Third Person's Pov

"Gwen what's happening?" Aiah asked.

"Aiah, keep running," Gwen said.

"This island hopping is a bad idea," Jho said.

The girls are island hopping when suddenly Gwen and Jho are pulling the others back to the yacht, where Mikha and Colet are on the deck.

"Jho, answer my question," Aiah said.

"Later Aiah, just keep running," Jho said.



"Mikha! Colet!" Gwen said.

Mikha and Colet are running towards the others. They are near the yacht when Gwen pushed Aiah and Sheena. The eight girls looked behind them. A large tree branch is pinning Gwen on the ground.

Someone is emerging from the shadow of the woods. A werewolf in full lupine form, not in partially. Mikha and Colet quickly removed the tree branch on top of Gwen.

"Mikhs, who is that?" Aiah asked.

"Javier Lim," Mikha said.

Mikha's uncle, the one who killed his own brother. Aiah thought Mikha's brother had already killed him when he took his Alpha power. He transformed into human form.

"You're really being friends with the hunters," Javier Lim said.

"Tito, please stop this," Mikha said.

"And now your girlfriend is from the family of the one who killed your mom. What a disappointment," Javier Lim said.

"It was a misunderstanding, no reason for revenge," Mikha said.

"You're blinded by them," Javier Lim said.

Mikha's uncle is slowly transforming back to full lupine form.

"Aiah, go back to the yacht with the others. We'll distract him," Mikha said.

"Mikha no, I'll stay," Aiah said.

"This is a fight between us werewolves. Take Gwen back with you," Mikha said.

"But love," Aiah said.

"No buts. Please go," Mikha said.

Mikha kissed Aiah's forehead, then she transformed to partially lupine form with Colet and Jho.

Maloi took Aiah's hands while Stacey and Sheena helped Gwen walk towards the yacht. Aiah looked back first at Mikha, before walking towards the yacht.

They got back on the yacht. Aiah quickly looks for weapons inside the yacht.

"Aiah, don't," Gwen said.

"I have to help Mikha," Aiah said.

"She doesn't want you to do that. The four of you have to stay here until it ends," Gwen said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Gwen told them the revenge symbol coming from their uncle. They had a feeling that he would come during this trip.

"Mikha gave me, Jho, and Colet a mission to protect the four of you," Gwen said.

"We don't need protection; I need to go back there," Aiah said.

"Kuya Bryan and Kuya Enzo will come. That's why Mikha and the others are distracting him," Gwen said.

"I really want to help Mikha. I want to fight with her," Aiah said.

"Bebe, let Aiah help. You can't help Mikha yet; you're still healing," Sheena said.

Gwen looked at Sheena first before looking back at Aiah; she took a deep breath.

"Loi, give the box to Aiah, the one I told you to hide earlier," Gwen said.

Maloi gave Aiah the box. Inside is a collapsible bow and lots of arrows.

"No wonder I felt something weird before coming to this trip. You guys were planning something," Maloi said.

"Sorry girls, we thought Iris was the main target, but it looks like it's Mikha," Gwen said.

Aiah took the bow and arrows from the box. This time she's using this as a hunter and not as an archery player.

"Aiah, help them for a bit while my bones are still healing," Gwen said.

Aiah nodded at Gwen, then went out of the yacht. She saw Jho was tossed aside while Mikha and Colet were standing up from the ground. She quickly shot an arrow at the shoulder of Javier Lim. He removed the arrow and growled at her.

"Aiah, what are you doing? You should not have come back," Mikha said.

"I'm a hunter; I can protect myself," Aiah said.

She shot another arrow at Javier Lim, but he caught it.

"You have a brave girlfriend here. What a shame that she will die," Javier Lim said.

"Touch her; you're dead," Mikha said.

"Let's see you try, my dear niece," Javier Lim said.

Mikha and Colet attacked Javier Lim while Aiah helped Jho stand up first.

Aiah shot some arrows at Javier Lim when she knew it's time to shoot.

Suddenly Mikha, Jho, and Colet are tossed aside at the same time.

"I'm out of arrows," Aiah said.

"Let me take it from here, sis," Bryan said.

Bryan and Enzo appeared from the woods.

"Another disappointment; both siblings are friends with the hunters," Javier Lim said.

"Tito Javier, revenge is not the way," Enzo said.

"It is the only way. Hunters kill werewolves, and he killed Mina!" Javier Lim said.

Javier Lim angrily looks at Bryan Arceta.

"You love her," Aiah said.

"Aiah, what are you saying?" Mikha asked.

"Your uncle loves your mom," Aiah said.

Mikha looks at her uncle, who's still looking at Aiah's brother.

"I'm Mina's best friend; I was supposed to be the one she marries. Then my brother appeared; she fell in love with him, then she had Enzo and Mikha," Javier Lim said.

"Tito, please, no more revenge," Mikha said.

"Revenge is the only way," Javier Lim said.

Javier Lim used his speed to grab Aiah, but Mikha prevented him. Making him be grabbed and tossed by her. The strength and speed of a true alpha are kicking in at Mikha.

"I said I'd protect everyone," Mikha said.

She used her speed to quickly take the bottle of self-igniting Molotov cocktail from her brother. She throws it at Javier Lim, who catches it.

"Do it now!" Mikha said.

Bryan shoots the bottle, and it explodes, lighting Javier Lim on fire. Enzo throws another bottle of Molotov cocktail to make sure their uncle is well and truly burned.

Javier Lim tries to go for Aiah, but Mikha kicks him away. He starts becoming human again and is horribly burned. He falls to the ground, and everyone has a moment of silence.

Aiah goes up to Mikha and touches her face; she's still in her partially lupine form.

"Love, I'm here," Aiah said.

"You're safe," Mikha said.

