　　𓏵 ͜͝ | .　　𓎢𓎡　　A h/c man yelled, scrolling furiously up and down the page. His eyes remained fixed on the words "The End", disbelief sinking into his chest like a stone. He grabbed his phone, double-checking the website, hoping-praying that he was wrong.

But there it was. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint had ended.

His favorite novel-the one about a man named Kim Dokja, forced to survive and complete scenario after scenario-was finally over.

"Y/N! COME DOWN HERE AND GO TO WORK!"

His mother's sharp voice cut through his daze.

Y/N groaned, tossing his phone onto the bed as he scrambled to his feet. "I'm coming, wait!" he called out, hurriedly fixing his tie. His fingers fumbled with the knot when his mother suddenly appeared in his doorway.

"Hey, I can't drive you today, so you'll have to take the subway," she said, adjusting her bag.

"What? Why? Where are you going?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

She sighed. "Business trip. I'll be gone for a few days."

Y/N let out a long breath. "Fine, I'll take the subway," he muttered. But then he glanced at her again. "Wait... you're leaving now?"

His mother nodded, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "Yeah. Be careful while you're home alone, and don't forget to feed Yinnie."

"Yeah, yeah, I got it," he mumbled, watching her zip up her coat and step outside. She gave him one last look before shutting the door behind her.

As soon as she was gone, Y/N exhaled in relief. "Finally. The whole house to myself." A smirk played at his lips as he reached for the cat food, pouring it into a bowl for Yinnie.

He checked his watch.

His stomach dropped.

"Holy crap, I'm going to be late!"

With a panicked yelp, he snatched his bag, bolted out the door, and sprinted down the street. The bus to the subway was already pulling up if he missed it, he was doomed.

And yet, as he ran, a strange feeling settled in his gut.

Something about today... felt different.

The subway doors slid shut just as Y/N stumbled inside, barely catching his breath. He scanned the subway spotting an empty seat, and hurried toward it. Slumping into the seat, he sighed and wiped his forehead with a handkerchief. That was close.

As the train rumbled forward, he pulled out his phone, opening Genshin Impact to pass the time.

Everything seemed normal.

Until it wasn't.

Without warning, the train screeched to a halt, the metal floor trembling beneath his feet. The lights flickered once. Then twice. Then-

A loud boom echoed through the subway.

Gasps and cries erupted around him as people clung to the poles and seats. A sickening creak reverberated through the space, followed by frantic whispers.

Y/N stiffened, his fingers frozen on his phone screen.

Then-

A blue window popped up before his eyes.

[The Main Scenario has started.]

His breath caught in his throat.

The world around him erupted into chaos, shouts, footsteps, people scrambling to make sense of the impossible. The subway shook again, as if something massive was pressing against it.

But Y/N... only stared.

His pulse thundered in his ears as he took in the glowing text. His hands trembled, but not from fear.

"...Impossible," he whispered. His lips curled, heart pounding in his chest. "I must be dreaming. This can't be real..."

And yet-

His laughter slipped out, quiet at first, then growing. It bubbled in his chest, barely contained, as he scanned the panic around him.

"This has to be a dream," he chuckled, grinning despite himself. "There's no way I'm in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint right now!"

The thrill in his voice was undeniable.

Then suddenly-

The train lurched.

Y/N barely had time to react before a sharp force slammed into him, sending him sprawling across the floor. His shoulder collided with the cold metal, and pain shot up his arm.

"Damn it!" He hissed, pushing himself up. But the moment he did, he noticed something strange.

The air felt... wrong.
