" What are you thinking, Agni ? "

A sudden calling of my name echoed , I turned my head towards the side, the voice came from.

" Nothing , just a little head ache "

I said to Rajveer who is taking notes besides me.

" Mm. But you look so lost into something. Why don't you go home and take some rest ? And I can share you the notes tomorrow . "

He said while looking down at his note.

" That's so nice of you veer. But I don't feel like going home. I am fine. I can attend the class. "

I said and tried to focus on the lecture.

He hummed.

I was trying not to think anything happened last night. But the only thing which occupied my whole mind is .... He.

I couldn't think of anything beyond him. It's like, he is everywhere. I can still feel the shiver between my legs whenever the thought of his hands and .... crash over my head.

I don't even know what I am scratching in my notebook.

A sudden call arose.

" Ms. Agni , can you explain what testosterone is and its function? "

My eyes wide opened in shock and fear.

Did he ask me ?

I looked at the professor in doubt.

The bitches sat behind me , left a muffled laugh.

Did I hear right ?

After being friends with him , now it's very easier to look at him and speak to him. Not only his eyes , he is one of the hottest , no , the hottest man of this entire college. Girls are drooling for him everywhere. Brown skin with hot pack muscles , neither so leany nor so hulk , jealousy height of 6'3 feet , veiny hands , sharp jaw muscles , attractive face. He hardly expresses that smile to anyone except his close friend aka me. Yes , it's been only four months since we met , from the first day to till now , he is the only friend that I believe I can rely on. I tried to hide my living condition from him at first. But he eventually found out. He compelled me many times to accept his offer for staying in a girls hostel that he is more than willing to help me to pay the fees. I strongly refused. At some point , he invited me to be his roommate in his apartment , exactly after the attack happened in the hospital.

Then I told him that I am going to live with Ishu who treats me like her own daughter. He hesitated at first for whatever reason but eventually agreed. And he is happy for me too.

He is from a well settled family. But he is in principle of not accepting a single penny from his family. I don't know why it is because he wants to be on his own or something else. So in his free time , he does all kinds of part-time jobs for his expenses. He is also a scholarship student like me , he earned it. He is really an amazing hard worker. And he is a topper of the class too like me. We stand against each other only in the grades. That was like a war neither one wanted to give up. And he enjoys that too.

Back to his physique, he is the hotty - hotty. Fortunately, he is single. My luck . What ? I can't befriend the committed person and listen to all kinds of worst blabbers from them. That's cruel , you know.

And Riya . She is the naughty - naughty girl. She recently joined our mini group. Easily jelled up with us. At first , Rajveer ignored her like every girl except me. Due to her efforts , she is now one of us.

Then we accidentally became bench partners. I wanted to thank him. We introduced each other. He asked me to come for a cup of coffee. Exactly this same place. Then we became best friends.

I wanted to ask him an important question for so long. But I couldn't ask.

He ignored every single girl in the college. The only person he helped and talked to , friend with is ME. Why me ? Why only me ?

Like everyone, I thought, he had some motives. He might have expected something from me. That thought couldn't allow me to reach him as much as he wanted me to. But days made me realise, he wants nothing more than true friendship from me. He never once made me feel uncomfortable. He never touched me inappropriately. He stood beside me every time I wanted to. He proved that we can be good friends. Best friends. He made me trust him. Yes , I trust him from my whole heart.

A lot of gossip going on that we are couples , hanging out , sleeping together , blah blah blah. But they can only speak behind us. Because they knew what would have happen when they spoke in front of him.

He is not a soft and gentle teenager. He is ruthless as hell when he decides to avenge someone. I saw that in my own eyes. His anger is one of the most unbearable parts that no one wants to cross. But there is always a reasonable reason behind his anger.

He is never wrong. He can't hurt someone innocent. Innocent !

" She is swept into her dream world again. "

Riya shied. Her words drag me back to reality.

" I don't know yaar. What happened to me suddenly. I couldn't ... "

It's just testosterone. Just a male SEX hormone. Simple question. But I totally stuttered.

I said with a little irritating voice. Why is she so much interested in him. About HIM !

" To your question Riya , he is none other than Dheera. CEO of Dheera Embassy. "

Veer said in a very normal tone .

My voice cut out . How did he know about him ? Of course he had background checked on him when I said I am going to live with Ishu.

Riya asked about the frozen state.

She asked with the same shock.

He narrowed his eyes.

I get up from the chair.

He helped me to sit in his " black panther " . Once we put the helmets on , the bike goes like it came alive. I could see the ' aww ' look in all of the girls.

Once we reached my cafe , I bid him bye.

" Text me when you finish your work. I am working in the Red club tonight. So I will drop you at home. "

He said and started the engine. That roar like a lion.

Before I could protest , he left half street.

I shook my head and entered the cafe.

I asked while entering into the house where she was roaming here and there.

I took her towards the sofa.

I said by sitting beside her.

A sudden foot step echoed near the door.

We both looked at the side.

And he came.

He came towards us with steady steps.

His eyes are nowhere other than me. That flickers something. That feels so intense. And so hard to hold on.

On hearing Ishu's voice , his gaze shifts towards her.

" Mom ! "

He sat beside her on the other side. I loosen the hold from her. He took her hands between his' and kissed them gently.

" I told you that I will be late and not to wait for me. But you ... "

Before he could complete.

" I am not waiting for you. I was. .. I was waiting for Agni. "

She said. I widened my eyes on disbelief of her complete lie.

His eyes met mine and shook his head.

" Ok. I believed. Let's have dinner. I am so hungry mom. "

He said and went to the sink to wash his hands.

He looks so tired. And weak. Did he go to the hospital ? Did he change the bandage ?

Stop Agni. Why should I care ?

Once we settled in the dining table , Ishu started to serve us.

He pulled her hands and made her sit beside her. And he started to serve her.

My eyes didn't leave them. These are so new to me. How a family should be. How everyone treats each other. I felt like suddenly, I knew nothing about a family. Family ! The word is so foreign to my life. It created a strong ache in my deep chest and buried so deep under my heart.

" Agni , what happened beta ? "

Ishu's voice dragged me out to the present world.

Then I realised I was lost in my own consciousness. And his eyes sink into mine only. The sudden realisation makes me more nervous. The heat coming out of his gaze is so strong to hold.

I shook my head and immediately bowed my head.

I don't know why I don't feel like eating.

" Stop drawing on your plate. And start eating Agni. "

Ishu said again.

I nodded and started to eat. For the whole time , I felt his sharp gaze on me. Did he forget his mom is here ? I have no courage to look up.

And a sudden question makes me wake up instantly

" Who is that biker guy , Agni ? "

An unexpected question come out from Ishu. My eyes widened in shock.

Another nervousness shot my chest. It's nothing to hide from Ishu. The nervousness is completely because of the person who is sitting opposite to me.

Why did I feel the fury gaze coming out from him ?

" He is my friend Ishu "

I said to her with a polite smile.

" Just a friend or ... boy friend !!! "

Ishu teases me.

" Ishu , please ... He is just a good friend. "

I tried to explain.

" Yeah , yeah ... A friend who drops you at midnight safely to home. "

Ishu said with a muffled smile.

A sudden sight of his eyes , oh god !!!

Why is he so serious ?

Like going to murder someone. His clenched jawlines. Bulging out muscles.

I immediately shifted my gaze to Ishu and said
