Gelo's Pov

"How is the situation?" Javier Lim said.

"They are still on high alert," I said.

"I guess my niece is really smart," Javier Lim said.

Javier Lim, the uncle of our former alpha Enzo Lim. We met him when Nate and I were walking in the woods. He's our alpha now; he killed another alpha and then took it's power.

"But I'm still smarter," Javier Lim said.

"What's the plan, boss?" I asked.

"Let's give them a little bit of a surprise, when the timing is right. Try to get my daughter, whatever it takes. This is the chance for the both of you to show me your loyalty," Javier Lim said.

"Yes, boss," I said.

"This is your chance, the both of you. Prove yourself to me," Javier Lim said.

Nate and I went out of the room and left the house. It's one of his properties that is not on the list of known Lim properties.

"Gelo, are you sure we have to follow him?" Nate asked.

"I want to prove myself; we're werewolves now," Gelo said.

"Look what already happened. Mikki and JL are already dead because we didn't think before taking actions. We let our inner wolf take over," Nate said.

"I'm willing to kill, especially if it's Mikha Lim," Gelo said.

"She's an alpha now, and she's friends with the hunters," Nate said.

"Nate, I don't care. Either you will help me to get his daughter or both of us will get killed if we don't prove ourselves to him," Gelo said.

My other motive is not only to prove myself but to also get the alpha power from Mikha Lim. After that, I'll finally have Aiah Arceta for myself.

Colet's Pov

"Colet rest ka muna. Si Sophia mag-sub para sayo," Coach Mickey said.

Bumangga ako sa barrier ng hinabol ko yung bola. Ongoing ang semifinals game namin. Nagpa-timeout si Coach Mickey.

"Coach, kaya ko pa," I said.

"Wag mo na pilitin. Rest ka muna at ibabalik ka din ni Coach," Gwen said.

"Guys, kaya ko pa nga," I said.

"Colet look at the bleachers. Maloi is worried," Jho said.

I look at Maloi in the bleachers; she's with the girls. Halata sa mata niya pag-aalala. They are right; I agreed to rest for a bit.



Mikha alternately sets to Sophia, Gwen, and Jho. They made sure to keep scoring and not let the opposite team get close to our score.



"Coach, put me back in," I said.

"I was about to do that," Coach Mickey said.

He pats my shoulder.

"Vergara, end the game. Take us again to the finals," Coach Mickey said.

"Yes, coach," I said.

I went to the substitution zone and got back in the court. The others patted my back.

"Mikhs, give me your best sets," I said.

"Semifinals palang pero magpapakitang gilas na," Jho said.

"Boang, let's get to the finals again," I said.

"Okay, Colet. Keep up with my speed," Mikha said.

"Of course, Captain," I said while smiling.

I did a quick look at Maloi, who is already leaning on the barrier behind the bench. She's still worried. I focused on the game. Every set that Mikha makes for me, I make sure to score.



"Hi, Nicolette," Chie said.

Currently, I'm on the front row. Katapat ko si Chie Filomeno, niligawan ko dati. Hindi ko tinuloy panliligaw ko dahil ginamit niya lang pala ako para makipagbalikan sa kanya ang ex niya.

"Hello, Chie," I said.

"Wanna grab some dinner after the game? My treat," Chie said.

"No thanks. Focus on the game," I said.

May sasabihin pa sana si Chie, pero hindi na ako nakinig. I see the ball is going to be set to me. I made a quick spike, making the ball hit the floor at the back row.

We won, and we're in the finals again. My teammates are cheering for me, binuhat ako ni Mikha at Gwen. Mga boang talaga.

"Hoy baba niyo na ako," I said.

"Sigurado player of the game ito," Jho said.

Binaba na nila ako ng tinawag ako para mag-interview. Tama nga sabi ni Jho. Hindi pa din naman ako mahilig sa ganito interview, no choice.

"Colet congratulation for being the player of the game," Courtside Reporter said.

"Thank you po," I said.

"Pina-sub out ka kanina dahil sa pagka-bangga mo sa barrier," Courtside Reporter said.

"Yes po, pero sinigurado ko din na nakabawi ako pagkabalik ko sa court," I said.

"Lakas nga ng pagbawi mo, bawat bola score agad para sa team niyo," Courtside Reporter said.

"Of course po, we just played with our love for volleyball," I said.

"Volleyball lang ba ang love mo? I heard that each one of the papi line in your team has a special someone," Courtside Reporter said.

Kita ko mapang-asar na tingin ng mga teammates ko lalo na sila Mikha. Namumula ba ako? Kagulat naman na tanong ng courtside reporter. Syempre sasagutin ko ng honest.

