Chapter 23

  Lang Yin opened the window and walked to Bai Jiaojiao. He wanted to reach out but was afraid that Su Cha would not allow him to do so. He could only repeat helplessly: "Jiaojiao, it's okay, it's okay, you will be fine."

  "Come here, talk to her, don't let her fall asleep again." Su Cha felt her pulse, called Lang Yin over and put his hand in hers.

  Then she encouraged Bai Jiaojiao: "Don't worry, you won't be in danger. I have a great chance of saving your female cub. Your males are with you, waiting for you to give birth to the cub safely, so don't give up."

  Su Cha's voice was calm, but very soothing, which made Bai Jiaojiao and her male feel a lot more at ease.

  Su Cha crushed the painkillers and mixed them in the herbal juice, then told Xiong Lie to feed it to Bai Jiaojiao.

  "From now on, you just need to trust me. No matter what I do or say, just cooperate. Don't be surprised or disturb me. Otherwise, all your efforts will be wasted in a moment."

  The three of them nodded, and Bai Jiaojiao also hummed weakly.

  Su Cha took a long breath, cut open part of the female's fur skirt, and inserted thin silver needles one by one.

  Xiong Lie and Hu Yang clearly saw that the blood under Bai Jiaojiao's body had stopped.

  Under the shocked eyes of several people, Su Cha pressed Bai Jiaojiao's lower abdomen with her hand.

  "Quick, who has warm grass and rabbit skin? Can you lend me some?"

  Langyin's voice was excited, his hands were trembling, his eyes were filled with uncontrollable ecstasy, and he glanced at the orcs present with a pleading look.

  At the same time, a weak cry of a little cub was heard by everyone present, and pairs of shocked eyes all fell behind the open door.

  "There's still some in the warehouse. Xiong Qi go get some." The patriarch was the first to react and gave orders excitedly.

  "Lanyin, has the female cub been born?" an orc stepped forward and asked.

  "Yes, it's born." Langyin replied quickly and turned back.

  After explaining the precautions, Su Cha took out all the silver needles and put them into space.

  "Alright, Bai Jiaojiao is out of danger now. She needs to rest now. Just leave someone to take care of her. The female cub is also healthy. Everything is fine." 

 

  Lang Yin held the wrinkled little cub wrapped in animal skin and knelt down in front of Su Cha with a bang. The other two males followed suit and knelt in front of Su Cha.

  "Su Cha, I'm sorry, we shouldn't have doubted you before. It was you who saved us."

  There was sincere gratitude and regret in Langyin's eyes.

  Su Cha was a little speechless. Why do the orcs here like to kneel down at all the time? "Get up. There are still many people outside who are worried. Take the cub out to show them. Remember to use more warm grass."

  Lang Yin carried the female cub out, and many people surrounded him, some came to congratulate him, some were curious, and the whole place was talking in a lively manner.

  "This is the female cub. I've never seen what a female cub looks like right after it's born!"

  "Congratulations Lanyin, you are such a lucky orc."

  Most of the orcs were happy, but of course there were also some who were unhappy. The witch doctor had a sullen face and walked away.

  Su Cha leaned against the door, looking at the lively scene in front of her, feeling somewhat relieved.

  The severe pain in her arm continued. After two difficult operations her body could not withstand it.

  The moment Mo Ze turned his head, he saw Su Cha sliding down against the door.

  Lang Yin, who had just said "thanks to Su Cha", also noticed Su Cha who was about to fall to the ground.

  Mo Ze rushed forward first to help Su Cha up, and other orcs also rushed over.

  "Witch doctor, where is the witch doctor?" Lang Yin looked around, but found that the witch doctor and Hu Luoluo had disappeared.

  "No need to find a witch doctor. The witch doctor said she won't treat Su Cha." Yang Ying's male stood up and said that the witch doctor said it last time he went to ask for help.

  The scene fell into an eerie silence again.

  On the other side, Cang Yuan sensed that Su Cha had gone out, but she did not return for a long time.

  Xiong Lie carried Su Cha to Cang Yuan's bed and said carelessly, "Get up, Su Cha has fainted, let her lie down."

  Cang Yuan didn't move, but said with a dark face: "Her room is next door."

  Xiong Lie got angry when he heard this. Su Cha saved his female's life: "Hey! How can you be like this as a male?! As..."

  Seeing that Cangyuan's face was getting worse and worse, the clan leader quickly interrupted Xiong Lie and said,

"Su Cha is very weak now. If she is alone, I am afraid something might happen to her. You are her male, so please bear with her."

  After that, he instructed Xiong Lie: "Cang Yuan's legs and feet are uncomfortable and it's inconvenient to move, so just put Su Cha in the bed. Isn't there still enough space?"

  Xiong Lie glared at Cang Yuan, and regardless of Cang Yuan's face which was as black as the bottom of a pot, he placed Su Cha directly next to Cang Yuan.

  Cang Yuan: "..."

  If the legs could move, he would really kill someone.
