As they formed their groups, the Kauravas and Ashwatthama quickly completed their team list, received their task sheet, and left the training ground to prepare. Seeing this, Bhima grew angry and said, "They left without even forming a group of seven as Guru Drona instructed. Now we have only five members in our team."

At that moment, they heard footsteps behind them. Turning around, they saw Yuyutsu approaching. He asked, "Can I join your group?" The Pandavas felt sorry for him, as Kauravas often used him for tasks and left him behind at other times. Yudhishthira replied, "Sure, it is a group activity after all." They then proceeded to write down their names and received their task sheet.

Guru Drona observed the scene, disappointed. He had hoped that by offering a reward, the cousins would work together. Instead, he saw that their feud was only growing stronger. With a heavy heart, he thought, "At least I hope they won't disappoint me in finishing the task."

As Guru Drona had already said, it is an assessment. Duryodhana planned that the elder ones in the group would be the leaders. When he learned that Yuyutsu was in the Pandavas' group, he didn't mind and said, "All servants are in one group, at least they have some self-awareness." He also told them to finish quickly and secure the winner's position, as he didn't want to lose to the Pandavas. They couldn't help each other by giving suggestions, as it might be considered cheating; they could only talk about their tasks within their own group. They tried to control themselves from asking Yuyutsu about the Pandavas' task because they didn't want to be marked as cheaters. Leaving in three months with such a mark in their forehead that to for one year would be a nightmare, and Mahamahim Bhishma could use it to make the Pandavas Yuvaraj. But if they win, Duryodhana could use it in his favor.

On the other side, the Pandavas, except Yudhishthira, were also having the same talk. Bheema said, "If they win, Duryodhana will make this a big event and force Maharaja Dhritarashtra to make him Yuvaraj. With Gandharaja Shakuni playing his games behind the scenes, it will be even more difficult. The title of Yuvaraj of Hastinapur rightfully belongs to our brother, so we need to finish the tasks within the time limit to win."

Hearing Bhima's fiery ideas, Yudhishthira said, "It is only to assess our overall capacity and what we have learned over the years. So don't overthink it."
