Tonfah' s POV
I sat down and looked at the bag of snacks on the table. Today they sent it to me again.... I don't really like to eat snacks, but a lot of times I have to accept them because I'm afraid of hurting the person who gave them to me. I eat some, and if I really don't like them, I don't eat them.
But I don't know who has been sending them to me? It's been a month now. They've been sent to me by a second-year medical student whose face looks somewhat familiar, but not entirely.
"Here it is again?" asked Arthit as his eyes continued to stare at the screen of his cell phone.
"Hmm."
"He's diligent, isn't he?"
"Yes."
"If it were me, I would have given up."
"Oh, well." I shrugged, not caring about the unfamiliar writing. But I'm sure it's the same person who had sent me something during the break, and said "I really like you."
At the time, I thought it was someone from freshman year, but when the semester started, he sent a letter with no honorifics.
It's strange...
It could be a typo.
He must be a sophomore...
At first, when I read the letter, I thought it was nice. A lot of people sent me letters, but no one had ever told me that they really liked me, so I thought it was cute. That's all.
"Oh, Fah."
"What?" I looked at Hill, who called out my name.
"I told Phoon."
"What?"
"That he didn't forget to thank you."
"Did it slip out?"
"I meant it."
"Hmm." I nodded. I thought Hill would say it. Hill was the one who encouraged me to talk to Phoon all along. "It's okay. It's just about buying him food."
"Why do you have to buy him food?" said Johan, who was lying on the bench.
"He's my Nong."
"Nong."
"Yes, why?" I raised my eyebrows and asked curiously. Jo got up and sat back down.
"No reason." The person across from me shrugged slightly. "Why are you interested now? It's been a year and nothing's happened."
"I told you I hate being ignored."
"So he doesn't ignore you anymore?"
"We just talk a little."
"I knew it, that's what it was about when North and Ter went to Phoon's room that day." said Johan and turned to look at Hill. "They insisted they wanted to go. I figured it must be something important."
"Hmm." Hill nodded. "What do you think it is?"
"Of course it was about Fah. And there was a letter with the snacks Thit ate. I think the words written on the letter were similar to what North would say. It may have been North who suggested it. I don't know the nong named Daotok, but I guess he was the one who thought of the plan. North and Ter probably wouldn't think of a plan like this. But there could be someone else..."
"You know it's Phoon."
"How can you be sure," I asked Hill. "There's no evidence."
"But isn't there a strong probability?" said Hill casually. "Let me ask you again, what do you think?"
"I don't like Phoon."
"You're in denial, bastard," Jo said, sighing. "Have you always thought of him as just a nong?"
"Hmm."
I know Typhoon likes me-no... What he showed was more than that. But he tried not to let me know. He had a wall blocking him. His eyes were full of pain. It made me think he had been through something terrible and I tried to make up for it. During those four years I felt it had been my fault for leaving him and not contacting him again....
Phoon was also an important nong that I had to take care of.
But suddenly, he became someone other than himself. It wasn't Typhoon's words, it was his actions or gestures. At first, I didn't understand anything at all, but I tried to adapt all the time. The last time we talked, it was when he stayed in my room, but when I woke up and saw that the whole room was empty, there was no trace of his existence... He had really disappeared....
I chose to respect his decision, no matter what. Since Phoon had already made his decision, it meant that at that moment it was the best option and I chose to stop chasing him for a while to take care of his feelings.
And then... I found out about Torfan... I recently learned that she had died. So why did Phoon lie? And about Torfan's LINE, I was a little surprised at first, but I didn't think much of it. Why did Phoon have to do that?
Honestly, I was angry... a lot.
But I think there must be a reason, and I think Typhoon is a kid who needs help. When I saw my happier Nong, I immediately understood that he had become stronger, and that no matter what the problem was, he can handle fighting in the rain. I mean... that's very good....
He sees me as sky... I think so too. He wants me to be everything, but I can't be his. He used to have Torfan as everything in his life and when she disappeared, he couldn't survive.
