"Please! Don't kill me! I beg you... Ah!" "Delwen Dowlin! Delwen Dowlin! I'm your teacher!" "Hahahaha! I've been sick of your pretentious attitude for a long time! Die, you old bastard!" "No! You can't do this!" "You animal! I'll kill you!" "Where the hell is Lulia Smith?! Who the hell hid Lulia Smith?! Tell me!" "Delwen, are you holding a grudge against Professor Smith? She was taken away by someone else—go find her! Why are you causing trouble for us... Ah!" "Help! My leg is broken! Someone help me!"

Building 16 was plunged into a storm of blood and violence.

Delwen Dowlin, along with over a dozen of his strong henchmen, unleashed chaos and slaughter throughout the building.

The previously high-and-mighty school leaders and professors now knelt on the ground, begging for mercy.

The sheer power to decide the lives and deaths of others filled Delwen Dowlin with an ecstatic sense of exhilaration.

"This is the life! I am the chosen one!"

Swinging his machete, Delwen laughed maniacally as he towered over the trembling survivors.

"Sean Collins, Reo Turner, you two are ability users. I'll give you one chance—submit to me, and I'll let you live!"

Coughing violently, Professor Sean Collins, beaten and bruised, propped himself up against the windowsill to stand.

The window had already shattered—two female teachers had been thrown out earlier.

Sean Collins spoke slowly, "Delwen... submission isn't entirely out of the question..."

Before finishing his sentence, he suddenly turned and leapt out of the window.

In mid-air, his body floated gently, like a falling leaf, descending at an even pace toward the ground.

A few seconds later, Sean Collins landed on the ground, his legs shaking slightly from the impact.

It was the highest jump he had ever made.

Just as he was about to flee, he suddenly saw Delwen Dowlin already standing calmly in front of him, waiting.

Sean Collins was horrified.

He had known Delwen Dowlin was fast, but he hadn't imagined he was this fast.

Before Sean even reached the ground, Delwen had already made his way down.

Sean stammered in fear, "Delwen, listen, I—"

Before he could finish, Delwen sneered and swung his machete. "Old man, still trying to run?"

With his speed ability, the machete moved like lightning, leaving a blur in its wake.

Slash!!!

Sean Collins's consciousness faded into darkness.

As Sean Collins jumped to escape, Delwen Dowlin immediately chased him down the stairs, leaving only his henchmen behind in the room.

The remaining teachers and school leaders, who had been lying on the ground, exchanged cautious glances and began to consider how they might escape.

Suddenly, Delwen Dowlin's shadowy figure reappeared in the room, as if materializing out of thin air. In his hand was a bloody, severed head.

The room fell into a deathly silence.

Delwen's men erupted into cheers.

"Delwen is unstoppable!" "Delwen is invincible!"

Delwen panted heavily, struggling to catch his breath.

Though he had gained incredible speed as an ability, his stamina was still average. Chasing someone down and then running back up 20 flights of stairs nearly burst his lungs.

If it weren't for the need to assert dominance in front of his men and the survivors, he wouldn't have pushed himself so hard.

The surviving teachers were all trembling with fear.

He's too fast. There's no escape.

Thud!

Delwen threw Sean Collins's severed head onto the floor.

The head rolled until it stopped at the feet of a female teacher.

The head, bloodied and battered, stared up with lifeless, unblinking eyes.

The female teacher screamed in terror and fainted on the spot.

Delwen sneered. "Stop screaming! Someone, throw her out the window!"

"On it!" Reed and another lackey eagerly stepped forward, lifting the unconscious teacher and tossing her out the window.

Moments later, a dull thud echoed from below.

Several male teachers were so terrified they wet themselves.

Delwen then turned his gaze to the last ability user in the room, Reo Turner.

"Turner... Teacher..." Delwen said with a wicked smile.

Reo Turner finally cracked under the immense fear. Crawling forward on all fours, he stammered in panic, "D-Delwen, I surrender! I surrender!"

The other teachers looked at him with scorn.

