Hey guys, thank you so much for reading this far! I have enjoyed all your support and just wanted to tell you that honestly, I just wanted to try writing a fanfic just for fun. I loved the experience, it was so fun creating this story, but I have decided that I really can't commit to anything, so this will be the end of my Felinette fanfic. But as a thank you for sticking around, I am going to put in a little short story about Marinette and Felix.
The Graham de Vanily Family Chronicles:
Felix had faced many challenges in his life.
Board meetings with aristocrats who spoke in riddles. Fencing matches against opponents twice his size. Akuma attacks that nearly destroyed Paris.
None of that compared to the pure chaos of fatherhood.
"DADDY! DADDY! DADDY!"
Felix barely had time to brace himself before a tiny, blonde missile slammed into his legs.
Catherine clung to him, peering up with big, excited eyes. "Guess WHAT?"
Felix took a slow sip of coffee. "What, Cat?"
"I counted ALL MY TOES TODAY!"
Felix set down his coffee and crouched to her level. "And how many do you have?"
Cat stuck out her hands, concentrating. "Ummmm... I forget. But I had 'em yesterday, so it's probably the same."
Felix nodded solemnly. "That's a good assumption."
Catherine beamed, then gasped. "WAIT! I gotta show you somethin'!"
She spun around, showing off the pink superhero cape tied around her shoulders.
Felix tapped his chin. "Ah, I see. You've become a superhero overnight."
Catherine nodded furiously. "YES! I am... CAT NOIR! Defender of PANCAKES and JUSTICE!"
Felix chuckled. "Pancakes and justice? A noble cause."
At that moment, a sleepy, hoodie-clad Dante entered the kitchen.
Felix greeted him warmly. "Good morning, son."
Dante flopped into a chair. "Mornin..."
Felix smiled. "Ah. Poetic."
Catherine climbed onto Dante's back, wrapping her little arms around his neck. "BIG BROTHER! Guess what? I counted my toes!"
Dante sighed. "Still ten?"
Catherine gasped. "HOW DID YOU KNOW?!"
Felix smirked. "Your brother is a genius."
Dante mumbled, "Just trying to survive."
Marinette entered the kitchen, taking in the scene. "Let me guess. Cat has way too much energy, and Dante has none."
Felix gestured dramatically. "Balance in the universe."
Marinette leaned over and kissed his cheek. "Morning, honey."
Catherine giggled. "MOMMY, NO KISSING!"
Dante groaned. "Yeah, please, not before breakfast."
Felix chuckled. "One day, you'll appreciate romance."
Catherine wrinkled her nose. "Nuh-uh. Boys are yucky."
Dante smirked. "Finally, something we agree on."
The Park:
The plan? A peaceful trip to the park with pastries.
What happened, you ask?
It started when Catherine refused to leave without her superhero cape.
Felix crouched beside her. "Sweetheart, heroes don't need capes to be strong."
Catherine gasped."WHAT?!"
Marinette sighed. "Felix, you just shattered her worldview."
Felix adjusted Cat's cape with a smile. "Alright, little hero. Ready to save the day?"
Catherine nodded, fists on her hips. "YES! But first... can we get chocolate croissants?"
Felix smirked. "Negotiating already? You're definitely our daughter."
At the bakery, Cat somehow charmed the owner into giving her extra macarons.
Dante stared. "How do you do that?"
Cat shrugged, munching on a macaron. "I just look cute 'n' say please."
Felix hummed. "Dangerously effective."
Marinette gave him a look. "I wonder where she learned that from."
Felix gave an innocent smile. "No idea."
Dante sighed. "I need to start using that."
Felix ruffled his son's hair. "Good luck, kid."
————————————————————————————————
The park visit was going great.
Catherine was zooming around in her cape, yelling about saving the world. Dante was pretending not to enjoy watching over her. Felix and Marinette were sitting on a bench, finally having a rare, peaceful moment.
And then—
A voice.
"Is that Marinette?"
Felix turned.
A tall, blue-haired man was approaching their table.
Felix immediately tensed. "Not him.."
Before Marinette could answer the blue-haired man, Dante beat her to it.
"Actually," Dante said smoothly, holding two coffees, "she's Marinette Graham de Vanily."
He took a slow sip, locking eyes with the stranger.
"And I'm her son."
Felix had never been prouder.
The man—Luka—blinked. "Okay?"
Catherine tilted her head. "Who's this guy?"
Dante folded his arms. "No idea."
Marinette sighed. "He's an old friend."
Felix wrapped an arm around her waist. "A very distant old friend."
Catherine gasped. "Oh no! Daddy, is he a villain?!"
Felix smirked. "Possibly."
Luka chuckled awkwardly. "I, uh... I just wanted to say hi?"
Dante took another sip of his coffee. "Mission accomplished. Anything else?"
Felix patted Dante's shoulder. "That's my favorite child."
Catherine gasped. "EXCUSE ME?!"
Felix chuckled and scooped her up. "Fine, you're also my favorite."
Marinette sighed. "Seriously, what are you doing Dante? You too, Felix."
Luka gave a polite nod. "Well, I see she's in good hands."
Felix smiled smugly. "Oh, you have no idea."
As Luka walked away, Catherine whispered, "Are we sure he's not a bad guy?"
Dante shrugged. "He looked suspicious."
Felix smirked. "Agreed."
Marinette groaned. "You two are the worst."
Catherine giggled. "No, Mommy, they're the best!"
Felix lifted her onto his shoulders. "See? My number-one fan agrees."
Dante rolled his eyes. "Great. Now she's extra unstoppable."
Felix grinned. "Good. She's my legacy."
And as they walked home—Catherine giggling, Dante muttering about dramatic parents, and Marinette sighing with amusement—Felix looked around at his family.
The love of his life.
His two incredible kids.
Their laughter filling the air.
He had everything he could ever want.
And he'd fight the whole world to keep it.
Well, guess Felix never got over the fact that Luka and Marinette dated ONCE in HIGH SCHOOL. Thanks for sticking around guys! I love y'all so much!
Byeeeeee-Nattie!
