In the stone house, James Lone opened his eyes.

"Junior has an ability to increase speed, and he must also have a wide-area detection power; the third ability is still a mystery."

"Isn't it strange how lucky he is to have three lightning-related abilities?"

James Lone glanced at Linkon and others in the substation.

Many were lying down, likely deciding to spend the night there.

Confirming this, James Lone traversed through the stone structure, activated his Will Armor, and used gravitational distortion to sprint toward the unnamed cave.

In just an hour, he arrived back at the cave entrance.

James Lone extended his hands toward the entrance.

Earth and stone manipulation!

The soil surged as the entire cave quickly became blocked, leaving only a five to six-meter gap above the red liquid inside.

He stowed all his excavation tools back into his storage space.

Finally, on the dirt where the cave entrance had been, he planted a mutated peach pit.

With his palm hovering above the pit, he initiated plant gestation!

A surge of vitality coursed through him, and soon a mutated peach seedling sprouted.

"This peanut has mutated so drastically and can even produce a perfect variant; it must be related to the red liquid below. I wonder if this peach tree will perfect itself in a similar manner?"

James Lone was filled with anticipation.

Once he finished setting things up, he submerged himself underground, returning to the side of the red liquid.

"Time to start cultivating!"

James Lone set down the bloodstone and began his breathing exercises, allowing the Tree of All Laws to grow gradually.

"Director Taylor, members of the 910 Brigade have arrived!"

Teresa Taylor turned to see Elen Hawkins scampering out of the purple fog.

Trailing behind him were a dozen men with varying characteristics, some of whom didn't resemble soldiers at all.

Especially the lead boy, who looked about 160 centimeters tall, sported an attitude that exuded arrogance, resembling a rebellious middle school student more than anything else—he seemed to be around 15 or 16 years old.

Yet everyone followed in his wake, indicating he held the highest rank among them.

Elen Hawkins introduced, "Director Teresa Taylor, she's our base's current leader and the strongest esper we have."

"Director Taylor, this is Junior, a major of the 910 Brigade and the vice captain of the esper unit—he's one of the famous Three Kings!"

Upon hearing this, Junior's eyes sparkled as he fixed his gaze on Teresa Taylor.

Holy crap! She's so beautiful!

His excitement was mixed with the awkward shyness of a virgin encountering a gorgeous woman, causing a slight flush to spread across his cheeks.

Teresa Taylor frowned slightly.

The glow around Junior, which had been a mix of yellow and red, shifted to a pure green in an instant.

Noticing his unwavering stare, Teresa Taylor, being a beauty herself, instantly understood what he was thinking.

She had encountered too many men like him before, and it filled her with revulsion.

However, as he represented the 910 Brigade, she decided to treat him with a measure of respect and extended her hand from a distance.

Seeing this, Junior trembled with excitement and quickly reached out.

"Hello, Junior!" Teresa Taylor said earnestly.

"Junior... just call me Junior," he replied, slightly embarrassed.

Teresa shook her head. "That won't do. I'll call you Major Junior instead."

She had no intention of acknowledging his military title.

He seemed more like an average high school student than a true soldier.

Was it possible that the 910 Brigade had begun handing out ranks indiscriminately?

Teresa Taylor looked down on such behavior.

They exchanged a polite handshake.

Teresa clearly noticed Junior's face growing warm, prompting her to frown slightly.

Kids these days were maturing too quickly; their thoughts were far too impure.

Feeling the gaze of Teresa Taylor, Junior's eyes flickered away, and his mind began racing:

"Only a powerful woman like her deserves to bear my offspring! I'll have one son and one daughter—my son will be named Moon, and my daughter will be named Ada..."

Teresa Taylor prompted, "Major Junior? Where should we go next? I represent all survivors from the TV station base and assure you we will comply fully with the arrangements of the 910 Brigade... Major Junior? Major Junior? Major Junior!!!"

"Ah!" Junior came back to reality. "What? What's going on?"

Teresa Taylor felt exasperation creeping in.

His subordinates felt the embarrassment too.

This was mortifying!

There was no way Bruce Scott would allow a high-ranking position for Junior; it was clear he needed stability at the top.

Teens like Junior were far from easy to handle.

Teresa Taylor scrutinized Junior intently. "What's on your mind, Major Junior?"

Junior felt flustered under her gaze, his heart racing as he found it hard to think properly, blurting out, "Let's have a duel! If I win, you'll be my girlfriend!"

A stunned silence fell over the group.

Junior's subordinates hung their heads low, wishing to sink into the ground.

Holy shit! This is so cringe!

Teresa Taylor was both irritated and incredulous.

Could the 910 Brigade actually send such a foolish boy to represent them?

Since you want a fight, I'll gladly oblige!

Teresa Taylor narrowed her eyes. "Fine!"

Elen Hawkins watched with glee.

The kid was really asking for trouble!

Everyone else might not know how formidable Teresa Taylor was, but he certainly did!

Though she was beautiful, she possessed the temperament of a female dragon!

Why didn't anyone dare pursue her even with her powers?

It was simply because she was too fierce!

"Very well," Teresa Taylor said calmly, extending her palm forward. "Please, go ahead."

In an instant, her hair billowed as if caught in a wind.

Her clothing flared slightly, as though a breeze were blowing through the air.

An invisible aura of danger seeped forth, causing Elen Hawkins to feel a shiver down his spine; he discreetly took a step back, silently wishing Junior luck.

Teresa Taylor was clearly serious this time!

Everyone stared at the unfolding scene in disbelief.

Teresa Taylor appeared to channel a warrior spirit, contrasting with Junior's youthful bravado.

With the poise of a martial arts heroine, she made Junior grit his teeth in determination, his body crackling with electricity as he formed a defensive sphere of lightning.

"I'll only give you three chances! If I win, you can't say I didn't give you an opportunity! Wahahaha!"

Seeing how Junior's assertiveness seemed unshakeable, the air turned tense.

Teresa Taylor stepped back, positioning herself into a perfect horse stance, and said coolly, "Let's see what you've got..."

After consuming the esper fruit James Lone had given her and incorporating his breathing techniques, Teresa felt the urge to test her skills after some downtime.

And Junior just happened to show up at the right moment!

Just as Junior opened his mouth to say something, he suddenly blinked as the scene around him blurred.

Boom!

The ground beneath Teresa Taylor erupted as she surged forward.

The next instant, her fierce expression appeared right in front of Junior.

Junior's heart skipped a beat; he hadn't made any move yet.

In a flash, Teresa Taylor's fair fist loomed closer.
