Mikha's Pov

"Ang aga-aga ata naka-active mode kasipagan mo captain Lim," Jho said.

"Wala lang," I said while smiling.

Naglalagay na kami ng food sa tables na para sa mga bata.

"Nalagyan na ba natin lahat ng table? Next sa table natin mga students," I said.

"Naninibago ako sayo Mikhs," Gwen said.

"Mahimbing lang talaga tulog ko," I said.

"Lagi naman mahimbing tulog mo eh," Jho said.

"Alam naman natin isa lang naman ang rason bakit ganyan si Mikha Lim," Colet said.

"Maraiah Queen Arceta," Jho and Gwen said at the same time.

"Samahan niyo na mga staff magtawag ng mga bata," I said.

"Gumagawa pa talaga ng paraan para makalusot eh," Jho said.

"Sige na magtawag na kayo," I said.

I made my eyes glow red for a bit, but I made sure na silang tatlo lang nakakita. Mabuti naka-cap ako, umalis na yung tatlo. Lumapit sakin si Belle, kasama niya si Kaori at Ashley.

"Sa tingin niyo siya na yung bata?" Kaori asked.

"May kutob ako," Belle said.

"Aiah said the kid was sleepwalking. It's impossible for a kid to sleepwalk and wake up behind a tree," I said.

Sheena told me how they found Iris.

"We have to make sure that she's really the one we're looking for," Ashley said.

"I guess I'm going to do it tonight then," I said.

"An alpha's roar," Belle said.

It's going to be my first time to roar as an alpha. Can I really do it? We have no choice; the kid might be Uncle Javier's daughter.

"Another topic, bakit ang aga mo nagising? Ikaw ah," Belle said.

"Bakit nagugulat kayo na ang aga ko nagising at ng kasipagan ko?" I asked.

"Kasi ang weird naman talaga," Belle said.

"Aiah said she missed me. I also said I missed her too," I said.

Belle punched my shoulder. Maka-suntok akala mo walang strength power.

"Maka-suntok ka naman Belle," Kaori said.

"Kinikilig ako, mag-heheal din naman yan kahit lakasan ko pa," Belle said.

"Ganyan si Belle mabilis kiligin sa ganyan usapan," Ashley said.

"May kutob ako na may iba pang sinabi si Aiah," Belle said.

"That's a secret," I said.

Kinurot ko pisngi ni Belle at lumapit na ako sa mga bata na kakarating kasama sila Colet na kasama na din Aiah. Ginabayan namin mga bata sa mga table at kumain na sila.

After a few minutes, kumain na din kami mga students ng umagahan. Hindi ko katabi si Aiah, kay Fons siya tumabi. Naiirita ako, binilisan ko nalang kumain.

"Mukhang nag-iba agad mood ni captain Lim," Jho said.

"I'm done eating," I said.

I stood up, then went to the woods near the garden of flowers.

"I hate this feeling; I have to go far from the orphanage," I said.

I let my eyes glow, fangs in my teeth, and claws coming out of my fingers. I ran around the woods, then I punched the nearby tree. Nag-marka ng malalim ang suntok ko. Ganito ba talaga kalakas ang pagiging alpha? Hindi ko pa pala na-test kung gaano ako lumakas. After a few minutes, I calmed down and was back in human form.

"Ate Mikha's strong," Iris said.

"Iris? Ano ginagawa mo dito? Hindi ka dapat nandito," I said.

"This is my safe place po. I feel comfortable just being in the woods," Iris said.

"The woods are not safe even for a kid," I said.

"But I'm strong too," Iris said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I can do this po," Iris said.

Iris quickly climbed the tree and jumped, then she punched the tree. She's really the one we're looking for; she's the daughter of Tito Javier. The lost cousin. I quickly hugged her. Her dad killed my dad, but she's still a family. Hindi ko napansin na naluha ako.

"Ate Mikha, you're crying," Iris said.

"I'm okay, Iris. I'm just happy," I said.

I let go of the hug and then patted her head.

"Can you do Ate Mikha a favor?" I asked.

"I can po," Iris said.

"Don't show anyone what you just did. Let's keep it a secret," I said.

"I'm already keeping it a secret po since the past few days," Iris said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I heard a roar. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw my eyes glow gold," Iris said.

Could it be the roar of Tito Javier? Only an alpha's roar can force shapeshifters of lower rank to either transform into their supernatural form or force them to shift back to their human form. He's not an alpha anymore, but he could have killed another alpha, but it's impossible in just a short time.

