Takahishi clutched the Book of Souls to his chest, his eyes wide with fear as he stared at Crinix and Niski. "You guys really want to fight this thing?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Niski grinned, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "We're going to have to try and fight it. If it gets that book and releases its army, we'll be in trouble. Besides, I've always wanted to fight a stronger opponent. Today's my lucky day!"

Crinix threw up his arms in a defensive gesture, his eyes locked on Niski. "You ready, Niski?"

Niski laughed, his voice echoing off the walls. "I'm always ready!"

The ghost reaper snarled, its face twisted in rage. "You brats are sure full of yourselves. You're going to regret not taking my offer while you had the chance."

With a swift motion, the ghost reaper lifted its hand and swung the chain attached to its wrist. The chain hurtled towards Crinix and Niski, but they dodged it with ease. The chain crashed into the wall, sending dust and debris flying everywhere.

Crinix shouted, his voice piercing the air. "Now, Takahishi!"

Takahishi didn't hesitate. He turned and ran, the Book of Souls clutched tightly in his hands. He didn't dare look back, fearing what he might see.

As Takahishi fled, the ghost reaper's chains continued to whip through the air, crashing into walls and sending dust flying everywhere. Crinix and Niski dodged and weaved, avoiding the chains with agility.

The air was thick with dust, reducing visibility to almost zero. But Crinix and Niski didn't need to see to know the ghost reaper was still coming for them. They could hear its chains rattling, sense its malevolent presence.

Suddenly, the ghost reaper's voice boomed through the room, making Crinix's heart skip a beat. "I've had enough of this! Now I must quickly kill you brats and go for that other one with the book!"

Crinix's legs trembled beneath him, fear threatening to overwhelm him. But he refused to back down. He glanced at Niski, who was shaking with fear, but then he saw something that made his heart skip a beat - Niski was laughing.

Niski's laughter was low and menacing, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Hey, you freak! I thought you'd be more of a challenge, but you're just pathetic. I should call you the King of Weaklings!"

Crinix's eyes widened in alarm. "Niski, stop making meaningless threats! Now's not the time!"

But Niski just chuckled, his laughter echoing off the walls. The dust slowly cleared, revealing the ghost reaper's twisted face. Its eyebrows were lowered, its teeth gritted, the bright green light surrounding it growing bigger and more menacing.

Crinix's legs trembled beneath him, fear threatening to consume him. He knew they had to act fast, or risk being overwhelmed by the ghost reaper's sheer power.

The ghost reaper's voice was a low, menacing growl. "You brats dare insult me, the King of Ghosts? I will demolish yo—"

Niski's interruption was swift and sharp. "Talk all you want, but I'm going to shut that big mouth of yours. All I have to do is kill you, and you'll stop talking."

Crinix's eyes widened as he glanced at Niski, his mind racing with anticipation. He knew exactly what Niski was about to do; he had seen him do it once before.

The ghost reaper's gaze snapped to Niski, its eyes narrowing in curiosity. Niski's right hand was clenched into a fist, his knuckles white with tension. Small sparks of lightning began to crackle and spark on his hand, growing bigger and more intense by the second.

"It ends here," Niski declared, his voice low and deadly.

With a swift motion, Niski shouted, "Lightning Strike!" and bolted towards the ghost reaper, the bolt of lightning crackling on his hand.

Crinix watched in awe as Niski vanished and reappeared behind the ghost reaper, his lightning-infused hand thrusting forward. But instead of the expected burst of blood and gore, Niski's hand passed through the ghost reaper's body as if it were air.

Niski's eyes widened in horror, his jaw dropping open in shock. He stumbled backward, his legs shaking beneath him. "What in the world are you?" he whispered, his voice trembling.

Crinix was equally spooked, his eyes wide with confusion. He had been certain that Niski's attack would be fatal.

The ghost reaper's smirk was a cold, mirthless thing. "I am a ghost," it whispered, its voice dripping with malevolence "My body is not bound by the same laws as yours. I can manipulate my molecular structure at will, allowing me to phase through solid objects, or disappear into nothingness."

Niski's face paled as he stumbled backward, his eyes fixed on the ghost reaper. The ghost reaper's grin grew wider, its eyes glinting with amusement.