What would happen if I disappeared?
There are no warning signs when you have an accident. So my life is the same. I might be crossing the street and get hit by a car and die. So I don't want to be everything to anybody.
I'm not his whole life. I hope he loves himself more than he used to love himself, when we were together, I tried to make Phoon see his good points and I complimented him often.
But the truth, is that he was always very good, and now, I see him well. I was glad that Phoon has become stronger without me....
I decided to go to the store that night, while everyone was out partying, because I thought we should talk. But as soon as I got there, his face showed that he wasn't ready to talk, but ready to disappear again. So... I will no longer approach him casually.
"Phoon is cute, isn't he?" Johan raised his eyebrows and asked.
"He's cute, but do you understand that we've been together since we were kids?"
To me, Phoon is more special than others, but we're still just siblings. We haven't seen each other in a long time.
"Then you should make that clear, shouldn't you?" said Hill with a straight face. "That's why I told you to be careful."
"Be careful."
"How?"
"Fah take care of everyone, right Hill?" said Johan.
"People who like something won't change and will continue to like it, but if Fah doesn't like it, it's not like it's wrong. But Fah, if you like Phoon and don't know it, I'll be the one to tell you off, you idiot."
"Hmm," I said, laughing a little at Jo's words. "If I like him, I like him, okay? Okay? But right now, I don't see Phoon like that."
"Then let's not interfere," Johan said. "It wouldn't be fair to you if we sided with Phoon because we're boyfriends with his friends. Even if you date someone else, we won't get in the way."
"You won't get mad?" I turned to ask Hill. He sighed a little and shook his head in response.
"I'm glad they understand."
"But don't dismiss Phoon because he's your Nong. He's flirting with you like this," Jo said as he picked up the snack bag to look. "Oh, it's grape juice this time."
I shook my head slightly at Jo's words. Hill and Jo thought it was Phoon.
To be honest, we all thought the same thing, but we weren't sure since there was no evidence, and anything was possible. He handed me back the bag of snacks. I opened it to see what the letter said this time.
'The weather is a little hot today. I think the grape juice will make you feel refreshed. I'm not sure if you ate rice during the day, so I bought some sausages that will fill your stomach.
P.S. I hope today's lab goes well.'
Although I'm not sure who this person is, the things he sends me are almost never the same. He probably always buys everything at 7-Eleven, but he is very thoughtful.
On days when it's hot, he buys me fruit juice. On days when it's cold, he buys milk. On days when I drink hot milk, he also has different snacks. He also knows what I study every day. And during midterms, he sends me a lot of extra stuff, a really big bag. Each item is suitable to eat while studying for exams. One thing I do know, is that he cares about me. Something no one has ever done for me before.....
"The handwriting doesn't look familiar?" Johan raised his eyebrows and asked.
"No, it's not Phoon's handwriting, it's just letters. Anyone can write whatever they want." I thought about what I was thinking. "You guys seem more interested."
"Can't we?" asked Hill.
"Not much."
"But aren't you a little interested, judging by the way you eat everything he feeds you?"
"It's cute."
"Whoever it is?" asked Johan.
"Yeah, whoever he is...he's cute." He clearly doesn't want me to know his real identity for some reason. Since he doesn't want me to know, I shouldn't know. I always respect other people's decisions.
"Hey Fah, you said you didn't like Phoon" Hill repeated.
"Hmm."
"But you started liking the person in the letter."
"I guess I did, I just started getting interested."
"What if Phoon was the sender?"
"Then... I guess I like Phoon, then."
"Didn't you say you didn't like him?"
"That's right. It's true that I've always seen Phoon as a Nong. I've never seen him any other way. But if he is the person in the letter, then that would be a different side of him that I've never seen before."
"And...why don't you try talking to him? Just write him." Hill said.
"I think it's best to leave it at that for now. I'm not interested enough right now." I said with a small smile.
Yeah... right now, I'm only a little interested. I'll have to keep watching for a while.
