𓏵། 𝟺9% 𓎢𓎡 Y/n's eyes widened in shock, his body frozen in place. He couldn't move. He couldn't stop trembling. The figure before him simply stared, unmoving. Then, after what felt like an eternity, they finally shifted. Y/n swallowed hard, his throat dry, and glanced around.

Where is this place?

His gaze returned to the mysterious figure. They wore a cloak, their long white hair cascading down, shimmering under the dim light. Their attire gleamed with gold accents, resembling an intricate piece of art.

Y/n couldn't tear his eyes away as the figure turned and walked toward a throne at the end of the hall. It stood tall and imposing, a symbol of authority.

The moment they reached it, they sat down gracefully, their hidden gaze locking onto Y/n. Though their face remained obscured, Y/n felt the weight of their stare, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Move."

A cold, commanding voice broke the silence. Deep. Male.

Y/n gasped softly. His body-he could move again. Taking a shaky breath, he quickly straightened his clothes before hesitantly speaking.

"W-what do you want from me?" His voice wavered slightly, betraying his nerves.

"You don't belong here."

The man drummed his fingers against the armrest of the throne, his tone unwavering.

Y/n's heart pounded. He felt nervous, confused-overwhelmed. "What do you mean I don't belong here?" he asked, a bead of sweat trailing down his temple. The man remained silent for a moment before rising from his seat. Slowly, he stepped forward.

Y/n stiffened. His instincts screamed at him to stay calm, but panic clawed at his chest. As the man approached, Y/n unconsciously took a step back. Then, the man stopped, standing just inches away.

"I've already blocked the system. Starstream and the constellation won't know."

Y/n blinked. "Huh?"

The man sighed, his tone carrying a dangerous edge.

"The reason I brought you here... is to tell you that you don't belong in this world."

Y/n's breath hitched at the man's words.

"I don't belong here?"

His mind raced, trying to make sense of the situation. He wasn't even sure how he got here in the first place. One moment, he had been in his world-reading Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, and the next, he was standing in this eerie, grand hall.

Y/n clenched his fists. "That doesn't explain anything! If I don't belong here, then why am I here? Who are you?"

The man tilted his head slightly, as if observing something unseen. His presence was overwhelming, an aura of divinity clinging to his every movement. Though his face remained hidden, Y/n felt the weight of his unseen gaze.

"I am what you would call Chronaris. A being beyond the constraints of this story, beyond the Starstream, beyond the constellations."

Y/n stiffened. 𐌂𐋅𐌐Ꝋ𐌌𐌉𐌵𐌌? There had never been a mention of someone like this in ORV. Not even among the hidden scenarios or secretive constellations.

The man continued, his voice eerily calm. "You should not exist in this world. You are a variable-an anomaly. The Starstream has not detected you yet, but it is only a matter of time before it does."

Y/n swallowed hard. "So... what? You're saying I just fell into this world by accident?"

Chronaris didn't answer immediately. Instead, he raised a hand, and the space around them seemed to distort. Y/n felt his stomach lurch as the air itself twisted, showing fragmented visions-moments from a story he knew all too well.

Kim Dokja. Yoo Joonghyuk. The scenarios. The Starstream's gaze looming over everything.

It was real.

Y/n took a shaky step back. "This... this is insane. It's just a novel! It's supposed to be fiction!"

The man's fingers curled slightly, and the distorted space snapped back to normal. "To you, perhaps. But to those who live within it, this world is no different from yours."

Y/n's breathing was uneven. His head throbbed with the weight of this revelation.

"But your presence here threatens that balance."

Y/n looked up. "How? I'm just a person!, I'm not some protagonist-hell, I don't even know how I got here!"

The man took a step closer, and Y/n felt his overwhelming divinity press down on him. "And that is precisely the problem."

Y/n shuddered.

"The Starstream operates under rules. Every existence in this world has a role to play-whether as a character, a constellation, or an outer god. You, however... are an exception. A being with no established fate, no predetermined path. The system does not recognize you."

A pit formed in Y/n's stomach. If the Starstream and the constellation's didn't recognize him, then that meant-

"It cannot control you. And that is dangerous."

Silence fell between them.

Y/n exhaled sharply. "So... what happens now? What are you going to do with me?"

Chronaris didn't answer immediately. He simply observed him, unreadable and still. Then, finally, he spoke.

"That depends."

Y/n's heart pounded. "On what?"

The man's voice was quiet, yet heavy.

"On whether you wish to stay in this world... or leave it."

Y/n's breath caught in his throat.

Stay? Or leave?

For the first time, he truly understood the weight of his situation. He didn't belong here. But did he want to leave?

The world of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint had always fascinated him, and now he was living inside it. But if the system realized he was here... what would happen to him? And more importantly-why had this Chronaris called him here before the constellation's even noticed? There was something else. Something this man wasn't saying.

Y/n clenched his fists.

