𓎢𓎡 . ◞ ✙ Everyone gathered around as Inho started his announcement, but Y/N ignored him and rummaged through his bag. Staring at its contents for a while, he let out a frustrated groan and lightly smacked the bag.

"FUCK," he whispered to himself. "I forgot about this scene... My food..." He whined, though no actual tears fell, lamenting his misfortune.

A few people glanced at him with puzzled expressions, but it wasn't entirely unusual-everyone had their moments of despair. Still, Y/N sighed deeply and zipped his bag shut. "I hate this. I hate everyone. At this point, just let me die," he muttered under his breath, crossing his arms and fuming over the lost food.

As he brooded, he noticed Kim Dokja and his group talking amongst themselves.

Soon after, Heewon approached him, crossing her arms. "Hey, want to come with us? We're going to hunt," she said casually.

Y/N glanced at her and shrugged. "Sure."

"Alright, follow me," Heewon replied with a nod, leading him toward the group.

Kim Dokja noticed their approach and greeted him. "Ah, Y/N, you wanted to join us?"

"Yeah. Honestly, I have no idea what to do here, and it's getting kind of boring," Y/N replied with a sigh.

Kim Dokja smiled faintly. "Alright, let's go." He motioned for the group to move forward, and Y/N followed.

As they walked through the subway tunnel, Y/N's gaze landed on Myungoh. Thoughts bubbled in his mind

'Why is he even here? That bastard is useless... Oh, wait, I remember. Doesn't he have... what was it again? Mpreg or something?'

He tried to stifle a chuckle as the group stopped in their tracks.

"What the hell happened here?" Heewon asked, eyeing the corpses of large monsters scattered around.

"Woah, they're bigger than I expected..." Y/N muttered as he observed the dead creatures.

Hyunsung approached Kim Dokja, his expression thoughtful. "Dokja, can't we use these creatures as food to clear the scenario?"

Kim Dokja crouched beside one of the bodies and inspected it closely before shaking his head. "The scenario says we need to hunt the food directly. So probably not."

Standing up, Kim Dokja turned to Heewon. "Didn't you say you were good at kendo?"

"Ah... I wouldn't say I'm very good, but yeah, I've trained," she replied, scratching the back of her head.

After some time, everyone had crafted makeshift weapons from the monster bones.

"Woah... It feels like we've gone back to the Stone Age," Heewon joked, holding up her weapon.

Y/N examined his own weapon and gave it a few practice swings. "This is actually pretty cool," he said with a small smile, excitement bubbling inside. This is so surreal. I can't believe this is happening...

Suddenly, a realization hit him. Wait. Don't I have powers?

He quickly opened his status window, which he'd learned about earlier. Scrolling through the details, his eyes widened when he found something unexpected.

'Assassination powers? What's that? Did I just get these randomly? I didn't see them earlier...'

Silent Oblivion: Concentrates shadows around a single target, trapping them in a void where time slows. Enables a perfect, undetectable kill. (Locked)

Void Arsenal: Summons shadow weapons (daggers, scythes, needles) that pierce armor and vanish on impact. (Locked)

Umbral Dash: Moves at lightning speed, leaving a disorienting shadow trail. (Unlock by finishing a scenario)

Umbra Mimicry: Mimics a target's voice, appearance, and mannerisms by touching their shadow. Disguise lasts 10 minutes or until exposed to strong light. ( Locked )

Cloak of Nothingness: Creates an impenetrable barrier of darkness, hiding the user from sight, sound, and magic temporarily. ( Locked)

Weaknesses: Sunlight and holy magic disrupt abilities and weaken the user. Prolonged power usage causes exhaustion.

Staring at the screen, Y/N's jaw dropped. "W-WOAH, these powers are amazing!" His grin faded slightly as he noticed most of them were locked. "Ah... of course. Figures." He groaned and closed the window. "Whatever. I'll focus on the sub-scenario for now," he muttered.

"These weapons will be more efficient if the blades are sharper, so file the edges with rocks or anything similar " Kim Dokja instructed.

A notification appeared before them:

「 You have successfully crafted weapons. 」

「 A handful of constellations have taken an

interest in humanity's primitive ingenuity. 」

The constellations reward you with 100 coins. 」

Kim Dokja read the notification and turned back to the group. "If possible, invest everything into your strength, stamina, and agility, and only keep enough coins for the survival fee," he explained.

Y/N found himself staring at Kim Dokja for a moment, a faint smile tugging at his lips. No wonder he has so many fans... He's so smart and reliable.

Shaking the thought away, he gripped his weapon tightly
