"BZZZZT"

Your phone buzzed, waking you up from your sleep.

Sitetampo: Morning, sunshine. Hope you slept well.

You giggled softly, typing back.

You: Good morning 😊 I did, thanks to a certain someone.

His reply came instantly.

Sitetampo: I'll take credit for that. Do you want to tell the team today?

You paused, biting your lip. This would definitely be a big deal to the others.

You: Sure. Just hoping they won't make a huge deal out of it.

Sitetampo: With Tensai around? Good luck with that.

You groaned at the thought, but a laugh escaped you nonetheless.

By the time you arrived at the usual café for your team's casual meet-up, your nerves were evident. Moya, walking beside you, glanced at your unusually fidgety demeanor.

"Alright, what's up with you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing!" you blurted out too quickly, which only made him more suspicious.

"Uh-huh. You've been smiling like an idiot all morning. Did something happen yesterday?"

You tried to play it off, but your silence betrayed you.

"No way..." Moya's eyes widened. "It's Tampo, isn't it?"

Your cheeks burned. "Don't make a scene!"

He smirked triumphantly. "I knew it! I knew there was something going on between you two. You're so obvious."

"Can we not talk about this right now?" you hissed, feeling your face grow hotter.

"Fine, fine," he said, holding up his hands in mock surrender. "But I'm definitely telling the others if you don't."

You groaned. Moya was going to have way too much fun with this.

Inside the café, the team was already gathered around a table. Relyh and Tensai were engaged in a heated debate about strategy while sitetampo sipped his drink quietly, looking amused.

"Hey, you're late," Relyh said as you and Moya approached.

"Blame her," Moya said, throwing you under the bus.

"Seriously?" you muttered, shooting him a glare.

Sitetampo glanced up from his seat, giving you a small, knowing smile. He'd saved you a spot beside him, and you slid into it, your heart fluttering despite your nerves.

Tensai leaned forward, narrowing his eyes at the two of you. "Wait a second..."

"What now?" you asked, trying to sound casual.

"There's something different about you two," Tensai said, his eyes darting between you and Sitetampo. "You're acting weird."

"We're not acting weird," you protested, though your face betrayed you by heating up.

"Oh my god," Tensai said, his voice growing louder. "You're together, aren't you?"

You froze, exchanging a glance with Sitetampo, whose expression was calm but faintly amused.

"I called it!" Moya said triumphantly.

The table erupted in a mix of reactions—Tensai whooped loudly and Relyh choked on his drink.

"When did this happen?" Tensai demanded, practically bouncing in his seat.

"Yesterday," Sitetampo said, his tone calm but his gaze fond as it flicked to you.

"Finally," Relyh exclaimed. "The tension between you two has been unbearable."

"You're exaggerating," you said, hiding your face behind your hands.

"No, he's not," Tensai said, finally recovering. "Congrats, though. You guys look good together."

"Thanks, I think?" you replied, peeking at him from between your fingers.

Moya smirked, taking another sip of his drink. "Just don't let it mess with your gameplay."

"Wouldn't dream of it," Sitetampo said smoothly.

"Alright, enough teasing," Relyh said, though his grin said he wasn't quite done. "But seriously, congrats. It's about time."

The rest of the meeting was filled with playful jabs and jokes, but the overall mood was lighthearted and supportive. You felt a sense of relief as the initial awkwardness faded, replaced by warmth and camaraderie.

Later, as the group dispersed, Sitetampo offered to walk you home. You said goodbye to Moya, who gave you a pointed look but let you go without a fuss—for once.

The walk was peaceful, the late afternoon sun casting a golden glow over the streets.

"Are you okay?" Sitetampo asked, glancing at you.

"Yeah," you said, smiling. "I was just nervous about telling everyone, but it wasn't as bad as I thought."

"I told you they'd be cool with it," he said, as his hand grabbed yours.

You blushed but didn't pull away. "You were right."

"I'm always right!" he teased, his grin widening.

"Don't push it," you shot back, laughing.

When you reached your house, you turned to him, suddenly hesitant. "Thanks for walking me home."

"Anytime," he said, his voice soft.

There was a pause, and this time, he stepped closer, his hands gently cupping your cheeks. His gaze held yours, warm and steady.

"As a goodnight gift," he murmured before leaning in.

His lips met yours in a soft, lingering kiss that sent your heart racing. When he pulled back, his smile was tender, and your cheeks burned, but you couldn't stop smiling.

"See you tomorrow," he said, his voice low and filled with warmth.

"See you," you replied, your heart fluttering as you watched him walk away.

As you stepped inside, Moya was waiting in the living room, an annoyingly smug expression on his face.

"Don't," you warned, pointing a finger at him.

"I didn't say anything," he said, holding up his hands innocently. "But you're smiling like a lovesick puppy, just so you know."

You groaned, stomping up to your room, but his laughter followed you all the way there.

Flopping onto your bed, you hugged the bear Sitetampo had won for you, a content smile spreading across your face. Life was pretty good right now.
