Lily panicked , she couldn't afford to continue her nice sister persona anymore. It's not just about being favoured daughter anymore, she cannot offend Asher or it's gonna be over for her .

With each word , the temperature in the room dropped. If it was in their house, Mr. Smith would have punished Amelia by now in the fit of anger. But right now he was really scared and couldn't even speak out a word.

Lily was in so much pain and her old overconfident aura was gone. Her parents were at loss as to what to do. Mr. Smith was worried about himself and Mrs. Smith was shedding tears. She looked at Amelia with some hope but didn't get any response.

Although Mrs. Smith was better than Mr. Smith and Lily as she never punished or manipulated Amelia. But Amelia didn't knew how to react.

Amelia was always punished in front of her but she never dared to stop Mr. Smith. Lily was always harming Amelia but she was still being ignorant , not trying to find out what is wrong with her daughter. She just thought it to be Ameli's nature.

And now , after so many years , when Lily is getting punished for the first time, she wants Amelia to help Lily. Even though helping her can get Amelia in trouble. It may be the miserable plot for the villian who is against Olivia. They were not even her real family and after all this , she doesn't need to play the role of a daughter .
