Chapter 18
When Su Cha returned home, she found an orc squatting at the door. When he saw Su Cha coming, he quickly stood up.
"Su Cha." Lu Ming greeted Su Cha first, and then said a little embarrassedly: "You said you needed this onion before. I heard that you were feeling better, so I brought some over. Do you want more?"
Unlike the tall and mighty orcs, Lu Ming's body is much slimmer, and his face, which has just reached adulthood, still retains some traces of immaturity, innocent and pure.
"Yes, please help me move them in." Su Cha replied with a smile.
Su Cha led him to the kitchen and pointed to a corner: "Put them all there. Just count them and tell me how many there are."
"Okay." Lu Ming responded crisply, with obvious joy in his voice.
Lu Ming carefully took the onions out of his backpack one by one and neatly stacked them up. Then he said to Su Cha, "35 big ones and 22 small ones. Just give me 140 beast coins."
Su Cha quickly took out a shell crystal which is equal to 100 beast coins and 40 spare beast coins and handed them to Lu Ming, and asked casually: "Do you go out with the gathering team every day?"
Lu Ming nodded: "Well, our deer beasts have poor combat capabilities and it is difficult to hunt wild animals, so we have to rely on collecting more herbs."
After Lu Ming left, Su Cha put most of the onions into her space.
She also picked up a few pheasant eggs from the yard and prepared to make simple scrambled eggs with onions.
She caught the pheasants in a trap she set in the back mountain, clipped their wings and kept them in a pen. In addition to the pheasants, Su Cha also caught about a dozen rabbits. Now there is almost no game in the back mountain, all of them are in her yard.
Because Cang Yuan did not join the hunting team, most of the meat in the house was exchanged by Su Cha using beast coins. If there was no meat, Cang Yuan would also eat the vegetarian dishes cooked by Su Cha.
After spending some time together, she found that the villain's temperament was really easy-going. Since the original owner abused him, he had a hard life and sometimes even ate grass roots and tree bark.
She cooked delicious food for Cang Yuan every day and he ate it without any pressure. When she didn't cook, he would make porridge and barbecue and never complained from beginning to end.
Well, he is easy to raise, and he doesn't talk much, so it's not annoying.
She asked Cangyuan to help her make some baskets, swings and other things, and Cangyuan made them for her silently.
There is absolutely no sign of the sinister and brutal murderous look as before.
However, Cang Yuan, who was a very obedient little villain, looked at Su Cha with some disgust as she was cutting strange vegetables with her clumsy hands and tears in her eyes.
He frowned again and again, and finally stepped forward and took the bone knife from Su Cha's hand: "You go and rest, I'll do it."
Su Cha sniffed. Oh my god, why are onions in this beastly world so choking?
Su Cha washed her hands and eyes with clean water, then remembered the key question: "Can you do it?"
"No, you teach me."
"Oh, you cut the onion into small pieces the same way I just cut it."
"Then, beat the eggs into the bowl and stir them. About 5 eggs. You should know how to beat them, right?"
Su Cha was instructing on the side, and Cang Yuan did what Su Cha said seriously.
Cang Yuan took an hour to prepare a meal that Su Cha could prepare in the half time.
"There's too much salt in the eggs, and the meat was fried for too long and is a bit overcooked." Su Cha tasted the food and commented like a food critic.
Cang Yuan had a cold expression throughout, without any rebuttal or comment. Su Cha was already used to it.
History always repeats itself in surprising ways.
With a loud "bang", the wall that had just been repaired collapsed again.
Su Cha mechanically turned her head, the corner of her mouth twitched slightly, and Cang Yuan's face had already darkened.
"You came a little late today. We have already eaten." Su Cha said with a smile.
A black figure got up from the ground, awkwardly tidied his appearance, glared at Cang Yuan before saying to Su Cha: "I'm not here to eat, I have something to tell you."
Su Cha raised her eyebrows and looked at the little movements between the two males. She didn't understand what had happened between them in the past few days.
"Hmm-" Su Cha stretched out the ending tone and said leisurely: "You are allowed to quibble for a while. After you quibble, repair the wall."
Mu Beichen: "..."
Mu Beichen said angrily: "How can you, a female, be so inhumane? I'm going back to the tribe. If it weren't for that stingy male in your house who always locked me out every time I came over, would I, a dignified fifth-level orc, need to climb over the wall?"
Su Cha looked at Cang Yuan, who looked calm.
He isn't stingy. Maybe he simply doesn't like you?
"Oh."
Just go back, no need to notify her.
Seeing Su Cha's reaction, Mu Beichen felt a sense of loss in his heart that he didn't even notice.
"I want to invite you to my tribe. You are always bullied in this tribe. It is not as good as our tribe." After hesitating for a moment, Mu Beichen finally plucked up the courage to say this.
Females are the tribe's wealth and generally will not be easily given to other tribes. Of course, there is nothing that can be done if the females insist on leaving.
Mu Beichen looked at Su Cha nervously, and Cang Yuan also looked at Su Cha, waiting for her reply.
Su Cha raised her left hand, but did not give the answer that Mu Beichen expected. She looked indifferent.
"Why would I go to your tribe? Who in the tribe dares to bully me now?"
Cangyuan withdrew his gaze and continued to clean up.
"You can have a lot of meat when you go to our tribe, and you don't have to exchange it with beast coins like you do now." Mu Beichen still wanted to fight for it.
"I see you want me to come over and make you delicious meals, right? That's a nice thought."
Mu Beichen admitted that this was part of the reason, but he really wanted to take Su Cha back.
Mu Beichen ran out of reasons. Su Cha suddenly changed the subject, with a gleam in her eyes.
"Wait for me, I have something to give you." Su Cha said and went back to her room.
When Mu Beichen heard that Su Cha wanted to give him something, his sad mood suddenly disappeared. He raised his charming phoenix eyes and raised the corners of his mouth proudly at Cang Yuan who was looking at him.
When Su Cha came out again, she took out four bamboo tubes.
"What is this?" Mu Beichen was curious.
Su Cha took out one of them and opened it to show Mu Beichen: "These two are barbecue ingredients. Didn't you like them very much before? Take them back and let your friends try them."
Then she opened another one and said, "This is fine salt, better than the salt from the Balin tribe. You can take it back with you. You spent so much money here, so I'll give it to you as a gift. If we you a discount on salt, 400 per tube. It's a good deal."
Su Cha had already asked the tribe leader before about the price. The tribe leader said frankly that it would be no problem to sell the salt she made for 500 beast coins.
Mu Beichen was almost so angry that he laughed. He gritted his teeth and said, "How come you, a female, only have beast coins and shell crystals in your eyes? If you want to earn beast coins, you might as well come back with me in person."
"You don't want it? Then forget it." She was about to take the things back.
Mu Beichen quickly grabbed it: "Okay, okay, I'll help you."
Although the little female had a purpose, it was at least a gift for him.
Su Cha smiled like a profiteer, and was in such a good mood that she didn't ask Mu Beichen to repair the wall.
Mu Beichen had no choice but to return to his usual nonchalant attitude: "After eating the food you cooked, I'm afraid I won't be able to eat the food I used to eat when I go back. I really want to tie you up and take you back."
Su Cha rolled her eyes at him and drove him away in disgust.
