Timeskip(Two days later)

I was currently taking over more flashpoints.I then remembered my promise to the AI

Y/N:Uh Kinzie,the AI won't help us break into the simulations unless he gets a body.So how do we get him one,Kinzie?

Kinzie:The Zin have almost everything in the simulation locked tight but there is something you can use.A Control and interface Device.

Y/N:Okay,great.Where do I find one?

Kinzie:You're in luck.The Zin have a bunch in transit.

Y/N: Alright so where am I headed?

Kinzie:First head to your old apartment ruins.I'll explain where you can get the device.

Y/N: Cool.

I head over to the old crib ruins,Kinzie explains where I can find this device and tells me to head to the first hotspot I took down.I use my super speed and start running to the hotspot.

Y/N:I'm curious,is there anyway to get this AI a body in the real world too?

Kinzie:At this point,the AI is purely information,He's entirely digital.You could download him on your phone if you wanted.Why?Does he want a body?

Y/N:Just saying if that were me,I would want to be in the real world.

Kinzie:Good point.I'll check the ship for a suitable shell just in case.

After a few minutes I reach the hotspot and find Zinyak's goons.I start shooting them down.

Kinzie: Along with the C.I.Ds,the Zin was transporting a prototype for a contained forced recursive feedback projector.

Y/N: Kinzie,that sounds like complete bullshit coming from you.

Kinzie:*sigh*Imagine a gun that fires a bullet that bounces from one target to another to another like a pinball racking up a billion points.

I head to the container and take the gun and start shooting down the goons.After a while they were all down.I then see 4 C.I.Ds.

Y/N:Which one should I grab?

Kinzie:It doesn't matter,just pick one.

After failing to hack the first two C.I.Ds,I manage to hack the third one.

Y/N: Let's go!

Kinzie: Finally!Quick get to a safe spot so you can crack it open.

Y/N: How far away do I need to be?

Kinzie:Just away from the Zin.Pick someplace they won't find you.

Y/N:How long is this whole thing going to take?

Kinzie:I won't know until I crack open the device and see how it ticks.

I head to a rooftop far from the hotspot with the C.I.D.

Y/N:Alright,this spot looks good.

Kinzie:Keep an eye out while I work on this.I guarantee the Zin have a way of finding these devices remotely.

I see Zinyak's goons in small ships above us as she says this.

Y/N:Shit,they found us Kinzie!

Kinzie: Don't let them take the C.I.D.

Y/N:Work fast.

I start shooting down the goons while Kinzie works on the C.I.D.

Kinzie:Oh hey,I found the tracking device.

Y/N:You couldn't have found that earlier?

Kinzie: No.

Y/N:Anyway,are you done yet?

Kinzie: Would you like to take over?I could shoot aliens for a while.

Y/N:Fair point.

I continue shooting down the goons.

Y/N:Kinzie,where we at on this?

Kinzie: Almost done....

Y/N: Seriously?

Kinzie:Hold on...

I continue to shoot down the goons but more goons kept arriving.

Kinzie:Okay!The C.I.D is cracked and clear for uploading inputting the AI code...now.

Y/N:Great.How long until the upload is complete?

Kinzie:55 minutes.

Y/N:55 minutes?!These things usually take like 3 to 4 tops.

Kinzie:Look!The connection in the area is low.Get closer to a major connection point like a power plant and this might go faster.

Y/N:Why didn't we go there first?

Kinzie: Because a major connection point for the simulation is going to be heavily guarded.

Y/N:I don't care,the only thing I want to know is will he download faster?

Kinzie:Well, probably but...

Y/N:Good enough for me.

I start running to the power plant with the C.I.D

Y/N:Once CID's up and running how long until we can use him to get my crew?

Kinzie:Well assuming the AI wasn't lying.I don't see a reason why we shouldn't be able to get right to it.Speaking of which who do you want to grab first? Pierce? Shaundi?

Y/N: Kinzie, don't hate me on this but I was thinking we should get Matt.

Kinzie:Miller?!Oh my god why?!

Y/N:As much as I hate to say this but he really turned himself around after Steelport.He joined MI6, helped us with Cyrus Temple and you know he's useful...

Kinzie:Useful?

Y/N:You have a lot on your plate,Kinzie.With all this cyber whatsit,I figure you could use the help.

I reach the power plant.

Y/N:I'm here.I just need to clear these Zin out first.

I shoot down all of Zinyak's goons.After a while we're clear.I start the download.

Y/N:Done.

Kinzie: Excellent.

Y/N:How long now?

CID:FUKFUKFUKFUKFUKFUKFUK

Y/N:Uh Kinzie?

Kinzie: That's...just part of the process.

Y/N:So the word "fuck" is part of the process.

Kinzie:The full download should only take about 16 minutes.

Y/N:Is there anything you can do to make it go faster?

Kinzie:I'll see what I can find.There might be additional access points we can use to increase the bandwidth.

More of Zinyak's goons show up and I start shooting them down.

Kinzie:I found an access point that can help speed this along.Get to it and activate it.

I use my super speed and super jump to reach the access point.I activate it.

Y/N: It's on.

Kinzie: There's a second access point out further!

