[10 YEARS EARLIER] [Friday, April 3, ???]
"hey... hey!"
"Big sis.. wake up!" The boy whined, gently patting his long tail over her.
"Augh.. alright.. I'm up.." the girl sighed, pushing herself off the bunk bed.
"The nice lady said we could all go play in the field outside!" The boy said with joy in his voice.
His tail swaying side to side in glee, putting a smile on the girls face.
"Alright little bro, lemme get my gown on and we'll go" she said with a smile, scratching the top of his head, causing his ears to twitch.
She dressed herself in the slighty dirty gown. It wasn't much, and it definitely wasn't the cleanest, but it did the job.
Walking hand in hand with her brother, they made their way out of the orphanage and into the field, plenty of other children already running around and having fun.
"come on!" The boy said with a smile, running down hill the orphanage lay on.
"Wait up dummy!" the girl yelled with a smirk.
The two had fun.
Playing with the other children, running around, and just relaxing in the field.
the two lay together in field.
The other children having already rushed back into the orphanage for the dinner the nice people had given.
The girl pulled herself up, sighing.
"Cmon little bro, we'd better go before the other eat it al-"
Cutting her off, the boy lunged into her chest, wrapping his arms around her.
"I love you sis" he said with a bright smile, his red eyes glowing with happiness.
Shocked, but not uncomfortable.
The girl wrapped her arms, and tail, around her little brother.
"I love you too" she said with smile.
"We'll be together forever"
All things considered, they didn't have much.
But that didn't matter.
Because they had each other.
And all the while two black cars pulled up to the orphanage.
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is for the brethren to dwell together in unity!" - Psalm
