had more since he was finding her "I am sorry" she spoke he look at her breaking the hug "why?" "You jumped in kitchen because of me-" he look at her then spoke "if I wouldn't have jumped then till now i would be dead out of guilt" varnika just stare at ground thinking something when advet asked "how did all this happened?" Varnika shook her head "I don't know , I saw a glass had fall when I went towards it the fire burn out more like a blast by some gas leak i guess" advet clenched his jaw "these maids! How they can be so careless" varnika glanced at advet who was checking his phone "what are you doing?" He checked the time and said "we will live in hotel for today and Tommorow we will shift in Mumbai I am booking our ticket" Gayatri and Narendra nodded untill narendra said "I am calling police they need to see this matter-" advet cut him off "no need ! I can see this matter , she is my wife you don't need to worry" he spoke coldly and left towards car followed by Gayatri Varnika sighed "sorry on behalf of him" she spoke and quickly left towards advet while Narendra clenched his jaw but left
