June walked over, drawn by a glimmer catching his eye. As he drew nearer, he discovered it was a watch glimmering in shades of blue, red, and grey. He instinctively checked his phone and realized he was running late for school. Panic surged through him as he quickly picked up the watch and slipped it into his bag. As he dashed towards school, he hesitated, knowing his bullies would have a field day if he missed classes. The thought of his mother's wrath if he skipped school further motivated him.
Finally, June arrived at school and sought out his classmates, Barnes and Ravi. Barnes was a tall boy with blonde hair and light brown eyes, while Ravi had vibrant green hair and yellow eyes, typically hidden behind a mask slung under his chin. June rushed to share the story of the crushed BMX, hoping to gain their support as evidence. Instead, they chuckled mockingly at his claims, dismissing him entirely. Fortunately, Theo, June's steadfast friend with dark hair, glasses, and a deep yellow shaggy coat, stood by him. Theo believed June's story, and together they made their way to the Motown Repair Center to comfort Ed, the older mechanic who was working closely with the police.
"Hey, Ed!" June exclaimed as he spotted the older man, who had brown hair and a kind demeanor.
"JUN!!" Ed shouted back, his face lighting up as he ran toward June and Theo. "I thought you were wrecked in the accident! I was so worried about you!" Tears filled Ed's eyes, and he embraced June tightly before pulling back, relieved to see him unharmed.
After Ed gathered himself, the three of them proceeded to review the CCTV footage that had recorded the altercation with the Metal Card Bots from the previous day. However, their hopes were dashed when they discovered that the footage failed to capture the dump truck's license plate, and the police car couldn't provide any further information. Frustrated but undeterred, June revealed the peculiar watch he had found at the accident scene. Ed and Theo struggled to lift it, their faces contorting in confusion, while June effortlessly picked it up with two fingers, leaving them astounded.
With a sense of determination, they set out for the construction site and the port, searching for any clues about the dump truck. Despite their efforts, they returned empty-handed. On their way back, June caught sight of Barnes and Ravi harassing Anna, a delicate girl with striking pink hair and enchanting pink eyes, who wore a stylish pink and magenta dress paired with white high heels. Feeling compelled to intervene, June shouted that he had stepped in something unpleasant to divert attention from Anna. As he tried to flee, Barnes, relentless in his pursuit, caught up with him, and Ravi quickly joined in.
Barnes seized June's backpack and started emptying its contents onto the ground, causing the watch to tumble out. As June sprinted to grab the falling watch, it suddenly began to glow, and before he could react, it latched onto his wrist with a surprising speed and force.
"What did you do?!" Barnes shouted, incredulity etched across his face as he stepped closer to June. Just then, a police car roared onto the scene, its siren blaring. Before he could comprehend what was happening, the car collided with Barnes and Ravi, creating a chaotic distraction. June felt himself being whisked away, pulled into the police vehicle.
Inside the car, June's heart raced as he glanced around, realizing he was amidst a high-speed chase. "Who's driving this car?" he demanded, his voice tinged with a mix of fear and disbelief.
"I mean you no harm, young man," a mechanical voice replied, calm yet authoritative.
"Who's talking?! Where am I?" June exclaimed, confusion swirling within him.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Blue Cop from the planet Machina," the voice introduced itself, revealing that the police car was, in fact, a large transforming robot.
"Blue Cop?" June repeated, his mind racing with memories. As panic set in, he realized the gravity of his situation. "I'VE BEEN EATEN BY A TRANSFORMING ROBOT!" he screamed in sheer terror while the car hurtled around sharp turns, speed building. "WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?" he continued, his voice a mixture of fear and frustration.
"Kid, calm down—" Blue Cop attempted to soothe him, but June, overwhelmed, interrupted, "What do you want from me!?"
Before the robotic officer could respond, June reached for his seatbelt, unfastened it, and without a moment's hesitation, flung open the passenger side door and jumped out of the speeding vehicle, determined to escape whatever fate awaited him inside the car.
