Perth and Santa's lives have always been intertwined. Their parents, lifelong best friends, joked about their kids getting married someday, but over time, the joke became a serious agreement. Perth, three years older, grew into a responsible and mature young man, while Santa remained a whirlwind of energy, a mischievous, childish spirit who loved teasing Perth.

Santa : Phi Perth! Look at this!

Santa barged into Perth's room one afternoon, holding up a poorly made paper heart.

Santa : It's for you! My fiancé deserves a masterpiece.

Perth, sitting at his desk, didn't even look up from his laptop.

Perth : That's not a heart. That's a squashed frog.

Santa : * pouted dramatically * How dare you! This is my best work!

He flung the paper heart at Perth's head, earning a sigh. And he put that frog... I mean the heart in the box where he put all the paper crafts that Santa made it for him. Most of the crafts are hard to identify. What is that, but still, he keeps that. He smiled a little while looking at that box. And he turned around

Perth : You're going to have to grow up if we're actually going to get married.

He is finally looking at Santa. His tone was calm, but there was a teasing glint in his eyes.

Santa : And you need to lighten up, old man. * grinning * You're like an 80-year-old trapped in a 23-year-old body.

He said and dramatically stormed out of the room.Their banter was always like this light, playful, and full of hidden affection. But beneath Santa's teasing and Perth's stoic demeanor was a bond, neither of them could deny.

One day, Santa decided to pull a prank. He swapped Perth's coffee with hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows. When Perth took a sip during breakfast, he raised an eyebrow.

Perth : This isn't coffee.

Santa : Nope! It's love in a cup , *leaning forward with a cheeky grin* A little sweetness to brighten your boring life.

Perth stared at him, unimpressed. But instead of scolding Santa, he took another sip.

Perth : Not bad. But next time, don't drown it in marshmallows. * Make a fake disgusting face *

Santa blinked, surprised.

Santa : Wait... you're not mad?

Perth : *smirked* Why would I be? You're cute when you're trying to impress me.

Santa's face turned red.

Santa : W-What?! I wasn't trying to....ugh, forget it!

He stormed out, but his heart was racing.

One quiet afternoon, Perth was in the kitchen preparing tea when Santa strolled in, humming a tune. He hopped onto the counter, swinging his legs.

Santa : * flirty tone * Need help, hubby? Santa teased, leaning closer.

Perth didn't even flinch.

Perth : If by help you mean distracting me, then no.

Santa : *smirked* You're no fun. * He reached out to flick a stray strand of Perth's hair * Do you ever let loose? Smile more? Flirt a little?

Perth glanced at him, a rare smile tugging at his lips.

Perth : * smirked * Flirting with you is too easy. You'd fall for me in seconds.

Lean towards Santa and lock him by putting his hands on both sides.

Santa blinked, caught off guard.

Perth W-Who says I'd fall for you? he stammered, his cheeks flushing.

Perth leaned closer, his voice low and teasing.

Perth : Your face says it all, Santa. Why is it so red, baby?

Santa's face turned even redder.

Santa : Y-You're impossible Phi !"

He hopped off the counter and stomped out of the kitchen, his heart racing.

Later that evening, Santa was sprawled on the couch, scrolling through his phone, when Perth walked in and sat beside him. Without a word, Perth placed a soft blanket over Santa's legs. As he wore shorts.

Santa : What's this for? * glancing up.*

Perth :You looked cold.

Santa : Or it's make something inside you . * tease smirke*

Perth : Ohh come on! If it's done something, you wouldn't be able to lie down here like this. * flirt back but with red face * it's just for cold.

Santa : *frowned * You're making it hard for me to believe you when you're being sweet red like this.

Perth : *smirked* Maybe I'm just giving you a taste of what it'll be like when we're married. So it's a sample, but I won't make you warm like this when we are married, but in a different way, I will keep you warm all day and night.

Santa's heart skipped a beat.

Santa : You're too smooth for your own good, you know that?

Perth chuckled, reaching out to ruffle Santa's hair and pinch his cheeks.

Perth : And you're too easy to fluster.

Santa swatted his hand away, but the warmth in his chest lingered.

Perth saw Santa being oddly quite a 3 days.

So later that evening, Santa found himself on the balcony, gazing at the stars. Perth joined him, holding two mugs of hot chocolate this time with fewer marshmallows.

Perth : You've been quiet for the past 3 days. *handing Santa a mug * What's wrong?

Santa looked at him, a rare seriousness in his eyes.

Santa : Phi... Do you... actually want to marry me? Or are you just going along with our parents' plans?

Perth set his mug down and turned to Santa.

Perth: You're annoying, childish, and drive me crazy half the time.

Santa's heart sank.

Santa : Wow, thanks-.

Perth interrupted, his voice softening.

Perth : But... you're also the only person who makes me laugh without trying. The only one who can turn my bad days around. And the only one I can imagine spending my life with.

Santa's eyes widened.

Santa : Phi Perth...

Perth leaned closer, his voice dropping to a teasing whisper.

Perth : So yes, I want to marry you. But only if you promise to stop pranking me every other day. * teasing *

Santa, cheeks burning, tried to hide his flustered smile.

Santa : No promises, Phi.

Perth chuckled, ruffling Santa's hair.

Perth : Figures.

Then Perth turns around and holds Santa face and looks deep into his eye.

Santa froze, his words caught in his throat.

Santa : W-What are you-

Perth: Stop talking for once *murmured his voice barely above a whisper.*

Before Santa could respond, Perth leaned in, their lips meeting softly. It wasn't rushed or dramatic.. just a gentle press of warmth that made Santa's heart skip a beat. Perth rubs his hand in Santa's cheeks, and Santa puts his hand on Perth chest and holds his shirt.

When Perth pulled back, Santa's face was flushed, his wide eyes searching Perth's.

Santa : Why... , why did you do that? *his voice trembling.*

Perth smirked, brushing his thumb across Santa's cheek.

Perth : Because I couldn't wait for you to figure it out on your own. Because you are so dumb to realize so I'm not doing it for our parents.. I'm doing it for " us! ".

Santa blinked, then hid his face in his hands and put his head on perth chest.

Perth : You're impossible.

He muttered, but the small, shy smile tugging at his lips said otherwise.
