Wedding dayyy!!!
# Nokukhanya's POV (Getting Ready)
I stood in front of the mirror, my heart racing with excitement and nerves. My bridesmaids,(my sister ( best friend Zee) and friends I've made these past few months )bustled around me, helping me into my breathtaking wedding gown. I felt like a princess, the delicate lace and silk hugging my curves in all the right places.
"Wow, Noku, you look stunning!" my bestfriend , Zee, exclaimed, tears shining in her eyes.
I smiled, feeling a lump form in my throat. "Thanks, Zee. I'm so nervous."
My mother, Ma'Mthinsi, entered the room, a warm smile on her face. "My darling daughter, you look beautiful. I'm so proud of the woman you've become."
She took my hands in hers, her eyes locked on mine. "Remember, marriage is a journey, not a destination. Always communicate, always love, and always respect each other."
I nodded, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. "I will, Mama. Thank you."
# Nkosi's POV (Getting Ready)
I adjusted my tie, my heart racing with excitement. My groomsmen, my brothers and closest friends, clapped me on the back, offering words of encouragement.
My father, Baba Ndlovu, entered the room, a proud smile on his face. "My son, you look like a true gentleman. I'm so proud of the man you've become."
He placed a hand on my shoulder, his eyes locked on mine. "Remember, marriage is a partnership. Always support each other, always listen, and always love each other."
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards my father , I wouldn't be here had he not shown me a picture of Noku and said we should kidnap her and make her my wife . "I will, Baba. Thank you."
# The Ceremony The ceremony began, Pastor Mthembu's warm voice filling the air. Noku and I exchanged tender glances, our eyes shining with happiness and adoration.
As the pastor spoke, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I was to have found my soulmate. Nokukhanya was everything I had ever wanted in a partner – kind, intelligent, beautiful, and strong-willed.
The ceremony was a beautiful, heartfelt celebration of our love, filled with personal touches and meaningful moments. We exchanged vows in a poignant, emotional moment, promising to love and cherish each other for the rest of our lives.
As the pastor pronounced us husband and wife, our guests erupted into cheers and applause, whistles and ululations filling the air. We shared a tender, romantic kiss, our love and happiness radiating like a golden glow.
# The Reception
The reception was a vibrant, joyous celebration of our love, filled with delicious food, fine wine, and lively music. We danced our first dance as husband and wife, surrounded by our loved ones, our happiness and joy infectious.
As the night wore on, the celebration only grew more vibrant, more joyous. Our love was the shining star of the evening, a beacon of hope and happiness that illuminated the lives of all who surrounded us.
Just as we were about to take a break from dancing, Tina made her way to me, a sly smile spreading across her face. I pulled her aside, my heart sinking with a sense of unease.
"What's up, Tina?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on your wedding day," Tina said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "But let's be real, Nkosi. We both know that you're not over me."
I felt a surge of anger, but I kept my cool. "Tina, it was a once off thing , I'm married now. I'm committed to Nokukhanya my wife , and I'm not going to let you come between us."
Tina's smile grew wider, her eyes glinting with malice. "Oh, I'm not going to come between you. But I will tell Nokukhanya about our little secret, unless you agree to see me on the side."
I felt a cold dread creeping up my spine. Tina was blackmailing me, using our past indiscretion against me. I knew that I had to protect Nokukhanya, no matter what. ( Fuck the people Samkelo gets )
"I'll do whatever it takes to protect my wife," I said, my voice firm and resolute.
Tina's smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure. "We'll see about that," she said, before turning and walking away.
I watched her go, feeling a sense of unease and foreboding. I knew that Tina was trouble, and I was determined to protect Nokukhanya anc our marriage from her.
I made my way back to Nokukhanya, who was laughing and chatting with our guests. I took her hand, feeling a sense of gratitude and love towards her.
"I love you, my wife," I whispered, my voice trembling with emotion.
Nokukhanya smiled,
her eyes shining with happiness. "I love you too, my husband."
As we danced and celebrated our love, I knew that I would do whatever it took to protect Nokukhanya from Tina's malicious plans. I was determined to make our marriage work, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
The rest of the night was a blur of music, laughter, and celebration. We danced and sang along to our favorite songs, surrounded by our loved ones. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and I knew that our love would last a lifetime.
As the night drew to a close, Nokukhanya and I shared a final, romantic dance. We swayed to the music, our eyes locked on each other's, our hearts full of love and joy.
"I'm so happy to be your wife," Nokukhanya whispered, her voice barely audible over the music.
"I'm so happy to be your husband," I replied, my voice filled with emotion.
As the music faded away, we shared a tender, romantic kiss. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and I knew that our love would last a lifetime....