I head to the next access point.When I get there,I shoot down the goons before activating it.

Y/N: Alright both access points are online.How's the download looking?

Kinzie:Much faster.Much...much...too fast.Too fast,CID is overloading.

Y/N: Overloading?

Kinzie: Overheating!Get to him and cool him down.

I head back to the power plant.When I get there,I use my freeze blast to cool CID down.

Kinzie:Okay.Okay.We're good.We're fine.I managed to throttle the connection a bit so it should be much more stable now.

Y/N:How long until the download is done?

Kinzie: Three minutes.

Y/N:Good,that should give me enough time to fight off a few waves of Zin.

Portals appear and murderbots come out of them.

Y/N: Where did the murderbots come from?

Kinzie:Murderbots?Oh..wow

Y/N:Yeah,I'm having a bit of a stronger reaction.

I start shooting down the murderbots and the goons.

Y/N:Maybe we get CID one of these murderbots.

Kinzie:Do you really want to give some rogue AI an exoskeleton equipped with a compliment of weapons and a history of violence?

Y/N:... Probably not.

Kinzie:Besides,I already found a real CID body for him on the ship.So you know synchronicity.

I continue to shoot down the goons till CID's download finished.

CID: Download complete*long tone*All right.Time to kill us some aliens!

Kinzie:Oh god.I'm gonna regret getting CID a real body, aren't I?

Y/N:Oh CID,We're gonna get along just fine.

A warden lands near us.

Y/N:Oh shit!Uh Kinzie.

Kinzie:Take him down and I should be able to transfer some of his powers to you.

Y/N:Oh yeah.Let's go motherfucker!

I start shooting at the warden.We were also using our abilities trying to overpower the other but eventually I take him down.I charge at the warden and enter it.I manage to absorb it I feel it's power enter my body.

Y/N:Whoa--whoa this is...Why is my brain on fire?!

Kinzie: Welcome to being able to move things with your mind.

Y/N:Fuck yeah!

Kinzie sets up a training program where I learn how to use my new power and honestly this makes my life easier I don't need to carry things with my hands anymore.

Timeskip(A day later)

After participating in Prof.Genki's Mind over Murder CID managed to find Matt's simulation.We were currently walking towards the Broken Shillelagh.

Y/N: Kinzie,we're ready.

Kinzie:I'm sending CID the jailbreak.

Y/N:Any last advice?

Kinzie: When you're inside Matt's virtual oubliette there's a decent chance that I'll be focusing on interfacing with the intrusion countermeasure so pay attention to the console command.

Y/N: Anything I'll understand?

Kinzie: Don't get killed?

Y/N:Got it.

I say as I get inside and I was teleported into Matt's simulation.

Y/N:Hey Kinzie,how am I supposed to rescue Matt without a weapon?

Kinzie:Well, you don't have your powers either.

Y/N:Whoa,whoa,whoa,whoa...Why the fuck are there giant words in my face?

Kinzie: It's the command prompt.Just give me a second.

I was then teleported to the inside of a tank and the camera shifted.

Y/N:Aw hell,not again.

Kinzie: Dammit,the camera's screwed up.You'll just have to deal with it.

Y/N:At least this isn't mu first time at the top-down tank rodeo.

I start shooting down the goons using the tank's gun.

Y/N: Kinzie,you gonna fix this or what?

Kinzie:I'm trying,but I'm not used to the code they're using.Gimme a second.

After a while the camera went back to normal.

Y/N: Finally.

Kinzie:There should be three data towers controlling the security to Matt's prison.

Y/N:And I just blow this thing up right?

Kinzie:Well I wouldn't want you to go outside your comfort zone.

I shoot the gate key and I start driving to the logic gate.

Zinyak:I must say,I am amused at this attempt to save a man who tried to kill you once.Hahaha...

Y/N: Actually twice.No,three times.

Zinyak:All the same,what is it you hope to accomplish?Mr Miller is beyond your help.

Y/N:Then what do you care if I try?

Zinyak:Eh,very well.Your futile attempts do entertain me after all.

I reach the logic gate and see that it's surrounded with tanks.

Y/N:Uh Kinzie, there's a lot of firepower here.

Kinzie: Destroying the tower should destroy the tanks with it.

Zinyak:Ms.Kensington is rather astute for a human.

Kinzie:Yeah well,big towers controlling security on a linear path.Not very creative for your "superior intelligence".

Zinyak:Uh,touche.

I shoot the gate key, destroying it.

Kinzie: That's two.One more to go.

I start driving to the last logic gate.

Y/N:Oh wanted to thank you by the way,Kinzie.

Kinzie:For what?

Y/N:Well I'm in cyber-space and I haven't been turned into a sex doll or a toilet yet.

Kinzie:God,are you still mad about that?I said I was sorry

Y/N:That shit kinda sticks with you in your nightmares.Uughh...

I reach the last logic gate and start shooting at the gate key.

Y/N:Ok,last tower's going down.

Zinyak:Oh,I don't think it should be THAT easy for you.

I continue to shoot at the gate but it doesn't take any damage.

Y/N:What the fuck?

Kinzie:He's made the tower invulnerable.Hang on,I'll find a work around.

