Relyh had texted the group chat early this morning to schedule a meeting; apparently, he had some important and exciting news.

You and Moya were walking to the training headquarters when you spotted Sitetampo in the distance.

"SITE!" you called out excitedly. Of course, when he noticed you, he immediately came up to you.

"Good morning, cutie. How did you sleep?" he asked, a sweet smile playing on his lips.

"I slept great! It's nice not to have anything to worry about," you replied, returning the smile.

Moya quickly intervened, not wanting to be a third wheel. "Alright, that's enough of the lovey-dovey stuff. Relyh has something important to tell us, remember?"

"We know, Moya," you said teasingly before heading inside the building. Once you entered, you were quickly met by Tensai and Relyh, who were already there.

"See? I told you they'd be late as usual," Tensai said with a smirk, earning a sigh from Relyh.

Clearing his throat, Relyh began. "Well, since we're all here now, there's a local Brawl Stars tournament coming up, and we've been invited." He took a quick breath before continuing, "I think this is a great opportunity for Y/N to make a debut and also for us to redeem ourselves after the loss we took at the World Championship."

You glanced at Sitetampo for a second, and he responded with a small nod of reassurance, accompanied by a smile.

"Sure, but we can't all play at the same time, right?" you asked Relyh.

"No, that's right. But I already thought of that. We'll be working in rotations, meaning everyone will get to play at least one round or more."

"I see—that could work!" you replied enthusiastically.

Everyone quickly sat down to start brainstorming strategies and deciding which characters to use. You, however, were still a bit unsure about playing with them in this tournament. Sure, you'd been playing with them for a while and weren't bad, but you still felt like you were nowhere near their level.

Sitetampo noticed the worried look on your face and quickly realized what you were thinking.

"You'll do great, Y/N, and I'll always back you up, so don't worry," he said, trying to ease your nerves.

His words made you regain some confidence and lifted your spirits.

"You're right, I'm just overthinking it. Sorry," you said, smiling at him apologetically.

"Don't worry. It's your first match; it's normal to feel nervous," he replied warmly.

With that reassurance, you joined the others in brainstorming. Feeling more confident, you even made a few suggestions of your own, which the team appreciated. After hashing out some strategies, you all decided to try them out to see where they could be improved.

You, Moya, and Tensai were up first, while Sitetampo stood beside you, silently cheering you on, Relyh was watching the big screen and took notes on the mistakes being made.

"Tensai, you were supposed to go left!" you said, a little frustrated.

"Oopsie!" he replied, still focused on the match.

With Tensai now on the right side with Moya, they quickly took control of it. Meanwhile, you shifted from the middle to the left to keep that side covered. Moya was taken down while trying to push the opposing team back, but when he respawned, he saw two enemies advancing on your side and rushed to help. Together, you managed to take them both out. At the same time, Tensai was defending against another opponent.

The timer eventually ran out, and your team secured the win.

You let out a squeal of happiness before turning to hug Sitetampo, who hugged you back tightly.

"You did great! Even catching on to Tensai's mistake," he said with a laugh.

"It still worked out in the end!" Tensai said defensively, which made Relyh roll his eyes.

Next up were Relyh, Sitetampo, and Tensai, since he needed to make up for his mistake in the previous game.

As usual, they started off strong, immediately taking control of the game. Watching them play reminded you just how skilled Sitetampo truly was. Playing matches for fun lately had almost made you forget. You couldn't take your eyes off his character as he made insanely quick decisions, each one pushing their team further ahead. Their precision and teamwork gave them a huge head start, making it nearly impossible for the opposing team to stage a comeback.

Eventually, the match ended in their favor. You smiled at Sitetampo, and he returned it warmly.

Relyh spoke up shortly after. "Well, it's getting late. I suggest we try out the other strategies tomorrow."

Everyone agreed, and you all began packing up to leave.

You walked outside with Moya, while Relyh asked if he could talk to Sitetampo for a minute. You were curious about what it was about but decided not to pry.

"You've really gotten better, Y/N," Moya said as the two of you headed home.

"Whoa, did the Moya just compliment me?" you asked, acting dramatically shocked.

"Don't get used to it," he shot back quickly, though his tone was playful.

You laughed, the sound echoing softly in the quiet evening air. For a moment, the two of you walked in silence, letting the stillness settle between you.

When you finally arrived home, you decided to head to your room. Once inside, you pulled out your phone and sent Sitetampo a message.

You:

Hey, Site, I have a favor to ask.

You waited, your heart beating a little faster than usual. It took a few minutes before his reply came through.

Sitetampo:

Yes, what is it?

Without hesitation, you typed your request.

You:

Do you think we can practice Brawl Stars together right now? I want to train as much as I can for the tournament to make sure I'm ready!

This time, his response came quickly.

Sitetampo:

Of course! You don't even have to ask. Mind if I go live, though? I usually do.

You hesitated for a moment, considering it, before replying.

You:

No, it's fine! I know you usually do. :D

His next message made you smile.

Sitetampo:

Stalker alert!

he teased.

You laughed softly and typed back.

You:

I prefer 'dedicated fan,' thank you very much.

Sitetampo:

Dedicated fan, huh? Guess that makes me pretty lucky to have you around.

Your cheeks warmed at the unexpected sweetness of his words.

You:

Stop it, you're making me blush!

you typed back, trying to hide how flustered you felt, even though he wasn't there to see you.

Sitetampo:

Good. You're cute when you blush.

he sent back.

You couldn't help but smile at his response. Feeling a little braver, you replied.

You:

Well, since you're so smooth, let's see if you can keep up in-game.

Sitetampo:

"Oh, it's on, Let me know when you're ready to start."

he shot back.
