Chapter 24
It was getting late and everyone had been busy for a long time, so they all went back to rest without saying much.
The strange smell in his nostrils made Cangyuan very uncomfortable. He was very irritable at this moment and had no desire to sleep at all.
Fortunately, Su Cha was relatively quiet and just lay there motionless.
After frowning and relaxing his brows countless times, Cang Yuan finally took out a large piece of animal skin and covered Su Cha with it.
He closed his eyes and tried hard to adapt to Su Cha's breath. But Su Cha raised her hand and lifted up a corner of the quilt.
Cang Yuan opened his eyes again and covered Su Cha with the quilt.
Su Cha lifted a corner again, and Cang Yuan impatiently covered it again.
Until Su Cha opened it for the third time, Cang Yuan ignored Su Cha and closed his eyes to sleep. After a long time he fell asleep.
The morning light is just breaking and the breeze is blowing.
"Ah! Hiss!" An exclamation sounded.
Cang Yuan was awakened by the sound. When he looked up, he saw Su Cha sitting on the ground, holding her left hand with her right hand, staring at him angrily with a pair of wet eyes.
Cang Yuan quickly explained "You fell down by yourself." The implication is that it is none of his business.
Cangyuan's bed had its head against the wall, with empty space on both sides.
Su Cha knew that she fell down by herself, but she couldn't help it. If she hadn't woken up and saw the peerless beauty of the villain next to her, would she have fallen down in excitement?
"How did I appear in your room?" Su Cha got up and patted the non-existent dust on her body.
In fact, Cangyuan's room was very clean, even the corners were spotless.
"You were unconscious yesterday, and the clan leader had someone put you in my room."
Although it was an simple statement, Su Cha heard a hint of helplessness and grievance in it.
Su Cha remembered that she fainted yesterday due to exhaustion, and she had no idea what happened afterwards.
This was also the first time she slept in the same bed with a man, so she was embarrassed and did not mention it again.
"Let me check your wound." As she said that, she was about to lift Cangyuan's quilt.
Cang Yuan was stunned for a moment, his face darkened slightly, but he did not say anything to stop her.
Su Cha could tell at a glance that Cang Yuan must be scolding her for being shameless in his heart.
"Doctors don't see men or women." Su Cha's voice was cold and filled with disdain.
When she saw that Cangyuan's legs healed much faster than she thought, she couldn't help but be slightly surprised. Are all orcs so good at self-healing? But her body is no different.
As expected, a villain is a villain, and it can be considered as a golden finger given to him by the author, ensuring that he can survive to the end and cause trouble.
"You've recovered well. You can go out and move around in the wheelchair, but you still can't use your feet for a month." After saying that, she went out.
Her left hand still hurts and she needs to recuperate.
As soon as she walked out of Cangyuan's room, Su Cha discovered that there were whispering sounds coming from the house next door.
There are houses on both sides of her cottage, but they are rather dilapidated and no one has ever lived in them.
Are there new orcs in the tribe?
Just as she was thinking about it, there was a knock on her door. She looked at the broken lock and said silently: "Come in."
It broke several times in a month. She wonders what this lock is for?
Three orcs came in. Xiong Lie was holding three bear cubs in his arms. Some were black, some were white and tender. They were small and very cute.
"Su Cha, we moved next door, so it's more convenient for us to take care of you. Are you feeling better?" Lang Yin stepped forward and said respectfully to Su Cha.
"Good." Su Cha needed the labor provided and did not refuse it. Her old injury did relapse when she was trying to save their female.
"Jiaojiao isn't fully recovered yet. She'll come over when she's better. Do you need us to cook? Where's Cangyuan?"
Xiong Lie obviously had a very high prejudice against Cangyuan and looked around with dissatisfaction.
Su Cha was puzzled and thought that the males in the tribe would look down on the disabled orcs, so she made up an excuse "Cang Yuan's injury has worsened and he can't move now."
Xiong Lie was stunned for a moment and uttered an "oh".
"You saved Jiaojiao's life. We will take good care of you during your recovery. You go and have a rest, and we will cook for you." Langyin said generously.
Su Cha anticipated that if she agreed, she would see Cang Yuan's dark and stinky face, so she decisively refused.
"No, just bring some food when you're cooking."
Langyin thought about it and agreed, thinking this was a good idea.
"Langyin, could you please help me move this wheelchair into the room?" Su Cha asked politely.
Langyin patted his chest: "Of course, there's nothing wrong with that."
The wheelchair was moved to Cangyuan's bed. Cangyuan refused Langyin's kindness to help him, saying he could do it himself.
Su Cha sighed, he was indeed a villain who wanted to be strong all his life.
Su Cha didn't know how Cang Yuan did it. Not long after they went out, Cang Yuan came out in a wheelchair.
After a while, Bai Jiaojiao's male brought food over. Su Cha had no appetite and didn't eat much.
She glanced at the villain, who still had no expression on his face, but he obviously ate much less than usual.
...
In the afternoon, the tribe leader came with several males from the tribe.
Mo Nian first asked about Su Cha's physical condition, and after learning that Su Cha was not seriously ill, he started to talk about business.
"Su Cha, we have all tasted the salt. It's much better than the one from the Balin tribe. I've found some males here for labor. We can then refine the salt when you're fully recovered." Mo Nian spoke happily, as if he saw a handful of beast coins flying towards him.
Su Cha looked at the six males one by one. Su Cha nodded and had no opinion.
"Chief, please have someone clean up the yard next door on the right, and prepare these things. Have them come every afternoon, and I will teach them."
The tribe leader readily agreed and sent several orcs to prepare things. Then he reminded her earnestly:
"Hu Zhi is a fifth-level orc. If you like him, you can take him in as your male. There are many orcs in the tribe who want to be your male. You and Cang Yuan are both unable to move around easily, so they can just take care of you."
Mo Nian had a plan and was going to introduce a few males from the tribe to Su Cha. Although Cang Yuan was also one, he was a wandering orc and had only been in the tribe for half a year.
Su Cha's mouth twitched unconsciously, and she said in a bluff, "I know, there's no rush for this matter. Let's extract the salt first and then consider other things."
Su Cha turned around and found Cang Yuan not far away. Seeing Cang Yuan's gloomy face, she knew that Cang Yuan had heard what the clan leader had just said.
Cang Yuan looked at Su Cha, which made Su Cha feel a little uneasy, but then she realized that she had nothing to feel guilty about.
"This is my home."
"Besides forming a couple, is there any other way for me ?"
The two spoke almost at the same time. Su Cha heard it, and Cang Yuan heard it too.
Su Cha spoke first: "I know."
She knew that with Cangyuan's eccentric personality, he probably wouldn't like other orcs to live with him.
She was only there because she was useful. She could guarantee that once Cangyuan's injury healed and the poison was removed, he would leave the tribe without hesitation.
Cang Yuan was stunned for a while, glanced at Su Cha with complicated eyes, and said: "Yes, there is a plant called pseudo-spirillum grass, which can be found in the back mountain."
