After what seemed like forever, they reached the rocky island. Its cave-like formation greeted their small group of thirty scouts, with Odyseus leading the charge. Once inside, the group stays in a single line; their torches lighting their path forward. Nefeli looks around the cave's foundation in awe, but Lotus only trembles. "H-hey, it's okay Lotus." The critter only shakes its head, pulling at the woman's hair. "O-ow!"

"What's up with them?" Eurylochus asks from behind her.

"I don't know... he just started freaking out the moment we entered the cave." Nefeli pouts and tries to grab at Lotus, only for the furry creature to quickly climb into her satchel to hide. "Weird.." She muttered with a sigh.

As they walked in deeper their, mostly quiet, surroundings were met with the soft sounds of sheep. "Sheep!" Nefeli smirks, not thinking twice as she hurries ahead of the group. Spotting the long group of sheep, she aims her spear, and throws it. Hitting the poor thing in the side as it fell over dead. "Nice shot." Polydeuces catches up to congratulate his friend. "Thanks" Nefeli smiles proudly, hopping down to claim her prize. "Over here!" She calls as she and Polydeuces start gathering the sheep's corpse.

Polities looked around in wonder, running to the many boxes that were stacked high with food. "Look at all this food. Look at all these sheep. I can't believe this cave has all of this for us to keep." He smiles brightly as the others join them to start filling their empty bags.

Nefeli decided to explore; noticing how the place looked like someone's home. Her thoughts interrupted by the screeching Eagle, she gals at it. "What are you doing here?"

"You are quick to trust your surroundings." The eagle doesn't answer her question, only staring down at her judgmentally. "Can't you feel it? The rather warm wind? Ha! I thought Athena taught you better." The eagle chuckles, the sound leaving a pit in Nefeli's gut as she realizes; " we have to leave.."

"I've got to hand it to you, this is quite the treat. There's enough sheep here to feed the entire fleet." Eurylochus smiles as he watches beside Odysseus. Though, the other man didn't seem so thrilled with their find. With such a large opening in the cave, it fit well over six hundred sheep. Accompanied with such large crates filled to the brim with fruits, veggies, and bundled hay. "It's almost too perfect. Too good to be true.. Why would the lotus eaters pass up on all this food?"

Though, his own musings were intruded by Nefeli quickly making her way to them. " Captain!" Her attempted warning came too late, as a massive reddish-orange eye opened behind the two. "Who are you?" The awakened cyclopes growls as he slowly stands over the frozen Ithicans. Nefeli takes a tentative step forward, Polydeuces looks at her worryingly; whispering and attempting to pull her away from the beast.

"What are you doing?"

"Trust me.. Grett the world with open arms, remember?" She gives the other a smile, though it was a nervous one. Before turning back toward the cyclops. "Hey there.. We come in peace." Nevertheless, her ears rang from hearing the eagle laugh at her. "That's the best you've got?!"

"Shut up.." She mumbled harshly as the Cyclopes narrowed his eye at her; his gaze traveling to the fallen sheep. "You killed my sheep... my favorite sheep." The creature gently picks up his friend, crying over their body before setting it back down again. Approaching the woman with rage emanating off of him. "What gives you the right to deal a pain so deep? Don't you know the pain you show, is pain you reap." Nefeli tries to back away, but the Cyclopes grabbed her, lifting her high away from the others.

"Ne!!" Polydeuces pulls out his blade, ready to charge in and save her. Only being stopped by Eurylocus, and when he looks at the other man. He was only given a silent look; only he knew too well. While, Oddyeus watched; hashing up a secret plan. He quickly rushed to grab a vat of wine; shoving lotus fruit inside.

"Help!! S-someone help m-" Nefelis words her sniped as she stares into the lone eye of the Cyclopes."Time to drink your blood where you stand. Your life now is in my hands. Before I'm done, you'll learn that it's not so fun to take." He slowly lifts Nefeli over his head as the woman quietly pleads. 'A-Athena.. give me strength.. Anything.. please!'

"You came to my home to steal, but now you become my meal. A trade you see? Take from you as you took from me." He opens his mouth, preparing to drop the woman. Odysseus quickly returned, waving his arms around to stop his friend from being consumed. "There's been a misunderstanding!! We never came here to steal, but now that I see we've done some damage. Maybe you and I can make a deal?" He motions to the others to drag over the vat of wine, "I'll give you our greatest treasure, so long as we leave alive! You can keep the world's best tasting wine." Odysseus sweats nervously as he watches the Cyclopes move Nefeli away from his open jaw. "Wine?"

Nefeli peeks from her terrified state, seeing the remnants of glowing seeds on Odyseus's hands; playing into his plan. "H-have a drink. One sip and you'll understand. The power that's in your hands." She smiles nervously, "a wine so fresh. You'll never want to eat human flesh again. Then we will be on our way, no bloodshed in here today. A trade you see, a gift from you and a gift from me" The cyclopes gazes between them; slowly lowering the woman back down. Nefeli was immediately met by Polyduses dragging her away. "Ne..come on.."

