Alexia POV

"Alexia get your things and come with me to the office." Professor Hemming said as the class ended. Alexia wanted to argue that she'd be late for her next class if she did, but he'd already walked out of the class. Alexia sighed but followed the teacher out of the classroom under the glare of the other girls, especially blondie. Professor Hemming stomped towards the office with Alexia trailing behind him. The other students parted for him making Alexia think he definitely had a reputation and was disliked by most. When Alexia got to the office the stern librarian looking woman was still sitting at her desk typing something while Professor Hemming was standing at the front desk impatiently waiting for the woman to acknowledge him. A couple of minutes after Alexia walked in she finally looked up from her computer. "How can I help you?" She asked looking at professor Hemming. "Why did you send this girl to my class?" He asked exasperated throwing a finger Alexia's way. The woman looked at Alexia before looking just as annoyed at the professor. "Because that was what my system said!" She snarked back at him. "But she's stupid." He sneered back. "Wow, tell me how you really feel." Alexia said annoyed. "What kind of fucking teacher are you?" She sneered at the man that now looked at her stunned before quickly hiding it and looked at her with anger flaring in his eyes. "I'm going to call your parents and have a word with them." The professor threatened. "Have at it." Alexia said calmly. "I'm going to class since this is a waste of time." He bristled at her words but she didn't care. She walked back to the second floor were her next class was as well. Sighing before going in she did the same as she did for her math class. This teacher was a woman in her 30's, in a suit where her skirt went past her knees. Her hair was in a lose ponytail. She looked a little Asian. If Alexia would have to guess she'd think one of her parents were Asian while the other was caucasian. "Welcome." She smiled. "I am Mrs. Lee." Alexia nodded in understanding. "You can go sit down next to Alexander." She said and pointed towards the back. When Alexia looked, she locked eyes with the beautiful amber colored eyes of the guy she'd sat next to in their math class. So Alexander Castro was his name. His twin friends had been split in this class and was sitting at different tables each with a girl next to them. The girls glared and one of them even scooted closer to the twin she was sitting next to when Alexia walked past. "You came just at the right time Alexia." Mrs. Lee said after Alexia had sat down. "I was just starting to explain the next assignment to the class." She smiled. Mrs. Lee looked around the whole class room again. "As I was saying. With your desk mate you will get a concept of a screen play and you will come up with everything that has to do with the scene you get, from the lines spoken by which actor/actress to what kind of background it should be. Should there be music, what kind of lighting and so on. Each desk will get a different scene and once it has been handed in your scenes will be written together for the drama departments next play." Mrs. Lee smiled with excitement. "I should warn you all." She continued when she realized the class wasn't as thrilled about it as she was. "This assignment will count at 60% of your grades. If you fail this, you will fail my class and will be made to retake it next year." "For the next month I will allow you guys to work on it during class, but outside of that you will need to figure something out among yourselves and outside of school time." Mrs. Lee walked around and gave each table two sets of papers. When she got to their table Alexia looked at it. The papers held information about the must haves in the play as well as a general character list and rules that followed, such as a group could add background character but no main characters. As Alexia continued to read over the papers she realized her and Alexander's part of the play had to include suspense and a cliffhanger and that their script would be right before intermission. As Alexia was reading the papers she suddenly felt a looming presence next to her. When she looked with was met with the hazel eyes of one of the twins who was standing uncomfortably close, grinning down at her with a slightly creepy but also goofy smile. Alexia instinctually leaned away from him until she bumped into something. "Ahh Alex, it looks like you continue to have girls gravitate towards you." A voice said from behind her. The second twin was standing next to Alexander with a cheshire cat smile on his annoyingly handsome fact. Alexia frowned at the twin who had opened his mouth. "Sorry." She said as she looked at Alexander. She hadn't intended to bump into him but the stupid twin had caught her by surprise. Both girls the twins shared a desk with were glaring daggers at her. "We can work on this project at my house after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays to start off