Sophia found herself waking up in an unfamiliar environment, the memory of last night hazy and fragmented. She lay on a massive bed belonging to Ansh, and felt the weight of the world in her head, a remnant of her antics from the night before. As she rubbed her aching temples in a bid to clear the fog in her mind, her eyes fell upon Ansh.

Ansh smirked, amusement flickering in his eyes as he watched Sophia. With his arms folded and leaning against the huge window, he admired her-especially when she was sleeping.

Gathering courage, Sophia stood and approached him, her heart pounding but her voice steady. "Did anything happen last night?" she asked, her eyes seeking clarity in his stoic face.

Ansh's jaw tightened. He turned to face her fully, his expression cold, yet his words carried a deliberate ambiguity. "Why? Are you hoping for something to have happened?"

Sophia's breath hitched. She took a step back, unsure how to respond.

Without warning, Ansh closed the distance between them, caging her between his chest and the window. His voice dropped, laced with a dark warning. "Next time you dare to drink like that again and I'll make sure that I fuck you so hard untill you won't forgot your own name"

Sophia's defiance flared despite the fear his dominance ignited. She straightened, meeting his gaze with equal intensity. "I don't belong to anyone."

Ansh's smirk deepened, amused by her resistance. He leaned closer, his breath brushing against her ear.

"Not yet," he murmured before stepping away. "Go freshen up. We have work to do."

Sophia watched him leave, her mind reeling. There was something about Ansh-his power, his control-that both terrified and intrigued her.

Sofia understood that he hadn't done anything

Sofia made her way to the bathroom, awestruck by its opulence a space of royalty.

The warm water felt soothing as it washed away last night's remnants. Once ready she stepped out of the room. Finding ansh already gone.

Anna the maid, she was standing outside with some formal office wear clothes to hand it to Sofia which were actually of nyra's. Sofia took those clothes and passed a smile she had no time to go home and dress up because her each and every single sec for the company is as important as Ansh's.

Anna approached her with a kind smile, "Mam please come with me to have breakfast, I have been ordered"

Sofia shook her head gently, she replied with lingering fatigue. "No, thank you dear,I seemed to have misplaced my appetite"

Sofia stepped outside of the mansion, the driver waiting by the car.just as she was about to leave, he stopped her , saying 'Mam please sit in the car, I will drop you office"

As she sat in the car, in her mind raced with thoughts of past 24 hours. Everything changed so unexpectedly. The man she feared seemed different now, less predictable, more mysterious.

After reaching office. Sofia make her way towards Ansh's cabin.

As Sofia entered dimly lit cabin , the air was thick with anticipation.

"Sit," Ansh instructed without looking up.

Sophia complied, her nerves barely contained.

"Yesterday's party was important "he said

Sophia modded.

"One of our business partners, veronica, prefers dealing with women. She's timid in business with men. So ,I wanted you to encourage her" His tone was both a reprimand and an acknowledgement of Sophia's unique abilities.

He continued. "But that didn't happen."

Ansh said, his tone carrying a warning. "Visit her today. Secure the deal at any cost."

Sophia met his cold demeanor with professionalism. "Leave it all to me" Sofia said confidently "We will have the deal by the evening "

Ansh gave a smirk at her confidence.

Although Sophia was a skilled sales manager, her business certificates were proof of her broader talents. Recognizing these, Anush instructed her to approach Veronica.

Ansh leaned forward, eyes sharp. "Veronica is meticulous and values precision. Be straightforward, but don't rush. Let her feel in control."

Sophia nodded, mentally noting each detail. She then stood, ready for the task ahead.

Sophia met his icy gaze. "I'll handle it."

Ansh smirked. "You'd better."

************

Later, in Veronica's office.

"Sophia Ellis, right?" Veronica gestured to the chair across from her desk. "Please, sit."

Sophia nodded politely and took her seat. "Thank you!...I appreciate you for making time for this."

Veronica looked at Sofia in disbelief "Ansh , suddenly trusting a woman with something this significant? That's... unexpected."

Sophia nodded slightly. "I wouldn't be here if I hadn't earned it."

Veronica leaned forward, her eyes narrowing slightly with respect. "You must have some serious skills if he trusts you."

Sophia met Veronica's gaze with a confident smile. "Well, would you like to test my skills?"

Veronica studied her for a moment, a faint smile tugging at her lips. "Interesting. Let's see if your actions match those words." She then shifted her focus to the deal papers.

After an engaging conversation and successfully singing the deal, Veronica sat back, impressed.

"You really know how to handle things, No doubt, why Ansh sent you here." she said, her voice full of respect.

Sophia smiled slightly, a hint of satisfaction in her eyes.

As Sophia stood to leave, Veronica's tone shifted, more serious. "Stay loyal to him, or it won't end well for you."

She paused, looking Sophia dead in the eyes. "Ansh isn't someone you want to cross. His trust is hard to earn, but once you lose it, you'll never get it back."

Sophia paused at the door, turning slightly to face Veronica. "Why?" she asked, her voice calm but curious.

Veronica's expression darkened slightly. "Because with him, betrayal is met with consequences you can't even imagine. And he doesn't forgive easily."

*************

At Ansh's office, Sophia handed Ansh the deal reports. He glanced through them, not immediately acknowledging her.

Sophia felt a sense of achievement, even when Ansh hadn't said anything yet, but her mind Began to race.

'What would happen if I betrayed him? '

'Is he really as ruthless as Veronica said?'

'What would be the consequences? '

Ansh broke the silence, his voice cold and direct. "You can't even imagine them."

Sophia's eyes widened in shock. She stammered, "S-sorry?"

Before he could answer her Leo entered the cabin swiftly, interrupting Ansh and Sophia. "We've caught him. He's in the basement, not ready to open his mouth"

Leo informed. "Think we need your touch down there."

Ansh stood, adjusting his jacket with a commanding presence.

Sophia felt a chill run down her spine, witnessing the ruthless side of Ansh she'd only heard about.

Before leaving, Ansh shot Sophia a sharp glare, a silent reminder of the world she was now part of.

************

Sophia was deep in thought when Naira burst into her cabin, practically bouncing with excitement.

"Guess what?" Naira grinned, unable to contain herself.

Sophia looked up, eyebrows raised. "What...?"

Nyra's smile widened. "Your boss is getting married!"

Sophia blinked, confused. "Wait, what? He's actually getting married?"

Sophia's curiosity was genuine.

"You don't know how badly I wanted him to get married," Naira explained eagerly.

"He's not marrying his chosen girl, but Dad gave him a time to choose , but nothing happen. Finally, Dad fixed his marriage with one of our business partner's daughter."

"Maybe a wife will soften him, because he's been really rude to us lately. There was a time he was soft, but not anymore. I just want a change in him," Naira shared.

Sophia absorbed Naira's words, pondering how this could shift the dynamics in the office and influence her own dealings with Ansh.

Naira gave Sophia one last hug, her cheerful demeanor leaving a lasting impression as she exited the room.

The news had unsettled her, but she pushed the distraction aside and focused on her tasks with determined resolve. Just as she was finding her rhythm, one of the staff knocked on her door. "Sophia, boss is calling you to his cabin. It's important," they informed her.

A familiar mix of nervousness and curiosity washed over Sophia as she prepared to face her enigmatic boss, wondering what the urgent meeting might entail.

Sophia stepped into Ansh's cabin, her mind racing but her demeanor professional. "Yes, boss. Is there anything important I can do?" she asked, trying to mask her anxiety. Ansh looked visibly frustrated and angry, his tension filling the room.

"Sophia," he began with a tight tone....