Each minute afterward, were excruciating as the creature picked up the vat of wine; chugging down the liquid with oblivious zeal. Nefeli watched; on edge by the eagle still being here...A clear sign that someone was going to die... "Ahh... I'd like to thank you. Stranger, what's your name?" The cyclopes bows his head respectfully, surprising everyone. Nefeli steps forward before Odysseus could object, "My name is.. Nobody.." She smirks and signs for Oddyseus to do the same. "Y-yes... nobody.." They both bow in return as a confused Polydeuces was hushed from giving up their actual names.

"For this gift, I have one to reply." The cyclopes starts once more, staring directly at Nefeli. "I'm so glad we can see eye to eye.." She jokes, hoping the cyclops had a sense of humor. He in fact, does chuckle while approaching uncomfortably closer. "Yes...you shall be the final wo-man to die."

"What?" Nefeli watches in disbelief as the cyclopes raises its fist; slamming it down with clear intent to crush them. "Watch out!!" Odysseus yells while tackling Nefeli away. The sudden attack caused everyone to scatter in its wake. "Zeus's balls, I thought that would work!" She coughs a bit while Odysseus drags her to the others. "Why on earth would you think it would listen?" Odysseus huddles down with the rest, "okay.. So I misjudged the situation. But I was using Po's philosophy!" Polyduches pouts and bonks her on the head, "hey! It doesn't apply to man-eating monsters!!" He argues back as she pushes him away, "Agh!" Odysseus separates them with a frustrated sigh, "not the time you two!!"

Odysseus climbs on top of the rock they all huddled behind; gaining the attention of his small band. "My brothers! The rest of our fleet, they wait at the beach. And if we're defeated, they're good as dead. Straight ahead, that is who we're fighting!!" He frowns, determination evident as the crew nods; drawing out their blades. Polydeuces grabs his axe and Nefeli grips her spear tightly. "No backup, no chance for support. So, draw out your swords. Our foe must be dealt with right here and now... Show me how... great is your will to survive!!!" Odysseus battle cries as their crew charges forward.

Nefeli made her way underneath the beast; slamming her spear against her shield to gain its attention. "Come at me, you overgrown beast!" Polydeuces joins her side, having dodged an attack, "what are you doing?!"

"Making time!" She yells, having to push him out of the way from another attack. Rolling away as she kept the Cyclopes attention on her. "Are you mad I killed your friend?! If you didn't want him dead, why'd you make him so delicious??" She cackles maniacally despite the beats' rage filled roars. Her distraction giving the others the opening they needed.

"Surround him! Attack from behind, but keep distance in mind! Stay in his blind spot and strike his heels!!" Odysseus charges forward, slashing the back of the cyclopes knees in demonstration. "Show him we're deadly!" The others follow suit, attacking in quick succession while Nefli searches for higher ground. "Po, cover me!!"

"Yes ma'am... Over here dumbass!" Polydeuces throws rocks at the Cyclopes, some even hit the creature's eye. He lets out rawr while trying to hit the Ithacan. "Exhaust him, don't let him get close! He's strong but he's slow. He can't land a blow, if we're out of reach. Find a breach! Stand up and fight for your lives!!"

Odysseus spots Nefeli climbing the far wall, chuckling as he dodges an attack. "Sometimes I underestimate just how crazy you are my friend!" Nefeli laughs, screaming as she jumps onto the Cyclopes' back; stabbing her spear into its shoulder. The beast roars in pain while shaking the small woman off. Nefeli barely managed to land safely, but didn't notice the large club being swung at her.

"Nefeli look out!!!"

She couldn't register what had happened, until she saw her friend... her brother in arms, someone she practically grew up with. Being slammed to the ground, crushed by the beats' club. "P-polities..?" Nefelis' ears rag; hands shaking as she looks down at the others' blood that was now splattered on them. "Well that was amusing.. Your friend is agonizing." The eagle laughs and lands on top of the man's body, taunting her further. Polities lifts his hand up weakly toward her, "n-nefeli.." before fully succumbing to his injuries. "Hm... they're deaths are on your hands... " The eagle laughed mockingly as it flew away while the Cyclopes picked up its club once more.

"Enough..."

Another comrades starts backing away from the beast, shakingly pointing out the imminent danger. "He's got a club!! He's got a cl-" Polyamus snuffs out his screams with a single hit. Odysseus also watched in frozen horror as, comrade after comrade were being slain.

"What are your orders?! Captain?!! Cap-" Their splattering blood now adorning his armor as Eurylocus had to drag him away. Further in the cave, Polydeuces was shaking Nefeli's shoulders. "Nefeli!! Ne! Come on, we have to hide!" He wastes no more time as he picks her up, carrying her to safety. All the while she watched eleven men fall to Polyphemus.

The cyclopes gave a sickening low chuckle as he watched Nefeli retreat. Cashing after her and Polydeuces. "You've hurt me enough... six hundred lives I'll take. Six hundred lives I'll break. And when I kill you, my pain is over. You're dying here and now. Escape is not allowed. You won't live through this day." He aims his club at the two, as Polydeuces hold her close "Nefeli!" He calls out her name, in hopes to snap her out of her stunned state. "Now die...d-iii-ii-iieee." The cyclopes chokes on his own words as he slowly passes out. His slumbing body falling, threatening to kill Polydeuces and Nefeli in its path. But a spark of thunder emanates around him and Nefeli as it zips them both out of range.