"I didn't tell anyone, but when I saw you punched the tree, I felt that I should tell you," Iris said.

"I'll also share a secret," I said.

I made my eyes glow red for a bit. Iris is smiling.

"Your eyes glowed but not the same color as mine," Iris said.

"We're family," I said.

"Family? They said I don't have family," Iris said.

"Yes, family," I said.

Iris hugged me; she's crying.

"I have a family," Iris said.

After a few minutes, Iris stopped crying.

"I'll take you out of this orphanage," I said.

I took out my phone and then sent a message to Belle and Coach Mickey. I won't waste any time letting Iris stay here in the orphanage. Not because we need her to make Tito Javier appear, but because she needs us, her family.

Umalis na kami sa woods ni Iris at papunta na sa garden of flowers. Slowly I told her about some basic things about our kind. Akala ko magagalit siya sa mga nalaman niya pero hindi. She's a smart kid; she knows to easily understand things.

Pagkadating namin sa garden of flowers. I picked flowers, then made a crown. I placed it on top of her head. We smiled at each other. She gathered flowers while I'm watching her.

"Mikhs, there you are." Colet said.

Dumating si Colet kasama sila Aiah, even Belle and her friends. Kasama din pala si Fons.

"Iris and I were just walking around," I said.

"Almost two hours kayo hindi mahagilap," Maloi said.

"Mag-sabi ka agad sa susunod kung nasaan ka Mikhs, pwede ka naman tumawag o mag-text," Colet said.

"Talagang mag-sabi siya kundi malalagot siya," Maloi said.

Napatawa ako sa dalawa, hindi ko alam kung bakit, pero parang parents ko ang dating nila.

"Hala tumatawa si Mikha," Sheena said.

"Idala na natin sa mental," Gwen said.

"Uy wag muna, need pa natin siya sa team," Jho said.

"Pwede ka naman mag-ambag sa team niyo Jho," Stacey said.

"Relax guys, masaya lang ako okay? Wag na kayo mag-alala," I said.

"Well, hindi lang kami ang nag-aalala," Colet said.

I know she's referring to Aiah. I was about to look at Aiah, but Iris taps my hand. I kneeled on one knee; may binulong siya sakin. Nag-usap kami saglit ng mahina ang boses.

"I heard the two of you last night po. Both of you said that you missed each other," Iris said.

"Akala ko tulog kana kagabi," I said.

"My hearing powers po," Iris said.

"Ikaw ah," I said.

"You said we're family. I'm going to help you with ate Aiah po. Family helps each other," Iris said.

May nilabas siya na flower bouquet sa likod niya. It's the flowers she picked. I noticed there are sunflowers and jasmine. Iris nods at me; I know what I need to do.

I stood up, then went close to Aiah. All of our friends, even Fons, step away for a bit. Making me and Aiah be in the center.

"Flowers for you, Captain of the archery team, Ms. Maraiah Queen Arceta," I said.

She took the flowers, and she's seriously looking at me. Come on, Mikha Lim, talk.

"I meant what I said last night. I'm more scared to lose you. Our friends know how much I missed you. Every night I made excuses to go out, just to pass by your house and eat ice cream alone in the near 7/11 store. When you have late practices, I made sure na kahit sa malayuan, makita kita makauwi ng ligtas," I said.

I took a deep breath, then looked into her eyes.

"I even got jealous of Fons. You thought he was the one giving the bouquets, but that was me. I know malakas pag-iwas ko sayo in these past few weeks, but that was what I felt needed to give you space. Then this field trip happened, and I took this chance to finally talk to you. Is it okay to have my childhood bestfriend back?" I asked.

Aiah suddenly hugged me. I looked at everyone around us. They are smiling.

"Took you long enough, Mikha Lim," Aiah said.

We hugged for a few seconds, then she punched my shoulder. She's really strong, especially since she's a hunter.

"Well, that's not the only thing I want to ask," I said.

I took out a sky blue braided bracelet from my pocket.

"I, Mikhaela Janna Jimenea Lim, would like to ask you, Ms. Maraiah Queen Arceta, if I could court you? This time, I'm going to risk asking too. I love you, I really do love you. I keep on denying it, but I kept on falling deeper to you," I said.

I know that I can feel everyone's heartbeat with my powers, but this time, I can't hear anything. It's like the time stopped around us, and I kept focusing my eyes on Aiah.

"I think you got the wrong question," Aiah said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"You don't need to court me because I'm already yours. I love you too, Mikha Lim. I've already fallen for you too," Aiah said.