"Why don't you find out why your 'nong' has been distancing himself from you?"
"Hmm, why do I have to find out, isn't it obvious that he doesn't want to...?"
"Don't you think that would be a bit nosy?" asked Arthit. I turned to look at him immediately.
"No, I'm not that kind of person."
_____
I smiled at the medical student who had brought me the small bag with the note. I took it from his hand, but this time, I handed him another bag and said, "Please give it to the person who sent it."
"Ah, okay." He nodded and walked away. I was very familiar with his face, but no matter how many times we met, I always forgot to ask his name. Actually, it wasn't hard to tell, but what I wanted to say was that I didn't need him and that I was fine with it...
"Fah... why are you smiling like that?"
"Well... I think chocolate milk and a tuna sandwich can make someone smile too." Although I've never seen his face and I don't even know his name.
But... he's cute.
Whoever he is.

Typhoon POV
"Ter, this is urgent. We're losing our friend."
"Easy North, we just need to give him a little time."
".... North.... Ter." I turned to look at them and pursed my lips tightly. In my hand, I still held the bag of stuff I had just received. I put it on the table and stared at the beautiful sheet with the message written on it for quite a while.
"We've already given you an hour to get over your embarrassment, Phoon," Foam said as he sighed.
"Your cheeks are going to burst." He reached over and squeezed my cheeks hard. I pouted because it hurt.
"I feel...my face looks like it grew."
"What do you mean it grew?" Ter raised his eyebrows and asked.
"I don't know, it's like it's swollen, it's swollen all over. My face is swollen, my heart is swollen and my body is swollen too."
"Are you talking about feeling embarrassed? You just blushed and your face didn't grow."
"No, I think it did grow."
"Okay, whatever you say Cat." Ter smiled and laughed.
Since North brought me the stuff from Phi Fah, I've been sitting there blushing for almost an hour, my heart still pounding.
"It was worth it." I smiled broadly. "It's been an incredibly worthwhile two months."
"True, it must be the most delicious sandwich."
"Yeah." I turned to look at Ter and nodded, still smiling. "It must be the most delicious sandwich in the world."
"Congratulations," Foam said. "It's like when you cheered your friend on when he liked your senior in high school. You've gone one step further, haven't you?
Well...if you can call it that. I took it a step further...
"But I never expected anything. Being in a position where I was always watching him and taking care of him, just knowing that Phi Fah ate all the snacks I bought him, I was already happy. I never thought that..."
"He must be interested," Foam said again. I turned and looked. "I mean...he must be interested because you've been sending him stuff for two months. He knows you have a good heart."
"Then that's good."
That's really good....
"If Phi Fah is interested because I've been sending him letters, that's really good. Because the person who can take care of Phi Fah is the person in the letter. Even if I can't even talk to Phi Fah." I smiled more, not caring if anyone would think I was crazy or not. But it was real happiness. I can't describe how happy I feel right now. My feelings have reached his hands and he has accepted them....
When I was with Phi Fah, I never dared to express how much I loved him. I should have made the right decision to follow North's advice, to show him how much I loved him and was ready to take care of him. I wouldn't have had the chance to do that if it weren't for the letters.
"Phoon, let me ask you something."
"What?"
"If...if you didn't have to comply with what your father told you, would you somehow get close to Phi Fah?" Ai Ter's question made me raise my eyebrows in surprise before nodding in response.
"Sure, I think I could take better care of Phi Fah than this," I replied. "Not just in letters, not just taking care of him from a distance, but taking care of him completely. In North's words, it would be a direct hit."
"That's good, because I think Phi Fah would like you because you care about him."
"H... how?"
"Just think about it...he's never seen your face, he doesn't know you, but he shows interest in you because you always buy things for him, you tell him you like him and care about him, right? But...if there were no letters involved, and you're still like that with him, don't you think Phi Fah will really be interested in you? Don't you think he would like you?"
"...Do you think...he would like me anyway?"
"Ter, stop it. Phoon is going to explode and die."
