Another 3 hours pass in tension.

J: Something's wrong. We should've had news by now surely...

A: I'm sure she'll be fine.

C: Just think positive we all gotta think positive.

W: Starting to think I'm a major Lucy curse.

C: What do you mean?

W: When we first started dating, our 2nd date her sister had to get an emergency appendectomy.

J: She has a sister?

W: Uhm yeah she didn't mention her? Hasn't she been working here for a few years or something now.

J: Never. Not even when we were at the academy.

W: Oh.

They all fall silent again.

After about a minute a doctor comes over to them.

Doctor: You all here for Lucy Chen?

J: Yeah is she ok?

Doctor: She'll be ok. Let me just explain what happened. It seems there was a small internal tear from her previous accident a few weeks ago. It would have been fine but unfortunately some sort of light bang or rough movement seemed to have completely opened it and caused some internal bleeding. It caused one of her stitches to get dislodged, quite lucky actually it meant we could easily pinpoint the problem and quickly fix her up.

J: That's great.

Doctor: She's in room 213.

The doctor walks off.

C: I'll call Tim.

At the station Tim's sitting there waiting for news, when suddenly he gets a call.

T: Any news about Lucy?

C: She's going to be ok.

T: Perfect timing because the transfer acting commander just got here about 5 minutes ago.

C: Didn't Grey say it would take at least 6 hours?

T: Got lucky I guess. I'm already on my way there.

C: Ok.

The call ends and after about 20 minutes Tim arrives and sees everyone outside her room.

J: She's alright, though she's been asking for you.

Tim lets out a soft sigh and then heads inside.

T: Hey.

L: Finally.

T: You ok?

L: Yeah.

T: Don't do that again, you scared me.

L: Oh yeah I'll make sure I don't bleed out and get sent into surgery.

He leans down and kisses her forehead. He sits down on the chair next to the bed.

T: Before you passed out you seemed really out of it. Was that just because of that or were you thinking about something?

L: I don't even remember to be honest.

T: That's ok don't worry.

L: Thanks.

T: For what? Doing my job?

They smile at each other.

L: You told them we are dating didn't you.

T: Yeah. Is that ok?

L: It was going to get out sooner or later.

T: That's true.

L: Looks like I'm off duty for a while again.

T: Yep.

L: I should probably move back into my apartment. I'm basically living with you at this point.

T: I don't mind if you want to stay a bit longer.

L: Are you saying you want me to move in?

T: I'm just saying all you'd have to do is bring over the rest of your shoes and you basically would be.

L: Yeah to be honest I still don't want to be alone.

T: I know.

L: Plus you have Kojo.

T: Ah right staying with me for Kojo, of course.