After Aiah said those words, she kissed me on the lips. It's like the kiss made the time flow again. I kissed her back. We kissed for a few seconds, then we stopped and connected our foreheads. I can hear the others cheering for us. I put the bracelet on Aiah's wrist.

"Slow down with the kissing, please. May bata dito," Gwen said.

"Nag-salita ang lagi kinikiss ng girlfriend," Jho said.

"At least sa cheeks lang," Gwen said.

"Mamaya bebe kiss din kita sa lips," Sheena said.

"Huy may bata," Colet said.

"Sa wakas, okay na din kayo," Maloi said.

"May karapatan na din mag-selos," Stacey said.

"I'm not jealous," Aiah and I said at the same time.

"Sabay pa talaga kayo napa-amin," Sheena said.

"I already said that I even got jealous of Fons," I said.

"Okay, I admit. I got jealous of Belle," Aiah said.

Nagpipigil ng tawa ang mga friends namin.

"Wag niyo na pigilan tawa niyo," I said.

"Why are you guys laughing?" Aiah asked.

"It's because you don't need to be jealous of Belle," Gwen said.

"Huh?" Aiah asked.

"Pinsan lang nila Mikha si Belle," Colet said.

"What??" Aiah asked.

"Hi Aiah," Belle said.

Belle hugged Aiah.

"Aiah, be patient sa pinsan namin. May pagka-topakin din yan," Belle said.

"Grabe, support Belle ah," I said.

"Don't worry, Belle. Ako bahala sa slow na ito," Aiah said.

"Minsan lang naman ako slow," I said.

"You're the cutest naman, Mikha Lim," Aiah said.

Aiah pinched my cheek while smiling. I smiled back.

"I guess my mission is a success," Fons said.

"Mission?" All of us said at the same time to Fons.

"Mikha, you don't need to worry about getting jealous because of me," Fons said.

"Why is that?" I asked.

"I like Aiah, but it's because I'm her cousin," Fons said.

"Cousin??" I asked.

"Wait, Fons, cousin?" Aiah asked.

"Yes, actually kilala din ako ni Belle. Bestfriend ko ang boyfriend niya," Fons said.

I glared at Belle.

"Belinda." I said.

"Oops, peace Mj." Belle said.

"Mikha pinapasabi pala ni Kuya Bryan na advance pagpasensyahan mo daw si Aiah," Fons said.

"Wow, galing din talaga support ng Kuya ko ah," Aiah said.

"I'll always be patient with Aiah," I said.

I held Aiah's hand and then kissed its back.

"Kinikilig ako na couple na ang mikhaiah, pero natatawa ako na nag-seselos kayo sa mga pinsan," Stacey said.

"Yehey, finally Ate Mikha and Ate Aiah," Iris said.

Lumapit sakin si Iris, I patted her head.

"Iris, thanks for the help," I said.

"Samin walang, thank you?" Jho asked.

"Sa pagkaka-alam ko si Maloi ang nakatulong sakin dahil siya nag-sulat sa list na partners kami ni Aiah dito sa field trip," I said.

"Staku oh kampihan mo ako," Jho said.

"Wala ako naririnig," Stacey said.

"Thank you everyone," I said while smiling.

"Operation: Captain-Captain is a success," Jho said.

"Captain-Captain?" I asked.

"Jho made that name operation ng plan nila pagkausapin tayo," Aiah said.

"Ang baduy naman Jho," I said.

"Grabe talaga kayo sakin," Jho said while pouting.

"Staku kampihan mo na, baka mag-tampo na yan," Aiah said.

"Subukan niya magtampo," Stacey said.

Stacey gave a quick kiss to Jho's right cheek. Tinakpan agad ni Aiah ang mata ni Iris.

"Huy may bata," I said.

"Kiss lang pala galing kay Stacey ang magpapatahimik sa isang Jhoanna Robles," Colet said.

"Tara na guys habang tulala pa siya," I said.

Naglalakad na kami except kay Jho na tulala pa.

"Shet! Kiniss ako ni Stacey," Jho said.

Rinig namin sigaw ni Jho. Napatawa nalang kami kahit si Stacey.

"Tama lang na hindi ako nakipagpustahan sayo," I said.

"Imposible manalo ka sakin, hulog na hulog si Jho kay Stacey," Aiah said.

"Sa pustahan talo ako pero sa puso mo panalo ako," I said while smiling.

"Dahan-dahan sa pagpapakilig Lim," Aiah said.

She smiled back at me, then pinched my cheek. Ako pa ata kikiligin lalo sa smile mo palang.