"Why did you really bring me here?"

Chronaris was silent for a long moment. Then, with a voice as deep as the abyss, he answered

"Because I am not the only one who has noticed your existence."

Y/n felt a chill crawl up his spine. Somewhere in the vast expanse of the Starstream, something else was watching him.

And it had already begun to move.

Y/n's fingers trembled slightly as he processed Chronaris words.

Because I am not the only one who has noticed your existence.

The weight of the statement sent a cold chill down his spine. He gritted his teeth and forced himself to focus. No matter how overwhelming this was, there was something even more important-something he still didn't understand.

"How did I even get here?" Y/n asked, his voice tense. "I was just going to work. I got on the train, and then... everything changed."

Chronaris tilted his head slightly, as if analyzing his words.

Y/n's breath was uneven as he tried to recall every detail. "I-I remember sitting on the train, playing at my phone. And then suddenly, everything felt... off. The lights flickered. The people around me started acting strange, and then-"

His throat went dry.

"The scenario started."

He could still remember the cold, mechanical voice echoing in his mind. The dokkaebi announcement. The panic that spread through the passengers. The moment the train became a battlefield.

His heart pounded. "That was a scenario. I saw people die. I heard the dokkaebi's voice. It was just like in the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint."

His gaze snapped back to Chronaris. "So tell me-does this world really exist?"

The silence that followed was suffocating.

Chronaris let out a soft sigh, as if he had expected this question. Then, he spoke.

"It exists. But not in the way you believe."

Y/n frowned. "What do you mean?"

Chronaris gestured with one hand, and suddenly, the space around them distorted again. Images flickered in the air-fragments of reality and fiction colliding.

Kim Dokja. Yoo Joonghyuk. The companions. The destruction of Seoul. The constellation's ever-present gaze. Then, an unfamiliar sight-a branching path, splitting into countless possibilities.

"This world is not a single story, nor is it bound by mere fiction," Chronaris explained. "It is a construct of countless narratives, interwoven and rewritten with every observer, every choice, every deviation."

Y/n's head ached from trying to comprehend it. "So... this isn't just the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint I know?"

"It is one of many possible versions of it."

A sharp realization hit him. "Then... am I in the original story? Or is this something else?"

The god was silent for a moment before replying. "The moment you arrived, this world was no longer the same as the one you knew."

Y/n's breath caught in his throat. He had changed this world just by being here.

"But that still doesn't explain how I got here!" he snapped, frustration creeping into his voice. Chronaris regarded him carefully. Then, with a slow, deliberate voice, he answered

"Because something-or someone-wanted you to be here."

Y/n felt his blood run cold.

"Someone... brought me here?"

Chronaris nodded.

"And they are still watching."

Y/n clenched his fists. His mind was spinning, but one thing was clear-his presence in this world wasn't an accident. Someone had pulled him into Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

And they weren't done with him yet.

Y/n couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. His thoughts spiraled out of control, looping through the same impossible questions.

I was just reading ORV...

One moment, he had been a reader, safely flipping through the story's pages, knowing the twists and turns before they happened. The next, he was inside it, standing in front of Chronaris who claimed he didn't belong.

How am I supposed to process this?

His breathing was uneven. His chest felt tight. He gritted his teeth, gripping his arms as he tried to ground himself.

He wasn't Yoo Joonghyuk, the regressor who had suffered countless rounds. He wasn't Kim Dokja, the only reader who could predict the future. He wasn't even a side character meant to exist in this world.

He's also a reader.

And yet, here he was.

"What happens now?" Y/n muttered under his breath. He wasn't sure if he was asking himself or the god before him. "Will the story play out the same way? Or did I already change everything?"

Chronaris observed him, silent for a long moment before responding.

"The story you knew no longer exists in its original form."

Y/n felt his stomach drop. No longer exists?

"The moment you arrived, this world diverged from the path it was meant to follow. The fate you once read is no longer absolute."

Y/n's mind raced. Did that mean the ending had changed too?

Would Kim Dokja still survive? Would Yoo Joonghyuk still continue his regressions? What about the companions? The Final Scenario?

"Is it because of me?" he asked, his voice quieter than before. "Did I... ruin the story?"

Chronaris didn't answer right away.

"The answer depends on the intentions of the one who brought you here."

Y/n clenched his fists. The same question burned at the back of his mind-Who?

"Was it an accident?" he muttered. "Or was it deliberate?"

If it was truly an accident, then maybe, just maybe, there was a way to undo this. A way to return to his world without leaving behind irreversible consequences.

But if someone deliberately brought him here...

Then they wanted him in this story for a reason.

And that reason could change everything.

A bitter laugh escaped his lips. "This has to be a dream," he whispered, his voice shaking. "None of this makes sense. How can I even believe this?" But no matter how many times he told himself it wasn't real-

The pressure of the Chronaris presence. The suffocating weight of the constellations watching from above. The vivid memory of blood splattering inside the train. -proved otherwise.