with." Alexander said, his voice sounding smooth like honey. "Um," Alexia started. "I will have to make sure it's okay with my family." She said sheepishly. "What? Are your parents super strict or something?" One of the twins asked sounding amused. "Yeah." Alexia said flatly. She was annoyed with these twins. "Oh." The twin who'd asked, said looking shocked. "I mean we're in high school. We're not going to hurt you or anything." The other twin said making Alexia scowl at him. "2 months ago, four high school boys were convicted in a court of law for raping a fellow high school girl." She said looking at the now dumbfounded twin. "I don't know you from Adam so tell me, why should I trust you especially when you make a comment like that? It's as reliable as a guy trying to convince you he is a great guy when everyone knows those that boasts about themselves the most are usually the worst." Alexia said and then realized the whole room had gone quiet and all eyes were now on her. Again. And both the twins mouths were open ready to catch flies. Alexander however seemed to have a small smirk on his gorgeous face. Son of a monkey... Alexia get a damn grip on yourself. Alexia chastised herself. "Give me your phone." Alexander said and held out his hand. Alexia frowned but gave him her phone. Not like he could do anything to it and if he stole it? Well she didn't really care. She hadn't had a phone before, having one now didn't really matter to her. She watched him type in something on her phone before giving it back to her. Looking down Alexia realized he had put his number in her phone and sent himself a message so he now had her number as well. "Let me know when you know." He said. Alexia got the impression he thought this was amusing even though he didn't look amused at all. For the remaining of the class Alexia continued to read over the papers Mrs. Lee had given them while the twins were blabbering on about something. Alexander stayed quiet but Alexia was sure she felt him glance at her from time to time. The twin's desk mates huffed and puffed somewhat regularly to get the attention of the twins, unsuccessfully, which seemed to annoy them even more but there was little they could do about it. The bell finally rang and Alexia packed up her stuff. Her next two classes were on the first floor and she had a 10 minute break between now and her AP Biology class. Swinging her backpack over her shoulder she walked out of the door. The girls glared at her and a muttered "Skank" was sent her way. Alexia sighed. She couldn't understand why girls did this to each other. Wasn't it enough that guys tore them down at every chance they had. Why did girls have to do the same. They should stick together instead, but Alexia knew that was too much to ask. She'd only ever had one female friend. Not that she'd had many friends at all really. Not in real life at least. Online was a different matter. And even then she was pretty sure most of them were guys. Two or three of them were girls, she knew that for sure. Two she was uncertain about their gender. The rest she would bet an arm and a leg that they were of the male variety. She was more interested in male dominated fields so she usually got along better with guys. Her brothers and cousins seemed to be an exception though. Maybe it was because they felt like she was intruding on their lives. Maybe they just didn't want to live with a girl they couldn't screw.. Eww.. Gross thought.. Alexia thought as a shiver of disgust ran through her.

On the first floor she started walking towards her class room. It wasn't like she had any friends to hang out with so she might as well just go find her class so she wouldn't be late for once. She'd just rounded a corner when the sound of something slamming against a locker drew her attention. A guy that somewhat resembled Seth Cohen mixed with Steve Urkel's fashion sense, glasses and seemingly nerdiness, was pressed up against a locker by a guy that despite his lack of yellow skin, reminded Alexia of Nelson Muntz with the added arrogance of Draco Malfoy. Alexia glanced around the other students that either acted like nothing was happening or wasn't paying attention, letting Alexia know this was a regular occurrence. "Listen here faggot..." The pale Nelson Muntz started making Alexia frown. "You're going to give me your lunch money." He said his face now in Seth Urkel's face. Alexia was already on the move, walking towards the two guys. She walked right past the four Scrooges and didn't even spare them a glance. She was on a mission. She'd already seen where this was going and she already hated this Muntz guy and she didn't even know his real name! Monkeys, she hated school.. And people.. Just as his fist was about to hit wannabe Urkel right in the face, Alexia grabbed hold of it making time freeze. Not really time. But everyone in the hallway froze and stared wide eyes and opened mouthed at Alexia, wannabe Urkel and asshole Muntz. Muntz's stunned expression soon turned to anger but before he could hail down on