Zinyak's goons and tanks appear.I start shooting them down.

Y/N:I'm getting swarmed here!

I say as I was getting overwhelmed by the number of goons and the tanks.

Kinzie: Wait,let me try something.

I was then taken out of the tank and the gate was destroyed.I see a bike.

Y/N:Ok,this will work.

I get on the bike and start driving to the IO tower.

Zinyak:Yet again I am impressed by Ms.Kensington.Though this attempt is as futile as the life of most humans.

Kinzie:Oh look,an alien with a superiority complex.Suprising...

Zinyak:Oh this sentiment comes from more than just the Zin,my dear.Tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to the last syllable of recorded time and all our yesterdays have lighted fools,the way to dusty death.Out,out brief candle!Life's but a walking shadow,a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more.It is a tale told by an idiot,full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

After a minute I reach the IO tower.I was then teleported to a place with small screens and two doors.Red and blue.



Zinyak: Before you,I place a choice.Walk through the blue door and continue to face yet more failures at saving those closest to you.Your race will live on borrowed time and will, through your violent arrogance,wind up extinct.

Y/N: What's my other option?

Zinyak: Walk through the red door,however and I will release the humans whom I have collected.I will give them amnesty and even a ship from my fleet to do with as they see fit.However in choosing this door,you will willingly submit yourself to execution.This is the moment where you can prove to be the savior of humanity or its absolute destroyer.

Y/N:What the fuck is all this?

Zinyak:This is your life as it led you to this point.All your past violence,crime and losses on display to remind you of one simple fact: Regardless of what I have done to your world.YOU,Y/N L/N were its greatest threat.

Y/N:What the fuck are you talking about?I saved it a few years back.

Zinyak: True but the evidence is irrefutable,How many have died because you decide driving on the sidewalk is faster than the road, because you used a rocket in place of a bullet, because you wouldn't submit to MY rule?

I look down as I realise that he's right.It's all my fault because of my pride, arrogance and more importantly my desire for power.I should have never joined the Saints in the first place.

A/N:Do you guys think Y/N is right?That things would be better if he never joined the Saints in the beginning.

Zinyak:In the end you only hurt those you are trying to protect.In the end,there is only one truth.The human race would be much safer without you in it.

Y/N:You're right Zinyak.It's...probably much safer.

I slowly start walking towards the red door.As I walk I then start to remember all I have lost.

Flashback(Y/N L/N,Age 19)

I was in the trunk of a car looking at Lin who had her eyes closed.

Y/N:Yeah...Lin,Lin wake up.No.Argh.

Flashback(Y/N L/N,Age 25)

I was with a dying Carlos holding his hand.

Y/N:I'm sorry Carlos.

I then take my gun to shoot him but I couldn't do it.

Y/N:Fuck,I can't do it.

Carlos: It's okay boss.It's okay....

I then feeling his grip lightening as he dies.

Y/N: Carlos!

Flashback(Y/N L/N,Age 29)

I was with Shaundi at the hatch of the plane near the intercom.

Shaundi: Johnny,we're about to jump.

Gat:Right on I'll see you back in Stil-

Gat stops as I hear gunshots.

Shaundi: Johnny?

I stood in shock as the baddest motherfucker I knew was dead.

Present(Y/N L/N,Age 35)

I was walking to the door but before I can get in.

Kinzie:Boss,what are you doing?

Y/N: Saving all of you.Zinyak's right I destroy everything I touch.

Kinzie: That's not true.

Y/N:Open your eyes Kinzie.Lin.Aisha, Carlos and Johnny died because of me.I failed to save them.In the end, I've lost so much in my life because of my pride and desire of power to the point where I-I can't do it anymore.

Kinzie:Boss,think about the people who care about you.Shaundi and Johnny,your wife and son.They can't live without you.

Y/N:They would be much safer without me in their lives.

Kinzie:No they won't.You think just cause you're gone.We won't have targets on our backs.At least with you,we have a chance to protect ourselves.Come on boss.

Y/N:I'm sorry,Kinzie but my mind's made up.

Johnny: Don't do it dad.

Y/N: Johnny?

Johnny:Dad,I heard everything you said but I don't think I wanna grow up without my father.

Y/N:You'll be better off son,I'm doing it for you and your mom.

I then walk towards the blue door and get inside.I was taken to another text adventure which I managed to complete.

Timeskip (Few minutes later)

I was currently back in the real world on the ship playing cards with Keith and Kinzie.

Keith:I don't like the idea of us sitting around, shouldn't we be picking up Matt?The kid could be in trouble.

Y/N:He'll be fine.The guy is an MI6 Agent for God's sake he can take care of himself.

Keith:You needed help getting out and you're the Commander in Chief.

Y/N: That's a really good point.Wht didn't we think of this earlier?

Kinzie:Oh I did,I'm just not a big fan of Matt.

Y/N:Kinzie!

Kinzie:Come on! Can't I get some payback?He got a little lost,big deal.

Y/N:Or he got a little dead,who knows!

Kinzie:Oh he's fine...he's probably having the time of his life exploring Zinyak's ship.

Y/N:Well this is bad.
