Alex walks back into the kitchen, his jaw clenched and his eyes blazing with raw fury.

"What'd she say?" Michael asks, looking up. "Where is she?"

"She's in bed, crying. I took her after she told me. It's worse than we thought."

"How so?" Nico looks scared at that, a sight not usually seen on him.

"That fucker would cut and burn her as well as hitting her. And he raped her several times, and let his friends do it too."

"What?"

"What the fuck?"

"I'll fucking kill him!"

Their shouts echo throughout the dining room, their anger obvious.

"She said she had a best friend. Her only friend, a trans girl named Annie. Said Nathan found out and..." He swallows. "Aurora doesn't know if he killed her or sent her away, but Annie went missing."

"God... No wonder she's so jumpy..."

"I can't believe he did that to her... Did Mom know?"

"Mom joined in."

"If she weren't already dead, I'd kill her for this."

"I'm going to send out a team to try and track down this Annie girl," Nico decides. "Get Ror that closure, and if she's alive, reunite them."

"How are we supposed to proceed now?"

Elias's question causes all the men to pause.

"We just have to try and show her how much we love her, and prove we will never hurt her," Michael finally responds. "It won't be easy, but I think..."

"What?"

"We have to involve Jonah."

"What the fuck? That's a horrible idea."

"He'll try to take her away from us!"

"He's the only one qualified for this!"

"I don't care, find someone else."

"Doesn't he have a right to know we found her though?"

"No! We're rivals, and his family will take her away. She's ours."

"I hate him too, but he's her brother, Alex."

"I have more brothers?" I ask, stepping into the room.

The conversation stops as they all look at me.

Michael looks sympathetic, Antonio looks pissed, Elias looks torn, Emilio angry, Alex apologetic, and Nico's expression is unreadable.

"I have more brothers?" I repeat, more forcefully this time.

Alex glares at Michael. "Nice going, asshole." He turns to me. "Yeah, you do. They're... We don't get along. I told you Mom was with Dad's enemy. Well, that rivalry has continued with us."

"Who are they?" I ignore his explanation, focusing on the fact I have more brothers.

"Ror, listen to me." Antonio kneels in front of me. "I promise you, you will meet them one day. You'll get to know them. But right now? You've already gone through so much, and they're not easy to deal with. I honestly think it will do you more harm than good to meet them so soon after finding out about us, okay? Get to know us, and then we'll introduce you to them."

I stare into his eyes. "Swear. Swear you won't keep me from them."

"I swear, Aurora. You'll meet them when you adjust to this all."

I exhale. "Okay."

Nico and Alex exchange a look. I think they were expecting me to put up more of a fight.

But I'm exhausted and already at my limit for what I can handle. I know Antonio is right. Meeting more people right now - people I'm related to, no less - would only end disastrously.

"Do you want to talk about our future now, or wait?" Nico asks kindly.

I blanch. "Uh..."

"It's okay, love. We can wait. How about we just order you some stuff online, hm?"

I nod slowly. "Okay..."

"Here, order whatever you want." Michael hands me his phone. "Don't worry about money, we have more than enough." He pats my head.

I nod and go through, adding a few items to the cart. A sunflower dress, bunny pajamas, a green jumpsuit, some leggings and jeans, tank tops, bras, underwear, and some plain shirts. I add a blue swimsuit and black Converse too before handing Michael his phone again.

He looks at my shopping list and blinks. "Is this all you want?"

I nod. "It's all I need."

He sighs but clicks buy. "They'll be here tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay."

Antonio yawns. "I'm going to the office to do some work. I'll see you in a bit." He kisses the top of my head and waves, heading out.

"I need a ride to school," Elias says, getting up.

"We have to go?" Emilio looks up from his plate, a displeased expression on his face.

"Yep. So go get dressed, I'll give you a ride." Alex smiles at me. "You can explore the house, Ror. Stay out of our offices and the bottom two floors, okay? You can go anywhere else."

I nod. "Okay. Bye."

With that, they get up and leave, leaving me alone in the dining room.