her, she said one word that made his growing anger stop only to get replaced with confusion. "No." She looked at him still holding his fist tightly in her own her, mere centimeters from Urkel's nose. "No?" Muntz asked dumbfounded. No one had ever stood up to him before. "That's right." Alexia confirmed looking right into his eyes. "No?" He said again. "No." Alexia said. "No, we don't steal other peoples things. No, we don't hit others unless it's in self defense." Alexia smirked a little at that one. "And No, we don't use nasty words like that." She said coldly. "Nasty words?" Muntz asked clearly confused. Alexia narrowed her eyes. She wondered how much money or how powerful this idiot's family was for him to be in this school when he was clearly below average in intelligence. "The F word that came out of your mouth." Alexia hissed and pushed his fist away making him stumble a few steps back. Alexia heard a harsh intake of breath behind her, though if she was honest - everyone on the first floor of the school probably heard it, it was that quiet right now. Without taking her eyes of Muntz she turned her head just slightly so wannabe Urkel behind her knew she was talking to him. "You should probably scram while you have the chance." Seconds later she heard shuffling behind her and then footsteps quickly scurrying away. Alexia fished out the $20 bill her uncle had slipped her this morning for her own lunch. "Bring your own money from now on." Alexia stated flatly as she placed the bill inside his chest pocket. "With the tuition cost of this school I find it highly unlikely your parents doesn't give you money for food." She rolled her eyes and made to walk away but stopped herself. "However..." She said looking at him. "If I happen to be wrong." She paused for a moment for dramatic effect. "Try asking instead. You know. Use nice words." She smiled at him and walked away under everyones eyes.

Walking into her biology class she was the first one here. Going by the same pattered as her previous classes she walked to the back of the class and sat down at the middle desk, taking out her phone and started playing a mobile game. A few minutes later wannabe Urkel walked into the room. He hesitated for a moment before working up the courage to say something. "Th.. That table is taken." He stammered. Alexia looked at him and watched him swallow. "The only available seat is the one next to me." He said looking down at his feet. Alexia looked at him for a bit as he just kept standing there. "And where do you sit?" She finally asked. If someone had already claimed this seat she didn't want to be in it when they came. His head snapped up at her question and he looked almost shocked. "You.. You're really going to sit next to me?" He asked almost sounding hopeful. Alexia frowned. What the fuck had the other students done to this guy? Alexia stood up. "You said it was the only seat. Is there something wrong with sitting next to you?" She asked raising her eyebrow. "What? NO?" He practically squeaked. "It's just..." He sighed this time. "Everyone hates me." He whispered. Alexia had guess thats already. "Why?" She asked bluntly. Wannabe Urkel looked at her for the first time. Alexia could tell he was bracing himself for a harsh reception of whatever he was about to tell her. "Because I'm gay." He said sinking in on himself. Alexia frowned. "And?" She didn't like his reaction to this. She found it hard to believe the whole school was a bunch of bigots. Though she was certain there was some high powered people pulling the strings. It was a private school for rich kids after all. Power and money spoke volumes. "What?" He asked sounding confused. "They all hate you because you're into dudes? You're not a killer, pervert or something insane like that?" Alexia asked. He looked at her with wide eyes. "I.. I.. No. I.. I've never hurt anyone before." He stammered. "Okay, then." Alexia shrugged. "Where do we sit?" She asked looking around. She had a feeling it was one of the front desks and she wasn't surprised when he sat down at the desk right in front of the teachers desk. Alexia sighed. She hated being in the front. Everyone could see her but she couldn't see anyone. Her back would be to everyone in the class. For several minutes it was just the two of them in the class but then other students started coming in. When it was almost time for class a group of 4 students walked in. Two guys, two girls. Alexia had seen them with the Scrooges this morning. One of the the girls had been all over Riccardo while the other had looked at Dante like he hung the sun, moon and the stars. One of the guys had been what Alexia liked to call a hang on because they'd hang on to the popular group even though the group couldn't care less about them. Only used them when it was convenient for them. Like for example if they were an odd number or needed a scapegoat. The other guy however? Alexia was sure he was best friends with at least one of the Scrooges just by the look he was giving her. He knew who she was.