A teacher kneeling and begging for mercy from a student?

Still, the overwhelming power imbalance left them paralyzed, unable to do anything but watch in terror.

Delwen burst into laughter. "Good! Good! A wise man knows when to bow!"

Reo Turner felt deep shame but also a faint sense of relief.

Surviving is the most important thing, he thought. What's pride worth anyway?

Delwen laughed even louder. "I, Delwen Dowlin, am nothing if not generous. These female teachers will be shared among all of us. Reo Turner, I'll give you Ametta Murphy."

The female teacher, Ametta Murphy, shivered in fear.

Reo Turner dared not refuse. Awkwardly, he stuttered, "T-Thank you, Delwen."

Delwen smirked darkly. "Well then, what are you waiting for? Go ahead!"

Reo Turner was stunned. "Now?!"

"Of course now!" Delwen said as if it were obvious. "What are you waiting for—your wedding night? Get to it already!"

Ametta Murphy's face turned pale as she hugged herself, glaring at Reo Turner. "Turner... don't you dare!"

Overwhelmed by both fear and humiliation, Reo Turner muttered, "Murphy, try to understand..."

As he reached for her, Ametta slapped him across the face, screaming, "Get away from me, you scumbag!"

Angered, Reo Turner let go of his shame and roared, "Shut up, you wench! Come here!"

"Hahaha!" Delwen Dowlin laughed in satisfaction. "That's it! Oh, and don't take her into another room—do it right here so we can all enjoy the show!"

Here?

In front of everyone?!

Reo Turner's mind went blank.

Delwen pulled out his phone, turning on the camera. Impatiently, he urged, "Hurry up! The battery won't last long."

"You'll all die horrible deaths!" Ametta Murphy screamed in shame and rage before fainting on the spot.

The room erupted with uproarious laughter.

No one noticed a tiny, almost imperceptible blue teleportation gate that had appeared on the ceiling.

Inside the subspace, James Lone quietly observed the carnage in the room, his expression devoid of emotion.

He watched silently, carefully analyzing Delwen Dowlin's abilities.

Girls' Dormitory, Wenyuan Building

10th Floor

Knock, knock, knock.

A frantic voice came from the other side of the door. "Winnie Morgan, it's me! Open the door!"

Winnie Morgan cautiously peered through the peephole.

Outside were two men and a woman—people she recognized.

They were survivors from the nearby dormitory building.

At the front stood Simon Howard, a tall young man and the leader of their group.

Simon was also an ability user with rapid regeneration powers.

Winnie gestured to the other women in her room. They all stood up, clutching makeshift weapons like mop handles and chair legs, positioning themselves tensely behind her.

After taking a deep breath, Winnie opened the door slightly and asked coolly, "Simon Howard, what's going on? We traded water yesterday."

Simon, visibly anxious, said, "Delwen Dowlin has gone mad! He's slaughtered all the teachers in Building 16! We need to figure something out!"

Winnie's face darkened.

The school wasn't very large, and the Wenyuan Building wasn't far from the teachers' apartments.

The girls had already heard the continuous screams coming from that direction.

They had assumed it was a group encountering a monster, but it turned out Delwen Dowlin was the one killing people.

And not just anyone—he was killing teachers.

Due to their status, most students still hesitated to go against the teachers directly.

Winnie Morgan's group, for instance, didn't necessarily listen to the teachers anymore, but they also didn't want to offend them.

Likewise, the teachers generally avoided contact with the students. Leftover habits from peacetime made them instinctively feel they should protect the students.

But now, with food running out, they could barely care for themselves, let alone protect anyone else.

The relationship between the two groups was distant but respectful.

Delwen Dowlin, however, was different.

He was a complete lunatic, fully unleashing his inner desires.

Winnie's heart raced.

She was well aware of Delwen Dowlin's intentions toward her.

The guy didn't even bother to hide it.

If I fall into Delwen Dowlin's hands, I'd be better off dead!

I can't just sit here and wait for him to come!
