Third Person's Pov

Several months went by. Mikha and Aiah have been very busy, especially with the announcement of the schedules for sports competitions. This means practically daily practice after class.

"Sheena, focus on your aiming. Stacey, fix your stance," Aiah said.

"Yes, captain," Sheena and Stacey said at the same time.

After a few minutes, the archery team took a rest. From inside the gym, they can hear the ball striking the floor and Mikha's words clearly.

"Looks like Mikha's in her captain mode again," Stacey said.

"Super captain mode," Colet said.

Lumapit si Colet kila Aiah. May dala siya na dalawang water jug. Halata na tag-isa for the volleyball and archery teams.

"Water jug niyo pinapadala ng coach niyo," Colet said.

"Thanks, Colet," Aiah said.

"Colet paki-bigay kay Gwen itong chocolate," Sheena said.

"Sure, Shee. Ikaw Staks wala ka ipapabigay kay Jho?" Colet asked.

"Wala," Stacey said.

"Staks may chocolate ka kaya binili para kay Jho," Aiah said.

"Ah ganun tayo Aiah, pag practice break hindi ka naka-leader mode," Stacey said.

"At least hindi ako in denial na may ipapabigay," Aiah said.

"Alam naman namin kanino mo ipapabigay," Sheena said.

"Colet pakibigay ito kay Mikha. Sinabi ko kasi na gagawan ko ulit siya ng cookies," Aiah said.

Hawak na ni Colet mga pinapabigay nila Aiah.

"Eh sakin wala kayo ibibigay? Tampo na ako niyan," Colet said.

"Bawi kami sayo after practice, hangout tayo sa milktea shop sa labas. Libre ni Aiah," Stacey said.

"Talaga sakin ipapasa ang manlibre. Oo ako manlibre mamaya," Aiah said.

"Sige girls kita-kits mamaya," Colet said.

Colet returned to the gym. The team is taking a practice break. Mikha, Gwen, and Jho are about to sit on the bleachers. Ibinigay niya mga pinapabigay ni Aiah.

"Thanks, Colet," Mikha said.

"Tatampo na sana ako sa kila Aiah, kasi wala binigay sakin pero may hangout kami after practice, may manlibre daw," Colet said.

"Hula ko hindi si Stacey at Sheena ang manlilibre," Jho said.

"Kilala niyo naman yung dalawa," Colet said.

Napatawa silang apat. Lumapit si Maloi sa kanila, binigyan niya ng cookies si Colet.

"Thanks, Yves," Colet said.

"Wag kayo hihingi kay Colet, sa kanya lang yan," Maloi said.

"May favoritism ka Loi," Jho said.

"Fruits muna dadalhin ko para sa team, dahan-dahan kayo sa cookies," Maloi said.

"Eh bakit si Colet lang meron cookies?" Gwen asked.

"Kasi may mga nagbigay na sa inyo kaya solo niya yan," Maloi said.

"I'll treat you guys later, after practice," Mikha said.

"Mikhs sabay nalang kaya kayo samin mamaya? Sa milktea shop," Colet said.

"Sure," Mikha said.

"Nice, two captains ang mag-treat mamaya," Jho said.

"Pambawi ko na din sa inyo; I know our teammates are also tired from practice. Bibigyan ko sila pambili ng snacks," Mikha said.

After the practice break, the practice of both teams continues.

Mikha was focused on the team when she noticed a familiar scent. She looks at the entrance door. It's her brother approaching Coach Mickey's office.

"Mikhs si Kuya Enzo," Gwen said.

"Mikhs, that's your brother?" Colet asked.

"Yes, he just got home a few months ago," Mikha said.

Mikha tried to focus on the practice, but she felt something was off from her brother.

"Colet take the lead. I'll just go to coach," Mikha said.

Colet nodded, and Mikha went into Coach Mickey's office. Enzo is sitting on the chair, his claws out. Mikha swiftly locked the door.

"I'm asking again, where is it?" Enzo asked.

"Kuya, what are you doing? Coach Mickey, I can explain," Mikha said.

Coach Mickey remains calm while looking at the Lim siblings.

"He already knows what we are. He's the pack's emissary," Enzo said.

"Coach, you're a druid," Mikha said.



"Yes, I am. What you're looking for is not in my possession anymore," Coach Mickey said.

