I texted Rome this morning to let him know that I would need him around 12 because I was going to the cemetery since it was late when I got in last night and I had a brunch date with Ang and Maurice! I kept my word and changed the locks as promised but I put a keypad on each door leading outside! Thankfully Zac hasn't invaded my privacy since the night he barged in here!

I pulled myself out of bed and showered before cooking breakfast! I haven't cooked since I left my father's home because I've been eating out! I turned on my music and lit my candle before I started cooking! I heard a knock at the door! Now I'm in biker shorts and a matching bra but honestly idc! I opened the door and Zac was standing there drooling!

"Do you need a bib for all that slobbering you're doing or is there something I can help you with?"

Zac, "I-I wanted to talk to you if you don't mind! Can I come in?"

"Sure why not?"

I walked away from the door and back in the kitchen just in time to flip my pancakes!

Zac walked in and sat at the bar, "Are you hungry?"

Zac, "Uh Yeah!"

"Alright! I'll fix you a plate!"

Zac, "I didn't expect that but thanks!"

"Just because you're an ass doesn't mean everyone else is!"

Everything was done and I decided to fix some mimosas cause why not?



I handed Zac his plate and cup before sitting on the stool beside him! He grabbed his fork and I popped his hand, "Uh Uh, Let's say grace! Lord thank you for this food, allow it to nourish our body and replenish our strength, Amen!"

Zac, "Amen!"

We started eating and of course it was an awkward silence, "What did you want to talk about?"

Zac, "I wanted to know why you're avoiding me?"

I chuckled, "You think so highly of yourself! Our last encounter resulted in you being a little handsy, which showed your aggression and I don't do well with aggression!"

Zac, "I apologized though!"

"Is your apology supposed to mean something to me? You couldn't even tell me why you did what you did! If I didn't know any better, I would say you're jealous!"

Zac looked at me, "Maybe I am!"

"Whatever Zac! You don't want me! You wanted Karen! You've had her and that's that! I see no reason to ponder over what you think this ought to be because in reality it is what it is, business, not pleasure!"

Zac, "I don't know if I want you or not but what I do know is I don't want you with no one else!"

"Ain't that some shit! You think I'm your puppet or something? You don't get to pull my strings Zac! I'm human just like all the women you sleep with and leave to pick up the broken pieces to their hearts! The only difference is we aren't together and you will NEVER sleep with me!"

Zac, "When you get to know me I'm actually cool as hell!"

"Been there, done that! You had one first impression and you blew it! Idk what more do you want from me because this right here will stay platonic! You're a fuck boy and you're not used to being told no or being ignored! That's why you're here!"
