"I'm on my way"

I'm unloading boxes when I see my phone light up in the car. I see flashes of texts fly across my screen. What in the fuck is going on. I grab my phone and unlock it.

What I read makes my whole body go still. Nova. Nova has been taken. I scream out in anger and ram my fist into my truck. Without letting anyone know I'm leaving I jump in my truck and drive.

Going over the speed limit I rush back to the bakery. I'm about 45 minutes away. I'll have to make it faster than that. Nova needs me. What the fuck happened when I was gone.

My car speaker rings and I hit the answer on the steering wheel. "What the fuck is going on. Tell me now!" I scream at whoever called me.

"There was a package left at Nova's shop and it was a bomb. Axel left it outside and called Beau for back up but before they could walk away it went off." A bomb. A bomb went off at Nova's shop with her inside it.

"Where's Nova? Where is Axel?" I left her with him this morning. Let me talk to her." Silence fills the line. "Tell me". I scream.

"Axel doesn't look good brother." Fuck. "And Nova." I clench my teeth so hard I can hear them crack. "Nova's gone. Axel hasn't woke up yet so we don't know what happened. The brothers are trying to look at the cameras now to see what they can find.

I yell into the air. Yell for leaving her behind and for one of my prospects getting hurt under my care. "Find her. I want you to find her now. Do you guys know who even took her?"

"No, but the guys just got into the cameras. Hold on." Minutes fly but which feels like hours. When finally I hear someone pick up the phone.

"Hey, it's Tiny. Cash is looking at the footage. Prez I need you to pull over for this." No fucking way am I stopping.

"Fuck you. Now tell me who took her." I scream. I know yelling at my men wont fix anything but I cant hold back my anger.

"It was the Serpents. You can see Tank and Ghost and someone else pull up with a white van behind the building just minutes after the bomb goes off. They..." They what? What the fuck did they do to Nova.

"They were dragging Nova into the van and she was fighting them back. She was covered in scratches and blood. She's hurt but she was fighting back. She wasn't giving up." That's my girl.

Rushing down the road I'm lucky it's clear and there is no traffic. I'm somehow only ten minutes away now and I hang up the phone. Rushing to get back to town.

When I get to the bakery I see the fire chief and all my brothers around the building. The door was gone and the windows were shattered.

I'm stopped by a police officer. "You can't come past sir. This is an investigation." I push the officer to the ground and run towards my brothers.

"Does anyone have any updates?" At this point I don't care who hears but we help the police enough for them to back off. I step to the side and so did my brothers.

"We don't have a location yet but Cash is tracking down the plates right now. He found the van stopping at a gas station 30 minutes from here." 30 whole minutes she's been gone. What could they be doing to her?

"Where is Axel? How is he?" I look around and don't see him anywhere.

"The ambulance took him. He busted his head open real good and had burns all over his skin. So they are rushing him into the ER now." If Axel is that bad then Nova must be too but she's with the enemy. Alone.

"We gotta find her Tiny. We have too. I just found her. I can't lose her. I just can't." Letting my shield slip a little showing off how upset I am.

"We'll find her brother. When we do, we will take care of them for good and no one will take her from you ever again." Tiny comes in and tries to comfort me.

The police come up to me and start asking questions. "So what we have here is what looks to be a homemade bomb. Do you guys have any idea where this came from?" My brothers all give me the look.

"No officer we don't." Because if we tell them I wont ever be able to get my revenge. He nods his head and places his note pad back into his pocket.

"If you hear of anything let me know. For now the shop is off limits until the fire chief calls it." I nod my head and walk away.

"I need to go see Axel. I need to see if he's awake." Tiny takes me to his truck and we head towards the hospital. On our way over I get a call.

"What?" Not caring who's on the other line.

"We got the plates. It's a stolen van with no tracker but we're checking into Tank and seeing if he has any land nearby. So far I can't find anything but I'm just now getting into his parents." Knowing I can trust Cash to find him.

"Okay, we're pulling into the hospital now." Both Tiny and I jump out and rush towards the doors. A nurse meets us.

"Who can I help you find?" She asks in a calm tone.

"Axel. Axel Thompson. He was brought in about 20 minutes ago." The nurse looks over her paper work.

"Can I ask who you are?" I'm not about to have them turn me away.

"I'm his brother Madz Thompson." She gives me a look like she doesn't believe me but leads us to the room he's in anyways.

Once we are in his room the nurse tells me what's wrong with him and that they have him sedated for now. I'm glad they do because he looks fucking awful but I need to know if he has any information.

The nurse leaves us and Tiny steps towards me. "Cash texted me they have a location. Here are my keys and I'll stay behind with Axel. You go."

I take his keys and rush out the door. Running through the hallways trying not to run into people. I make it outside to Tiny's truck and head to the club house.

I walk into Cash's office and it's loaded with screens. It's like a FBI film in here. "Prez, I found out that Tank's grandfather has a cabin about an hour away from here. That has to be it."

A fucking hour. She's already been gone for almost an hour and now she will be in their hands for even longer. "Where is it?"

"I'm sending over the location now. All the brothers should have it. We have to take our cars. They will hear our bikes coming and who knows what will happen."

I don't even want to think about anything else right now but finding Nova. Nodding my head I head outside. I see all my men waiting for my call.

Walking past them all I pause. "I want the president left for me. Everyone else can take care of the rest." They men all yell and we all get into our vehicles.

Racing down the road all I can think about is Nova and what they are doing to her. My anger builds and I know I'm about to explode. I have to save it all for when I come face to face with Tank again.

I gave him a warning once and now he's made a mistake. One that is costing him his life. Nova sweetheart. I'm on my way. I just need you to hold on for me.
