"Broken glass"

After finishing up some of the office work. We head over to my bakery. Axel has been there all morning baking up a storm I guess. He's sent me so many messages of cookies, muffins and he tried to make a cake but it didn't work out so well.

I'm so glad he's getting into this. I want him to have something other than the club to rely on. Even though I know the club will take care of him. Madz walks me to the front door.

"You call me if you need anything, okay?" I nod and smile up at him. Man is he good looking today. The way the sun is shining on his skin makes his eyes look even darker today.

"You got it." Madz leans in for a kiss and our mouths meet. It's a slow kiss. Full of passion and love. Once we separated, he gave me a hug.

"I'll be here late tonight. I need to run one town over to drop off some parts. I love you." At this point Axel has been waiting at the door like a dog. I laugh at how he's waving at both of us.

Madz just shakes his head and mumbles something I don't understand. "I'm just going to go inside now. He must need me." Madz cups my face and kisses me once last time.

Walking into the shop I lock the door behind me. "Hey Axe. What have you been up to all morning?" His grin gets even bigger. He looks like that cat from Alice In Wonderland.

"Hey Nova. I've been up all morning. I've mastered the cookies but I think that's it. Everything else." He looks over his shoulder. "Its not looking too good for me."

I look over and see the state my kitchen is in. The mess is everywhere. He even got it on the walls. "Do things at your own pace Axe. Everything will fall into place. Let's start some clean up huh."

Axel gives me a shy look. "Sorry I just got into it." I understand that. Once I got started and didn't want to stop. A mess is fine and I know he would clean it himself.

"No problem, let's put on some music. What do you like to listen to? I'm fine with whatever." I pull out my phone and open Spotify.

"Honestly, I love Taylor Swift. I know it's not manly but." He shrugs his shoulders. This makes me smile just as big as he was. I love Taylor Swift.

I opened a playlist of a mix of folklore, 1889, and reputation. Linking my phone up to the speaker Madz brought over. Then we got started with the mess.

It doesn't take long with the both of us. Though I am glad we have the shades down. Axel and I have been belting out the lyrics of 'I Did Something Bad'. We're both dancing around with the brooms.

I can barely hear it but I can hear the door bell ring. I turn down the music and Axel walks up front. It seems to be a delivery man. But he's dressed in all black. How odd.

"Did you order something?" I shake my head no. "Stay here, I'll check it out and see what it is." Axel opens the door. "Who is this from?" He asked the delivery man.

"Man, I don't know, I'm just paid to drop things off to people's doors." Axel takes the package and steps outside. This all seems so off.

"Can you text Beau and tell him that we got a random package over here? I don't want to open it just in case it's something crazy. I also don't think Madz would want me to." Nodding my head I pull out my phone.

I pull up Beau's contact. 'Hey Beau. We've got something going on down here. We got a box and I didn't order anything. Could you have someone stop by please.'

"I texted him." As soon as I tell Axel that everything seems to slow down. Axel looks at the box and sets it down. Then we hear a click.

"Nova go!" Axel yells. As soon as I go to turn. I hear glass shatter. I go flying towards the ground and Axel is nowhere to be seen. I'm in pain everywhere and all I see is smoke surrounding me.

"Axel." I try to yell out. Coughing as I try to speak. "Axel, are you okay?" I get no answer. I roll over to my side and rain radiates through my body.

I hear someone talking and it must be Axel and Beau but I'm then grabbed roughly and dragged towards the back of the shop. Trying not to yell in pain as I fight back. There is no way any of Madz men would handle me like this.

"Stop, get off of me." I hear an evil laugh and someone speaks. Everything is still blurry from the bomb. So I can't see who's got a hold of me. My eyes start to clear and I can finally see who has me.

Once I can fully see I see someone in a vest with the name 'Tank'. He smiles at me and his yellow teeth make my stomach flip. "Well look what we have here. I didn't think it would be this easy to grab you."

Still trying to pull away. "Axel! Axel!" I yell. He has to be okay. This just makes Tank laugh even more.

"You stupid women. He's gone, the bomb took him out." I try to hold back my sob. Tank yanks me towards the back door. "I'm so glad I listened to your dear ol' mom. She's the one that gave me this idea."

Wait, did he just say my mom did this? What, how and why? I know my mother didn't like me but I didn't think she would go this far. Tank opens the back door and I'm met with a white van.

I see the man who attacked me in the alley and he's got a wide smile on his face as well. "Hello Nova. Your mother sent a message. She's sorry she can't be here, she's a little tied up at the moment."

That makes him smirk even harder. Ghost jumps out of the van and helps Tank pull me into the van. I try with all that I can to fight it off but it's no use. My body is so sore.

Axel, poor Axel got dragged into this and now he's gone. This is all my fault. If I would have just found a way to get my mother money this never would have happened.

I'm tossed into the back of the van when another man comes up in front of me. His vest reads Hawk. He has a white bag next to him. "Check her out on the way to the cabin Hawk."

Hawk looks over me and isn't gentle about it at all. "She's fine. Nothing to worry about right now." Hawk tells Tank. He grabs some rope and Tank and Hawk tie up my feet and my hands behind my back.

They shove me into the back of the van and I wince in pain. "Please let me go. I wont tell anyone who it was. Please." That gets them all to laugh.

I feel a prick in my neck when I look over and see Ghost pull away with a needle in his hand. What did they just give me? "You really think we would just let you go after all this." Tank says.

"She really is stupid Prez." Ghost says. Tank looks over at him and slaps him hard across the face.

"Shut the fuck up Ghost. I didn't say you could say anything else to her." Everything around me starts to get foggy. My head feels heavy and I'm starting to feel sick.

All of this pain and whatever they injected me with is getting to me. Slowly, I start to drift away. But before I do I think of the one person I know who will come and find me. Madz.

I know he won't give up looking for me. He would burn the world down for me. That's for sure. I try so hard to hold on and stay awake but that's not going to happen.

Before I let the darkness take over I hear someone mumble into my ears. "We're going to have so much fun once we get to where we're going. I've been thinking of this moment since I saw you last."

With that I'm gone. I pass out and my body slumps to the floor. Madz will come and save me, and when he does he wont let anything happen to me ever again.