"We need it. I need it," Enzo said.

"I gave it to the Arceta family, your parents bestfriend," Coach Mickey said.

Enzo was about to hold Coach Mickey's neck when Mikha held his hand.

"Don't you dare do that to coach," Mikha said.

"Remember, I'm the alpha of our pack," Enzo said.

"You only became an alpha with the help of the Arceta family. They helped you kill Javier Lim," Coach Mickey said.

"Kuya akala ko ba mag-isa mo kinalaban si Tito Javier?" Mikha asked.

"Hindi ba sinabi ni Kuya mo? Humingi siya ng tulong dahil hindi niya kaya mag-isa," Coach Mickey said.

"I earned this power," Enzo said.

"Kuya, calm down. Don't make a mess just like your new betas," Mikha said.

Mikha let go of Enzo's hand.

"I'll talk to the Arceta family. I'll get dad's claws," Mikha said.

Enzo left the office.

"Coach, why didn't you tell me who you are?" Mikha asked.

"Because your dad told me not to," Coach Mickey said.

Coach Mickey stood up from his seat and handed Mikha a coin. It is inscribed with a unique symbol. On one side is the Lim's pack symbol, while on the other is a bow and arrow.

"But I changed my mind when I saw you last year on a beach during summer break. Something happened to you and your friends that you didn't even tell your family," Coach Mickey said.

FLASHBACK

It's summer break. Mikha and her three bestfriends went to a beach. It was supposed to be a fun time, but they didn't expect that there were two male hunters who had been observing them since they arrived.

Maloi, Jho, and Gwen are taken to an abandoned mansion. Maloi was separated from the two. Mabuti hindi nakasama si Mikha na na-kidnapped. She followed the hunters so she could rescue her friends.

"Please let us go," Jho said.

"We didn't kill anyone. We're just students on vacation," Gwen said.

"You didn't kill yet, but someday you will kill someone. You're monsters," Hunter 1 said.

"Let go of our friend. She's a banshee and not a werewolf," Jho said.

"She's still a supernatural that can kill a human," Hunter 2 said.

"We won't kill, please," Gwen said.

"I don't believe that," Hunter 2 said.

Mikha is behind the hunters. Slowly, she went closer and knocked them out with her strength.

"We're monsters but not killers," Mikha said.

"Mikhs mabuti dumating ka," Jho said.

"Where's Maloi?" Mikha asked.

"Nasa kabilang lounge siya bago kami pinaghiwalay," Gwen said.

Tinali na muna nila mga hunters at sinigurado na ni-lock ang room para hindi makasunod sa kanila. The three of them went to the other lounge area.

Maloi's hands are tied to a hanging rope. They were about to go close to her when they noticed mountain ash powder circled in Maloi's position. They saw that their friend was getting tired.

"Guys," Maloi said.

"Loi, we're here," Mikha said.

"H-Help," Maloi said.

"Mikhs may barrier, paano natin isasave si Maloi?" Jho asked.

"Sabay-sabay tayong tatlo, let's use our strength to break through," Mikha said.

The three of them tried, but they couldn't go through. Mikha suddenly heard a voice to try again, but only her, and no one should help her. She tried again. She felt a different kind of power for a short time, but it didn't break the barrier.

Suddenly they heard a gunshot that shot the hanging rope Maloi was being tied. Naputol yung rope, natumba sa floor si Maloi sabay sinipa niya yung mountain ash powder para makalapit na sila Mikha.

END OF FLASHBACK

"The voice was you. You were the one who helped Maloi," Mikha said.

"That's me. You felt a different kind of power, right? It's the power of a true alpha. You activated it," Coach Mickey said.

"Wait, true alpha? That's a myth coach, imposible yan," Mikha said.

"How is it impossible when you felt it that time? I saw your eyes were about to turn red," Coach Mickey said.

"Like the eyes of an alpha," Mikha said.

"Don't tell this to your brother. He may be the alpha, but I don't trust him yet. Especially some of his betas are losing control," Coach Mickey said.

The new betas of Lim's pack are Aki, Gelo, Nate, Mikki, and JL. They are part of the basketball team. Only Aki and JL are the nice people, while the rest are bullies.

"Show the coin to Aiah's parents. They will know what to do," Coach Mickey said.

"Thank you, coach," Mikha said.