"I have a special someone. Her name is Mary Loi Yves Ricalde. My one and only exception," I said while smiling.

Lumakas naman pag-cheer sa buong arena. Natapos na yung interview at diretso kami nagpalit sa locker room.

"Ang galing ng POG namin," Gwen said.

"Sinabi pa talaga buong name ni Ate Maloi," Sophia said.

"Mga boang wag niyo siya asarin." I said.

"Kami hindi pero sila Aiah sure inaasar na siya," Mikha said.

"Saan na pala sila?" I asked.

"Sinamahan ata nila kunin mga gamit ng team sa bench," Jho said.

Mabuti nakapagpalit na ako kaagad, nakasalubong ko sila Aiah na kasama si Iris. Niyakap ko muna si Iris.

"Si Yves?" I asked.

"Nagpa-iwan pero papunta na siya dito," Aiah said.

Bumalik ako sa court, may kausap si Maloi. Si Chie?

"Baka dahil lang student team manager ka ng team kaya ka niya nagustuhan. Hindi kayo bagay, ibigay mo nalang sakin si Nicolette," Chie said.

"Sino ka ba para sabihin yan kay Maloi?" I asked.

Lumapit ako at hinawakan kamay ni Maloi.

"Nicolette totoo naman na hindi kayo bagay," Chie said.

"Tigilan mo nga pagtawag sakin ng Nicolette. Mas pipiliin ko si Maloi ang magtawag sakin niyan kaysa ikaw," I said.

Ramdam ko naka-tingin sakin si Maloi.

"For your information, hindi mo maiintindihan kung bakit ko nagustuhan si Maloi dahil kakaiba ang love na naramdaman ko sa kanya. Chie unlike you, sinayang mo ang time ko, and hindi mo kaya mag-appreciate ng tao," I said.

"Babawi ako, kahit ano gagawin ko," Chie said.

"Stop it, Chie!" I said.

"Hindi kayo bagay!" Chie said.

"Mahal na mahal ko si Maloi!" I said.

"Hindi yan totoo," Chie said.

"Umalis kana Chie, ang dami nakatingin. Pinapahiya mo lang sarili mo," I said.

Meron pa din mga tao na palabas palang ng arena. Mga iba may hawak pa na phone nakatutok samin. Inis na inis umalis si Chie.

"Uyab kalma," Maloi said.

Ang lakas ng loob insultuhin ang girlfriend ko. Maloi fixed my hair, then did a kiss on my cheek.

"Ikalma mo na si anger," Maloi said.

"Isa pa daw na kiss, sa lips uyab," I said.

Kinurot niya tagiliran ko.

"Pasimple ka pa eh. Wag ka mag-alala kay Chie, kaya ko naman siya," Maloi said.

I pinched her cheek.

"Kahit na. I won't let anyone insult my girlfriend," I said.

She smiled and then hugged me.



"Ehem ehem macolet," Jho said.

"Sigurado sila ang trending sa BiniU," Mikha said.

"Ganda ng scene na yun," Gwen said.

Nasa tabi lang pala ang papi line kasama sila Aiah at Iris.

"Bravo Colet," Stacey said.

"Lumabas si anger," Aiah said.

"Ang sweet ng parents ko," Sheena said.

Napa-smile naman ako sa mga friends namin. Mapang-asar pero always supportive.

"Tara dinner sa Ricalde restaurant. Tayong walo kasama si Iris, treat ko," Maloi said.

"Ako mag-treat," I said.

"Treat ni boss Colet, let's go," Jho said.

"Bilis makapag-let's go basta treat ng iba," Mikha said.

"Hindi pwede masayang ang treat," Stacey said.

"Wow, agree din si Staks kay Jho," Maloi said.

"Pag dating sa food, yang dalawa ang buddy," I said.

"Akala ko si Gwen at Sheena ang food buddies," Mikha said.

"Last week nakita ko kumain ng balot si Jho at Stacey," Aiah said.

"Wala na po pinag-uusapan niyo, nauna na naglakad," Iris said.

Nasa ligawan stage palang yung dalawa pero mukha naman in a relationship. Sumunod na din kami lumabas ng arena. Pinauna na daw ni Mikha umuwi mga ibang teammates pati staffs at Coach Mickey.

Nakarating na kami Ricalde restaurant, may naka-reserved na agad na table para samin.

Seating arrangement:

Maloi - Iris - Aiah - Stacey - Jho Me - Mikha - Gwen - Sheena

"Hindi po ako makapili." Iris said.