"Phoon, calm down."
"Ter, I think I'm shorting out right now." I reached out to grab Ter's hand. My heart was pounding at that moment. "Can you imagine if Phi Fah, did he like me?"
"Your hand is all sweaty, man." Ter grimaced mocking me. "Yes, I'm talking about your Phi Tonfah, the evidence is here."
"At first, I thought I'd take you to buy everything from 7-eleven."
"He's so diligent." Ter sighed lightly. "But seriously speaking, from what I know of Phi Fah, I've never seen anyone who's done as much for him as what you've done. No matter what, he cares about you."
"You won't take sides?"
"A little."
"Ter, you..."
"Come on, you're my friend, so I'm taking your side, who else's?" Ter's words made me pout before he burst out laughing, making me laugh too. "You're just like North, so good at flattering his friends. would he have secretly done Phi Fah something secretly for you or something?"
"So dedicated," I said, still laughing.
"You look so fresh today, Phoon," Easter said. "It's like something's floating around you."
"I think so."
I'm crying with happiness, because he's smiling, and my heart is beating so fast for him. Every letter is my ordinary self. Every letter is Phoon. every word, every concern, I write it with my feelings. It is a feeling I cannot express directly to Phi Fah. I have never dared to cross the line of our brotherly relationship before.
But now I dare to cross it. I hope you will come back too. Yes... because I promised you that if one day I am strong enough, I will come back to you. And today... I am strong enough to stand by your side. I am not that weak Phoon who only depended on Phi Fah. I will be a typhoon (Typhoon) that can be a shelter for Phi Fah.

"You don't have to anymore. Who's Cupid?"
"Now is the time to give it your all."
"Why do I have to be handsome and talented?"
"Fuck, I want to be ugly."
"I think that's enough." Ter responded immediately, causing the rest of us to burst out laughing.
"What's wrong with you North, why are you so excited today?"
"Hehe, today's my day off! I finally get to be away from that fucker."
"Why?" I asked.
"He happens to go to Chinese school and he bothers me all day long. Every day. It's like something is sucking up my energy. Any minute now I'm going to start doing the lion dance."
"Idiot," I said, still laughing, "Don't say it bothers you."
"You're on his side? Traitorous rebel. I'll stop being your messenger. So you can go and hide."
"No, don't tell me to hide."
"Hey. Don't let me ever hear you say that word again, no hiding."
"Let's get back to your next cat letter." Finally, Daotok helped bring the conversation back to its original topic. North also got me off topic. "What do you all think?"
"We know he's interested," said Foam.
"Yeah, I think he's starting to get interested," said Ter.
"So do I. What do you think North?"
"I don't know. He's probably already prepared the dowry" said North casually.
"Have you picked out your wedding dress yet? I've already had my suit made and ready to go to the event since the day Phi Fah sent you the letter."
"Wow, you're in such a hurry, you idiot." Ter said, shaking his head slightly at North.
"I got a black suit, I was hoping the wedding wouldn't get off track with my suit."
"Now I have to work harder?" I raised my eyebrows and asked.
"Yes, because I'm the one who gave you the big duty, don't embarrass me by ruining everything you've accomplished."
Whew.
"You're thinking too much about the future."
"Come on, you have to think about the future. Fight a little, man. You've secretly liked it for so many years, show your power!" I think North is so excited, why is being away from his boyfriend making him so overbearing...?
"Hey, I told you not to give up, just send letters and you've been doing that for two months. I've been buying lottery tickets for ten years and I've only won twice. I'm still not discouraged, and yesterday I was eaten again. Phi Jo made fun of me. hey, don't let North win the lottery or Phi Jo won't be able to talk anymore!"
In conclusion, is the reason you look so irritated is because Phi Jo made fun of you?
"You two are cute," I said. I saw that the two of them were cute together.
"Are you sure it's you North, why do you look like two different people when you're with us and when you're with Phi Jo?"
"It's not right for me to act like with him when I'm with you."
