The first goal is here!

Will the second one be far behind?

The crowd of fans erupted into excited cheers.

That brilliant play sent Inter Milan's supporters into a frenzy.

On the pitch, Ye Chen frowned as he watched Inter's players celebrating.

If it were up to him, he'd go all out and attack directly. With their offensive firepower, could Inter really score six goals against them? Besides, every goal Inter concedes away counts double thanks to the away-goals rule.

If Dortmund managed to score one goal, Inter would need to net eight to secure the match...

However, the team's overly defensive strategy was stifling. Around the 20-minute mark, Dortmund tried to push forward, but they lacked that final spark.

It was like someone who had been bullied for too long—suddenly trying to fight back but facing even fiercer opposition.

But how long could they allow themselves to be pinned down like this?

From the sidelines, Klopp shouted, "Ye, let Kagawa attack!"

Kagawa was still the team's offensive core, controlling its rhythm. Dortmund's inability to push forward earlier was largely because Kagawa had retreated too deep.

Of course, Ye Chen had no idea this shift was partially due to him—he had encouraged Kagawa to study Kevin De Bruyne's positioning. When defending, De Bruyne would often drop back to the edge of the penalty area. However, as the team's playmaker, every time Kagawa received the ball, Inter's Cambiasso was right there to shut him down.

Now that the order was to attack, Kagawa had to move upfield.

The match resumed, with Dortmund on the ball. Kagawa shifted toward the left flank after receiving possession. Spotting Ye Chen signaling, he passed the ball immediately.

Kagawa's stats this season were impressive, and many of his assists had come from setting up Ye Chen. His role was clear: get the ball to Ye Chen and let him do the rest.

As soon as Kagawa made the pass, he started repositioning, aiming to pull defenders away. After all, no matter how skilled Ye Chen was, he couldn't dribble past an entire defense single-handedly!

Ye Chen received the ball and faced an all-too-familiar opponent: Maicon.

Maicon crouched low, blocking the outside lane. After being outrun in their previous encounter, Maicon knew better than to give Ye Chen space to sprint past him on the outside. Instead, he left the inside lane open, ready to funnel Ye Chen into the defensive trap of Zanetti and Lucio.

Ye Chen immediately saw through his intentions. If he cut inside, Zanetti and Lucio would converge on him, effectively neutralizing the threat.

"Fine," Ye Chen thought. "Let's play it your way."

Ye Chen nudged the ball inward and decisively cut inside. Zanetti reacted quickly, moving to intercept.

As Ye Chen controlled the ball with his right foot, Stanković also closed in from the right.

At this moment, Ye Chen realized their strategy: not man-marking him individually but double-teaming him as soon as he entered the danger zone.

"Are you treating my teammates as amateurs?" Ye Chen smirked.

Faking a pass with the outside of his right foot, Ye Chen caused Stanković to hesitate for a split second. Then, Ye Chen accelerated toward Zanetti.

Zanetti crouched low, his eyes locked on the young prodigy. Despite Ye Chen being only 17 years old, his performance in the previous match meant Zanetti wouldn't dare underestimate him.

Ye Chen, lowering his center of gravity, feinted to the right as if preparing to speed past. Zanetti, recalling Ye Chen's blistering pace, braced himself for a burst of speed.

But just as Zanetti adjusted, Ye Chen suddenly dragged the ball with the inside of his right foot, sending it to Zanetti's left side. Ye Chen darted past him in an instant.

"Wow! It's an elastic dribble!"

"Ye executed a flawless elastic dribble to glide past Inter's captain!"

"His footwork is unbelievably quick!"

"Is he really from China? Or is there a Brazilian spirit hidden in his body?"

The commentators were practically screaming in disbelief, and fans were left stunned.

"Gasp..."

Many in the crowd drew sharp breaths, unable to believe their eyes.

How could the defensive master they admired be beaten so easily?

Ye Chen, however, wasn't overthinking it. After bypassing Zanetti, he drove forward toward the penalty area. Lucio quickly reacted, charging out to intercept him.

But Ye Chen wasn't just a dribbler. Before Lucio could close him down, Ye Chen unleashed a powerful left-footed strike!

"Bang!"

The ball flew toward the goal as a half-height shot—one of the hardest types for goalkeepers to save.

Though it was struck with his weaker left foot, the shot carried immense power.

With the goal wide open after beating Zanetti, Ye Chen's strike was nearly impossible to stop.

César, Inter's goalkeeper, leaped like a panther, reaching out with his fingertips, but his explosive power wasn't what it used to be. Having peaked between 2006 and 2010, César's form had declined slightly over the past year, compounded by the mental toll of consecutive defeats.

Though his fingers brushed the ball, it wasn't enough to alter its trajectory.

"Swish!"

The ball hit the back of the net!

For a moment, Ye Chen stood frozen before realizing what had just happened.

Only heaven knew what he was thinking at that moment. He swore he had just taken a random shot to boost the activation of his "long-shot accuracy boost." Who could've guessed it would go in?!

After a brief pause, Ye Chen sprinted toward the away fans, roaring in celebration.

Thirty minutes of being dominated and conceding a goal—it was infuriating for any forward, especially with so few touches on the ball.

Yet, with his very first shot of the match, Ye Chen had scored!

Back in China, Zhongyang Television's studio erupted.

"Wow! Wow, wow, wow!"

"It's a goal!"

"Ye Chen's silky dribble past Zanetti and long-range shot has broken Inter Milan's defense!"

"This is unbelievable!"

"It all happened so fast!"

"Inter worked tirelessly to press Dortmund for thirty minutes, capitalizing on Van Dijk's mistake to score first. But just one minute later, Ye Chen equalized through sheer individual brilliance!"

"If Ye Chen were a weapon, I'd call him the king of all weapons—a spear!"

"The spear strikes like a dragon, piercing through the heavens!"