Mikha hugged Aiah. She turned back to human form. Enzo and Bryan went to Javier Lim's body.

"Enzo, what are we going to do now?" Bryan asked.

"I need to hear what Mikha wants me to do," Enzo said.

Mikha looks at her brother. She understands that to finally end this is to kill their uncle. Aiah holds her hand.

"I'll support whatever your decision is," Aiah said.

"Kuya Enzo, if it's the only way, then you do it," Mikha said.

Enzo nodded. Javier Lim said something first that only the werewolves and Bryan could hear. He slashes his throat and finally dies.

"I'm an alpha again. This time, I'll use this power for the greater good," Enzo said.

"I know you will, Kuya Enzo," Mikha said.

Mikha closed her eyes. Aiah caught her body.

"She's sleeping." Aiah said.

"Looks like her energy is drained. We'll carry Mikha," Colet said.

Colet and Jho carried Mikha back to the yacht.

Aiah's Pov

We went back to the mansion; Mikha's still sleeping. Kuya Bryan and Kuya Enzo just came back from burying Javier Lim's body on that island.

"How is she?" Kuya Enzo asked.

"Sleeping like a baby." I said.

"This is the first time that Mikha slept after a problem," Enzo said.

"What do you mean po?" I asked.

"After she fixed the problem between me and Bryan, she hasn't really slept much. It's like she wants to stay awake to look after everyone," Enzo said.

"She didn't have to do that," I said.

"You know my sister better than me. I saw how she really wants to protect everyone important to her even before she was a beta," Enzo said.

I gently caressed Mikha's hair. I kissed her forehead before leaving the room with Mikha's brother. We walked downstairs.

"Matigas ang ulo, pasaway at mas makulit sakin," I said.

Kuya Enzo laughed a bit.

"You love her kahit ganun siya," Enzo said.

"Hindi siya mahirap mahalin. I didn't realize that I had fallen for her," I said.

"You remind me of her," Enzo said.

"The girl that you love who was a hunter." I said.

"I guess they already told you the story," Enzo said.

"I understand what you did, especially it's her choice, and you can't do anything before about the current situation," I said.

"Aiah, can you really be there for Mikha until the end?" Enzo asked.

"I will. I won't promise because I rather do it through my actions," I said.

"My sister is really lucky to have you," Enzo said.

"I think I'm the one who is lucky having her," I said.

"The both of you are lucky with each other," Kuya Bryan said.

Kuya Bryan appeared in front of us.

"I cooked dinner. The others are already eating," Kuya Bryan said.

"I'm not hungry yet Kuya," I said.

"Mag-aalala si Mikha pag hindi ka kumain," Kuya Bryan said.

"Gisingin ko kaya," Enzo said.

"Sabi ko nga kakain ako, ano ulam?" I asked.

My brother patted my head. I ate dinner with the others while my brother and Kuya Enzo went to look after Mikha.

"Sayang hindi ako naka-abot maki-laban kanina," Gwen said.

"Ang sakit pa din ng katawan ko," Jho said.

"First fight ko tapos ang kalaban alpha," Colet said.

"The three of you did great, even Gwen for saving me and Sheena," I said.

"This trip is surely memorable," Stacey said.

"Well, we're going to be busy after this," Maloi said.

All of us looked curiously at Maloi.

"We have to study for upcoming exams," Maloi said.

Napayuko si Jho at Gwen, surprisingly even Colet. We know she's one of the smartest in the class.

"I think my brain is dead from fighting," Colet said.

"Don't worry, uyab. We'll do a group study," Maloi said.

"Group study lang ba talaga Loi?" I asked.

"Aiah mas mag-alala ka sa girlfriend mo na antukin," Maloi said.

"Kung pag-sagot sa questions ng professors pag sa class galing sa pag-idlip nagagawa niya, paano pa kaya sa exams? Kaya niya na yun since first year tayo," I said.

"Lakas tiwala sa katalinuhan ni Mikha ah," Sheena said.

"Speaking of Mikha, mauna na ako sa taas. Bantayan ko na siya," I said.

"Sige Aiah kami na bahala dito," Stacey said.

I went upstairs, sakto kakalabas ng room nila Kuya Bryan.

"She just woke up," Kuya Bryan said.

"Ako na bahala Kuya Bryan, you can rest na po," I said.

I went inside the room. Mikha is reading a book while still in bed. I sat on the side of the bed and leaned my head on her shoulder.

"Reading when you just woke up," I said.

"Just distracting my mind," Mikha said.

"Are you still thinking about your decision earlier?" I asked.

"Yes," Mikha said.

I took the book from her hand and then placed it on the bedside table.

"I told you that I'll support whatever your decision. You made a decision that you feel is the best choice for the situation," I said.

"Why do some people only think that revenge is the only way?" Mikha asked.

"We can't change some people's perspectives about revenge. At first we can try to make them understand," I said.

I intertwined our hands.

"If they can't understand, then the only choice is doing what you just did earlier. You made a hard decision, and that's okay, love," I said.

I kissed the back of her hand.

"You saved everyone," I said.

"I'm so glad you're all safe, especially you," Mikha said.

"You don't have to worry about anything else, okay? Just relax and get some sleep," I said.

"We still have upcoming exams, and we need to study," Mikha said.

"It's really a miracle that you and Colet are thinking of studying when both of you are already smart," I said.

"It's not bad to do a bit of studying," Mikha said.

"That's why you have to get some sleep first so you can study well for the exams. We'll study together," I said.

"I love you, Aiahkins," Mikha said.

"I love you too, Mikha Lim," I said.

"I really like hearing you say Mikha Lim," Mikha said.

"Sleep na, wag na muna bumanat," I said.

"Yes po," Mikha said.

She kissed my head, then we went to sleep. Kuya Bryan is right; Mikha and I are lucky with each other.
