Takahishi's frantic kicking of the door echoed through the room, his face twisted in desperation. Crinix rushed to his side, grabbing his arm to restrain him. "Hey, Takahishi, relax!" he cried out, his voice firm but calm.

Takahishi's eyes blazed with fear, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. "How can I relax while we're stuck in this room?" he shouted, his voice hoarse from panic.

Niski swiftly intervened, placing a reassuring hand on Takahishi's shoulder. "Hey, calm down, we'll find a way out of here. I'm sure there's another door somewhere in this room," he said, his voice soothing and confident.

Takahishi's struggles subsided, his eyes locking onto Niski's. "You're sure there's a way out?" he whispered, his voice laced with desperation.

Niski nodded, his eyes never leaving Takahishi's. "I'm positive. We just need to stay calm and think this through."

As the minutes ticked by, the three of them remained trapped, their anxiety growing with each passing moment. Niski began to pace the room, his eyes scanning the walls and floor for any sign of an exit. Crinix stood still, his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes fixed intently on Niski. Takahishi slumped against the wall, his eyes fixed on the floor, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

Suddenly, Niski stopped pacing, his foot hovering over a section of the floor. He looked down, his eyes narrowing as he realized he had stepped on something soft. He knelt down, his hand reaching out to touch the floor. His fingers brushed against a carpet, and he grabbed it, lifting it up to reveal a rough, hard surface beneath.

Niski's eyes lit up with excitement as he scratched the surface, the sound echoing through the room like someone knocking on a door. He tapped on it again, his face set in determination.

"Hey, guys, come over here! I think I found something!" Niski shouted, his voice piercing the darkness.

Takahishi sprang to his feet, his eyes locked onto Niski's. He rushed to his side, Crinix following close behind. The two of them peered down at the floor, their eyes straining to see in the darkness.

"What is it? What did you find?" Takahishi asked, his voice eager with anticipation.

Niski's face broke into a triumphant smile. "I think I might have found a way for us to get out of here," he said, his eyes glinting with excitement.

Takahishi and Crinix exchanged a skeptical glance, their eyes scanning the floor in vain. "What is it? We can't see anything," Crinix said, his voice laced with frustration.

Niski tapped on the floor again, the sound echoing through the room. "There's a door here, in the middle of the room. It probably leads to a basement underneath this room," he explained, his eyes locked onto the floor.

As the sound of Niski's tapping echoed through the room, Crinix and Takahishi exchanged a hopeful glance. Maybe, just maybe, they had found a way out of this nightmare.

Niski's voice was firm as he ordered, "Stop standing there, get down here and help me find a way to open it!"

Takahishi and Crinix swiftly knelt down, their hands scanning the floor in a desperate search for the door handle. Takahishi's frustration was palpable as he snarled, "How are we even supposed to open this thing?"

Niski's response was calm, but unhelpful. "My guess is this door can only be opened from underneath the basement."

Takahishi's anger boiled over, and he sprang to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury. "That's no help at all!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls. "It's all your fault, Niski! If you hadn't brought us to your stupid house, we wouldn't be in this mess right now!"

Takahishi's tantrum reached new heights as he started jumping up and down on the door, his feet pounding against the solid wood. Niski's voice was firm as he demanded, "Hey, stop that!" But Takahishi was beyond reason, his fear and frustration driving him to new heights.

And then, suddenly, there was a sound like something cracking and breaking. Takahishi froze, his eyes wide with fear, as he realized that the door had given way beneath his feet.

A blood-curdling scream tore from Takahishi's throat as he felt himself falling, the floor disappearing beneath him. Crinix and Niski were screaming too, their voices blending together in a chilling harmony.

The fall seemed to last forever, the three of them plummeting through darkness, their stomachs lurching with fear. Time seemed to slow down, and Takahishi's mind was filled with visions of broken bones and worse.

And then, suddenly, they landed with a thud, the impact knocking the wind out of them. Takahishi's scream was cut short as he realized he had landed on something soft. He looked down, his eyes wide with horror, as he realized he had landed on Niski's back.

Takahishi scrambled to his feet, his eyes adjusting slowly to the darkness. The room was even darker than the last one, the shadows deep and foreboding. Niski's blue eyes glinted at him, the only point of light in the darkness.

Crinix slowly rose to his feet, dusting himself off. "Where in the world are we?" Takahishi asked, his voice trembling with fear.

Niski's response was calm, but unhelpful. "I think we fell into the basement."

Takahishi's eyes widened in horror. "How are we supposed to get out of here?" Crinix asked, his voice laced with concern.

Niski sighed, his eyes scanning the room. "There's probably a door around here somewhere. If we look around, we might be able to find it."

Takahishi's fear boiled over, and he whined, "And then the door will lead us to another scary room!"

Niski's voice was firm as he reassured him, "Hey, calm down, we'll get out of here in no time. For now, let's just search for the door."

But as they looked around, they realized that finding a door in the darkness would be no easy task. Crinix spoke up, his voice laced with concern. "How are we even going to find the door under this darkness? I can barely see anything."

Niski didn't answer, instead, he slowly knelt down and picked up a broken piece of the door. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around the small plank. Crinix and Takahishi stared at him in confusion, trying to figure out what he was doing.

Niski placed his hand on the small piece of wood and closed his eyes, whispering, "Light in the darkness, shine before me."

As he spoke, the small piece of wood began to flicker, bright orange and yellow flames erupting from it. Niski had managed to create a small torch using the piece of wood and his jacket.

In a few minutes, the whole room was bathed in a warm, golden light. Niski stood up, a triumphant smile on his face. "Ta-da, here is the light!"

As the light illuminated the room, Takahishi's eyes widened in horror. They were surrounded by old, dusty boxes and cobwebs, the air thick with the scent of decay. But it was what lay beyond the boxes that made Takahishi's blood run cold