"Can we get back to the letter?" insisted Daotok. Oh my goodness, North got me off topic again. "Let's continue."
"Yes"
"Cat, do it." I grabbed the pillow off the bed and swatted North. North threw up his hands and shouted loudly, "Okay, let's get back to our perspective!"
Daotok looked at me.... I nodded slightly. Dao must have asked permission to speak.
"I think the plan to send letters continuously for two months has worked. Phi Fah has started to take interest in the person in the letter, but we still don't know if Phi Fah knows it's cat. Actually, the possibility of the doctors knowing is very high. We guess that Phi Fah should know the possibility of more than forty percent. From the initial plan, we were sure of one thing: the cat's father would not know. There is no way the cat's father would know. It's just a letter, right? But what we're not sure about is whether Phi Fah will know or not, because he's a close acquaintance. But the point is... if Phi Fah could guess that it's cat, why did Phi Fah send the letter back? That means Phi Fah doesn't care who it is."
The four of us were like students listening to the teacher give his lesson. North frowned, made a serious face, looked uncomfortable, as if he was not used to serious things.
"Phi Fah cares about the person who sent the letter."
"So, Phi Fah might have liked Phoon before?" said Foam.
"No way," I said, shaking my head at Foam slightly. "I would know."
"You sure?" asked Ter.
"Um, I can tell that to him I was always just a Nong. He doesn't like me in a romantic way. I know, he's never been partial. While it may hurt a little to say it outright, it's still the truth. Those who don't like it, just don't like it."
"I feel sorry for you, Phoon." Foam made a worried face, looking at me. "Or should I say.... Should you back off? What if Fah doesn't like you at all?"
"That's in the past," North said. "Live for the present and the future, Phoon."
"How?"
"Are you still crying about the past?"
"Not anymore."
"Are you happy with the present?"
"Yes, very much so."
"Are you happy to send things to Fah?"
"Ahm."
"That's what matters. It doesn't matter if Fah likes you or not. What matters is that you love Fah and no one can replace him. Phi Jo once told me that when he liked me, but I had a girlfriend, he got really drunk every day for years. It hurt me a lot, I know. But in the end, now I can't be without Phi Jo either."
"With so much love for him, you must let him know as well as me to Phi Joe. where will Phi Fah go? If so, how could he not love you when he loves him so much? If he does, he is no longer human."
"Phi Fah might like you someday, but if you're waiting for Phi Fah to court you, I think that's pitiful."
"Foam!" North turned to call out loudly to Foam, which made Foam startle. "The well doesn't reach the cat!"
"Shouldn't the well reach the buffalo?" Foam arched his eyebrows and asked.
"But Phoon is a cat, so if Phi Fah doesn't like Phoon, and he's trying to woo Phoon to meet him, it's because he likes him, so you'd be the one who should be the one to woo him, right? Phoon has already come this far, so don't destroy his determination."
"Oh... I'm sorry. I should know that you've already tried so hard." Foam pouted and turned to look at me. I shook my head slightly, as if it was nothing.
"That's right. North, someone who likes you should court you."
"You're very strong, Phoon. look at you. are you going to break up with him because Phi Fah doesn't like you?"
"No way." I smiled back at North, making him smile as wide as I could. "I'll make him like me too. There's only one Phoon, and I'm only for him."
"Yes, that's the way it should be. It wasn't a waste of time teaching you. If Phi Fah likes you, when will he show it? Well, I think someone like Phi Fah will be clear. When he starts to get interested, he'll send you a letter in reply. see?"
"Why, thank you, master."
"Oh, buy me some chocolate milk, you idiot. I want to drink it too."
"Okay, I'll buy three packs."
"Hey, let's see if my friend is rich. Phi Fah knows my friend is rich and is willing to give him chocolate milk for the rest of his life? Just throw money in Phi Fah's face."
We laughed at North's cheerful words and gestures. No matter when, I always thank North. I'm glad to have them here. As for Phi Fah....
You will definitely see Phoon's great love! Be careful!