"I'll help you." Maloi said.

I look at Maloi while she's helping Iris choose. Mahilig din siya sa kids. During the field trip, Nakaka-tuwa paano siya close agad sa mga bata.

"Anong tingin yan Nicolette?" Mikha said.

"Piskit ka talaga Janna," I said.

"Ito naman, nagtatanong lang." Mikha said.

"Normal na tingin lang." I said.

"Parang tingin sa mag-ina eh," Mikha said.

"Ang advance mo mag-isip," I said.

"Sabihin mo lang kung iiwan mo si Maloi at malagot ka samin nila Gwen," Mikha said.

"I won't do that to her," I said.

"It's the first time she fell in love. I already trust you Colet," Mikha said.

"Thanks, Mikhs. Wag mo din iiwan si Aiah," I said.

"You already know she's my home," Mikha said while smiling.

Nag-fist bump kami ni Mikha.

"Anong meron at may pa-fist bump ang captain at vice captain?" Jho said.

"Akala ko busy ka pumipili ng order mo," I said.

"Nakapili na yan. Sinulit niya na treat mo," Stacey said.

"Siguraduhin mauubos mo Robles," I said.

"Uyab kalma," Maloi said.

"Yes, uyab," I said.

"Vergara tiklop," Jho said.

"Hephep sa Papi House na kayo mag-wrestling," Gwen said.

Siguro minsan lang talaga walang bardagulan na nangyayare samin papi line. After a few minutes, dumating din mga order namin.

"Looks like same day ang final game ng archery at volleyball team. Coach Mickey just sent me the schedule," Mikha said.

"That would be next week," I said.

In the morning is the archery's game, and at night would be our finals game.

"Sure ako mananalo sila Aiah sa game nila," Gwen said.

"Sa game natin, mapapalaban tayo," Jho said.

"I know mananalo po kayo sa mga game niyo," Iris said.

"Gwen, Jho be optimistic. Gayahin niyo si Iris," I said.

"Every kid at her age is optimistic," Sheena said.

"Parang ikaw Shee," I said.

"Bebe inaaway ako ni Colet," Sheena said.

"Hindi natin siya bati bebe," Gwen said.

"Walang magkikiss, may bata," I said.

"Nag-salita ang kiniss sa pisngi kanina," Mikha said.

"Wala ako naririnig, ikain niyo lang yan," I said.

I smiled while putting food on Maloi's plate, and she smiled back at me.

After eating, we went home to the Papi House. Maloi and Iris will be sleeping here tonight. They're going to be in the guest room.

I invited Maloi for a walk in the park near Papi House and sumama si Iris.

"What are you thinking right now?" Maloi asked.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Nakakunot kasi noo mo," Maloi said.

"Just thinking about Mikha and Aiah. I'm happy seeing them together as a couple," I said.

"I feel the same way," Maloi said.

"Nauna na nangyare mga challenges sa kanila; first is the Kuya Bryan issue, then yung pag-iiwasan nila," I said.

"We're going to be there for them. Don't worry, uyab," Maloi said.

"What I worry is what if there's a challenge for them that they can't overcome?" I asked.

"It's going to be okay. No one gives up in this pack," Maloi said.

"Pack?" I asked.

"A pack isn't always just us supernaturals; it's also with you hunters. We're a pack and family. Well, Mikha is our alpha," Maloi said.

"You're right, uyab. I'll also do anything just to protect this pack," I said.

Maloi pinched my cheeks while I fixed her hair. Iris came close to us.

"Ate Colet, let's go back," Iris said.

"Tapos kana ba maglaro Iris?" Maloi asked.

"Someone's coming po," Iris said.

"Baka sila Mikha," I said.

"The scent is different po," Iris said.

"Uyab, let's go," Maloi said.

Hinawakan ni Maloi kamay namin ni Iris at hinila maglakad na pabalik sa Papi house.

"Uyab, slow down," I said.

"We can't. Someone might die," Maloi said.

One of Maloi's powers is that she can predict when someone is about to die.

"Well, someone will die if you're not going to give us the kid," Gelo said.

Gelo and Nate appeared. Pinunta ko agad sa likod namin si Iris. It's a good thing may dala ako na pistol at dagger. Mikha's right to be on high alert. I gave the dagger to Maloi.

"We'll distract the both of them," Maloi said.

"Iris, I want you to run," I said.

"A hunter and a banshee fighting us? Don't even try," Gelo said.

"Just give us the kid," Nate said.

"Don't underestimate a banshee," Maloi said.

"Iris, get ready to run," I said.