Mikha left the coach's office. She's still a bit shocked by all the information, but she didn't let anyone notice it. After practice, she acts normal when they are hanging out with Aiah and her friends.

"Gagawa kami ng banner para sa first game niyo girls," Jho said.

"Ay talaga lang Robles," Stacey said.

"Syempre mag-checheer ako sayo princess," Jho said.

"Kinikilabutan ako pag ikaw nagtatawag sakin ng princess," Stacey said.

"Ayan na naman kayong dalawa," Colet said.

"Lakas kasi ng topak ni Jho," Stacey said.

"Oops, Jho tama na," Mikha said.

"Bilis talaga tumigil mag-salita pag captain na nagpatigil," Gwen said.

"Mahirap umangal sa captain," Sheena said.

"Relax lang kasi guys. Enjoy lang natin ito," Aiah said.

"Aiah's right. By the way, thanks for the cookies," Mikha said.

"Your welcome, Mikhs. Next week bigyan kita ulit," Aiah said.

"No cookies muna for the volleyball team," Maloi said.

"Maloi," Jho, Gwen, Colet, and Mikha said at the same time.

"Fruits muna daw sabi ni coach, meaning wala muna magbibigay ng chocolates or cookies," Maloi said.

"Eh paano yung mga girls na nagbibigay samin lalo na kay Mikha?" Colet asked.

"Ako kukuha at kakain. Pag may dark chocolate ay ishashare ko kila Aiah," Maloi said.

"Naunsa mani oy," Mikha said.

Napa-pout ang papi line. Napa-smile si Aiah. Minsan lang nila marinig mag-bisaya si Mikha. After one hour, naisipan na nila umuwi.

"Ahm, Aiah gusto mo sumabay sakin?" Mikha asked.

"Sure, Mikhs," Aiah said.

Sinabihan na ni Aiah sila Colet na kay Mikha na siya sasabay. Mikha is using her motorcycle again. Sakto pagkadating sa tapat ng Arceta house ay nasa labas dad ni Aiah, Diego Arceta.

"Good evening, Tito Diego," Mikha said.

"Good evening too, Mikha. I just visited your parents grave," Mr. Arceta said.

"I'll visit them tomorrow," Mikha said.

"Sama ako sayo Mikhs," Aiah said.

"No need, Aiah. You need rest lalo malapit na first game niyo," Mikha said.

"Mikha's right, pasok kana nak," Mr. Arceta said.

"Goodnight Mikhs," Aiah said.

"Goodnight Aiah," Mikha said.

Naiwan sa labas si Mikha at si Mr. Arceta.

"Tito, someone told me to show you this," Mikha said.

She showed the coin.

"Looks like it's time. Mikha, let's meet tomorrow at your parents vacation house in the woods after your volleyball practice. Don't bring your brother. Only bring Gwen and Jho with you," Mr. Arceta said.

"Sige po Tito," Mikha said.

When Mikha got home, she told Gwen and Jho in their group chat that they're going to the vacation house in the woods after tomorrow's practice.

Mikha just finished taking a bath when her phone lit up. Someone messaged her, it's Aiah.

Mikha placed her phone on her study table, then went downstairs to eat dinner. Kasabay niya kumain si Gwen. Patapos na sila kumain ng dumating si Enzo kasama si Gelo at Aki.

"Gwen tara na sa taas," Mikha said.

"Hi Mikhs," Gelo said.

"Hi Mikhs," Aki said.

"Only my friends call me Mikhs, and Aki is my friend," Mikha said.

"Bunso they are part of the pack," Enzo said.

"I already accepted them, but only Aki and JL are my friends," Mikha said.

Mikha and Gwen were about to go upstairs when Gelo spoke.

"Your friend, Aiah Arceta. Maybe I can make my move now," Gelo said.

Mikha quickly pinned Gelo on the wall.

"Don't you dare get close to Aiah," Mikha said.

"Why? We're in the same school, and I like her," Gelo said.

"I'm warning you, Gelo," Mikha said.

"Bunso, calm down," Enzo said.

"Tell your beta to back off Kuya. One wrong move and you'll see a different Mikhaela Lim," Mikha said.

Mikha and Gwen went back to their rooms.

"Your sister is quite strong, but that won't stop me from pursuing Aiah," Gelo said.

"Gelo, listen to her warning. I know my sister," Enzo said.