It was real. He was real.

And he had no idea what to do next. Y/n sat in silence, his thoughts circling like vultures over a dying animal.

Did he want to go back?

Or did he want to change the ending?

He wasn't sure anymore.

Going back meant escaping this chaos, returning to a life where he was just a reader, safe behind the screen. A world where he didn't have to fight to survive.

But staying... staying meant he had a chance to change things. A chance to prevent that ending.

The thought made his chest tighten.

He knew how Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint ended. He knew the sacrifices, the losses, the tragedies. And if this world was no longer following its original path, then didn't that mean he could do something about it?

But at what cost?

"This is a risk," he whispered to himself. "I could die at any moment."

That was the part that scared him the most. He wasn't Kim Dokja, who could manipulate the system with his knowledge. He wasn't Yoo Joonghyuk, who had a million lifetimes of experience. He wasn't even a proper character in this world.

If he made one wrong move, he would die.

Would that be the end? Would he just disappear? Or... was that what the person who brought him here wanted?

Y/n's stomach churned.

"Why am I here?" he muttered under his breath. "Did they bring me here for a reason? Do they want me to do something... or do they just want me dead?"

And if he truly didn't belong in this world-then why was he here?

...Or did he belong here after all?

His gaze flickered toward Chronaris, who remained eerily silent, watching him with an unreadable expression.

How much did this god know about him? How long has he been aware of Y/n's existence?

Y/n swallowed thickly. He wanted to ask-How do you know about me?-but something told him he wouldn't like the answer.

So, for now, he kept the question buried deep inside him.

Because right now, he had a bigger problem.

Did he want to leave this world?

Or did he want to change it?

And if he did choose to change it...

Would he survive long enough to see the ending?

Chronaris slowly stood from his throne, the heavy fabric of his cloak brushing against the cold marble floor. His golden eyes glowed faintly beneath the shadow of his hood, piercing straight through Y/n.

"We should not speak any further."

His voice was calm, yet it carried a weight that pressed down on Y/n's chest.

"The Starstream, dokkaebi's and constellations have not yet noticed your absence... but they will if you linger here too long."

Y/n's heart skipped a beat. The Starstream... the ever-watching system that governed this world. If they found out he didn't belong-what would they do to him?

"They haven't gotten a single clue that you don't belong here."

Y/n clenched his fists, trying to steady his breathing. He wanted to believe that, but the gnawing fear wouldn't let him. Chronaris took a step closer, his voice lowering.

"Don't be obvious, Y/n."

Y/n's eyes widened slightly. This was the first time Chronaris had spoken his name.

"You cannot let anyone-constellation or human-discover your true identity."

Y/n swallowed hard. His mind was spinning.

"Then... what should I do?" he asked quietly. Chronaris glowing fingers tapped lightly on the armrest of his throne, as if considering his next words.

"It is your choice."

Y/n's breath caught.

"Whether you continue the scenarios or not whether you fight to survive or let yourself disappear... everything depends on you."

Y/n felt a chill crawl down his spine.

A choice.

Chronaris was leaving the decision entirely in his hands.

But why?

What was the point of bringing him here if there was no purpose?

"Why would you leave that up to me?" Y/n asked, his voice almost breaking. "Why give me a choice if I don't even belong here?"

Chronaris didn't answer right away. Instead, he slowly lifted his hand and snapped his fingers.

A faint ripple echoed through the space-

-and the door from earlier appeared once again, the same one Y/n had stumbled through when he first arrived in this strange place.

"You should go back now."

Y/n's heart pounded. His legs felt heavy.

Y/n glanced between the door and the Chronaris. He wanted to ask more-about who brought him here, about whether he truly belonged in this world- But he knew he wouldn't get any answers. Not now.

Instead, he stood frozen in place, unable to hide the worry flickering in his eyes. "What if... I don't survive?"

Chronaris stared at him for a long moment. Then, with a voice as cold as the void, he replied

"Then you were never meant to be here in the first place."

Y/n's breath caught in his throat. Chronaris golden eyes seemed to burn into him, as if searching for something hidden beneath the surface.

"But... if you do survive..."

He paused.

"Perhaps this world was waiting for you all along."

Y/n's heart pounded harder in his chest. Without another word, Chronaris turned away, his figure disappearing into the shadows of the grand hall.

The door stood before Y/n-silent, waiting.

He could still turn back. He could refuse to participate in the scenarios, hide away, and pray that the Starstream, constellations and the others never found out he existed.

But deep down...

He knew that wasn't an option.

Even if he didn't want to admit it-

A part of him wanted to stay.

A part of him wanted to change the ending.

Even if it meant risking his life.

With trembling hands, Y/n took a shaky step toward the door. As he opened the door and stepped out.

Y/n froze.

His heart nearly stopped as he took in the sight before him.
